I tried to call cinci bell to add internet service. No one there speaks english as a first language so I could not understand them. So, I quit. They want me to buy without knowing how much it costs. No dice.

Randy (7540) came last Friday (2-26) to install fioptics for my tv. He was on time, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. In addition to be personable he spent time explaining the remote control so I felt comfortable with it all before he left. He is an asset to Cincinnati Bell in my opinion.

I was having an issue with my landline and had to request a technician to come out. The technician was Tyler Paolello.
Mr Paolello was running a bit late contacted me to advise.
When he arrived he put his shoe covers AND his mask even though I told him it was not necessary! He insisted and told me it was required!
Mr Paolello was courteous, professional and friendly!
He immediately diagnosed the problem and explained it to me.
I was very satisfied with his service! Kudos to Tyler Paolello!

Cincinnati Bell has subpar service in every aspect. I do not recommend them at all. Their customer service is all foreign and you can't understand a word they say. They will read from a script and not be able to help you. Then, you will get passed to 4 different people and put on hold. Its terrible. If you ask for a supervisor who speaks English, they will hang up on you. All they say is reset your modem over and over. Their internet is crap to. It is always slow and you will never get the speeds you pay for. Even if you call to complain. The network is over congested even though fiber is supposed to be faster. The internet goes down just about every other night to. They seriously need to upgrade their internet. My cable has a lot of issues to. I have three DVR boxes and none of them work properly or record whole shows. Fioptics cable doesn't even carry a lot of the channels that Time Warner Cable or Directv does. Plus, they never add any new channels even if customers request them. Picture quality isn't that sharp or clear like they claim it is. 720p HD channels look like streaming 480 video. Many of the HD channels freeze up and pixelate a lot, especially when changing the channel or waiting for the station to load. It takes a long time for that to happen. Whatever you do, go with someone else who has reliable service.

12/2/15 We have been trying for days to get help with incorrect charges on our account. We ordered a landline to be added to our service, and the language barrier was frustrating to say the least. Several other charges were added to our bill we never asked for or signed up for, and we could not get anyone to help us. We could only find the main customer service number or 565-2210, and never could speak to a local English speaking person. We would give our call back number, but would always be disconnected after being transferred to different people umpteen times. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I am gladly switching companies.

What should have been a simple phone call to obtain internet service for my daughter's college apartment became the worst customer service nightmare imaginable in the hands of the incompetent and untrained customer "service" people at Cincinnati Bell's call center. This center is apparently in India as we spoke to 5 different people who all spoke English but with varying degrees of unintelligibility. The original order could not be completed because the operator failed to note the apartment number even though it was given to them twice. We received a request to please call and give the apartment number again. After 10 minutes navigating the automated phone system to get to a real person, he did not know how to update the order, so just created a new one but did not bother to cancel the original, so we continued to get calls requesting the apartment number. The third person we talked to in India put me on hold for "2 to 3 minutes" to resolve the problem. 26 minutes later, she came back on the line to tell us the First order was corrected, the second order was canceled and the equipment would be delivered the next day via UPS between 4 and 8 pm. The original operator said an installer would come in 2 weeks. The second operator said the equipment would come in the mail, and the third operator said it would come via UPS. Do they just make this up as they go??? So, of course the equipment did not come at all. We had to make two trips to the brick and mortar store to finally get this straightened out. We were told by the people at the store that "if the equipment ever showed up" we should just return it. I fully expect to get a bill from Cincinnati Bell at some point for the equipment that was never received. This is honestly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I had intended to switch our home service to CB Fioptics, but that won't happen now and I will never complain about Time Warner's prices again!

10/3/14- I am so DONE with CB. I switched to Verizon on 8/4/14 because I could move my wireless without penalty. I closed out my home phone as soon as I had internet through TWC, and the person I spoke with pro rated my bill. Right. After I paid the adjusted amount 8/25/14,
I discover they are showing I still owe the adjusted balance. THEN i got a phone bill for more money on my wireless account! I called on 9/4/14, pretty sure I was in INDIA, and they gave me a song and dance about since I was a loyal customer for so long they would refund the balance on my account, that there was no record of someone telling me they would adjust it.
They also told me I owe nothing on any CB account, and they even sent me a refund check. Today, I get another bill for the balance I owe. I talked, ok, yelled after a bit, to three different people again in India, and was told that I owe it, and if I don't pay it they will turn me over to collections! I said go right ahead. I also said I didn't think Cincinnati Bell was going to go broke over my $28.66, and pointed out that it was their decision to get rid of their wireless customers, not mine. I am going to try to find someone who speaks real english to talk to me, think I will start with the CEO. Go To VERIZON PEOPLE!!!!! Run!

The worst customer service. Been without a phone for 6 days! Then when they do repair it, the service lasted for less then 1 hour then went out again. Tried to call for service repair again , was put on hold for over a hour talked to 3 different people, who do not live in the USA! Was put on hold each time. Total time waiting on cell phone was over a hour.

So frustrated with CB. I called about home phone problem. Problem was in phone line and I was told they could not come out for three days. This was after it took forever just to get someone to talk to. For a phone company who specializes in COMMUNICATION they have the worst process to reach someone who can help. None of the calls are directed properly and it takes several people to get help.

I will NEVER do business with Cincinnati Bell Again - EVER!!!! I was a CB customer for years - with personal phone, internet/email, and business phone lines. When we were pricing options before moving into a new house last summer CB would not work with us on a competitive package. TWC had much better prices so we decided to switch. As we were going through the process, I spoke with a CB customer service rep and very specifically requested that we wanted to keep our internet and email accounts through the end of the month. (a friend had warned me that Cincinnati Bell had deleted her email account and would not reinstate it - so I wanted to be sure that did not happen to me.) I was assured that would NOT be a problem. Funny thing is I could hear something in the rep's voice that told me his was not being truthful..and boy was I right. The very day Cincinnati Bell disconnected our phone, we lost all access to our email accounts. EVERYTHING WAS GONE. After having those accounts for 18+ years. It's been 8 months and we are still digging out. I am angry and completely disgusted at the complete disregard the company has for it's CURRENT customers. I will never ever do business with Cincinnati Bell again. The company has NO REGARD for it's Customers at all. I have told just about everyone I know about this experience and will continue to do so.

Every one of your phones that I receive must be refurbished because maybe 2 days after I have so many problems with. Then I go back time & time again



Yesterday was the final straw my phone that is not even 2 year old completely shut off so I went to the north gate mall location, the lady tried to get it to come on nothing. Them she told me its gonna be 65.00 to send back. Mind you I have no other phone wow



After speckling with some one else @ the same store he had s loaner phone & the price would be35.00 what scams are yhall pulling.

I am thoroughly unhappy with Cincinnati Bell. Customer service is NOT customer friendly. Went to a store to buy a case for my phone on Tylersville Rd. in West Chester Ohio...got to the door one minute before they opened and three employees
just stood behind the counter and looked at me. They were not going to open the door for any reason. Don't even think about calling customer service...English is not a first language. What has America come to...ugh!!!

I had a concern with my home phone service with Cincinnati Bell and spoke with a person who was unable to assist me or give me any information that I could not read for myself online. I had a difficult time understanding her and she spoke over me when I was trying to ask her questions regarding my billing. If I can use the same phone number I have, I will switch to another phone carrier.

Worst customer service ever. Have tried for two days to get someone. Finally got a person in tech support which is not needed. I need their repair but when you call they take you to tech support. After they confirmed my cable box is not working (which I have known for two days)they decided they would escalate the problem and have them run more tests. I keep telling them it is just their equipment as my television is fine. So again I wait for another day. So sorry I work and can not sit home and wait for their call. They sure know how to get my bill to me every month. If this is customer service they can disconnect and I will obtain service from another source (Time Warner).

Cincinnati Bell is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with in many years. Have been trying for six months to pay my bill over the phone. In the past it took 2 minutes and now takes 2 hours. Have talked to at least 15 reps and they assure me the problem is fixed. One rep named Brandy was going to call me right back. That was 5 days ago. At a family gathering, four other people had nothing good to say about CBell customer service.

Caution for Cincinnati Bell mobile users: Check your complicated bundle bill carefully. Charges for extra services that you didn't order may show up ... and may keep showing up even after you call to cancel. I just had to fight with a supervisor (after speaking with a rep I couldn't understand who offered me a 2-month refund) for a 10-month refund, and it was their mistake.

It's only $1.99 per month, but how many of the hundreds of thousands of customers are paying it without knowing it? One of pet peeves.

I have yet to try the number from this site, but yea, "Customer service" is a lie. After 20 minutes on voice mail H### I finally found a number to talk to a representative,,,, or so I thought. 30 minutes later I had to hang up after listening to adds on how wonderful my rep would be every 2 minutes.
Sad, I called Verizon with the same, but fake, problem, got a person in 3 minutes, she said, this is what they would have done!
Don't waste your time going to CBs web site, it's more frustrating than the phone H###!

I have to say that I have had sooo many problems with Cincinnati Bell!!! It is the most frustrating company to deal with. I don't know why they call it customer support as there is none!!! All you do is get a run around, albeit ever so politely......

If you ever see EMERGENCY replace Cincinnati Bell... Take your battery out right then.... YOUR PHONE will dial 911 for no reason at all... several times.... I always wondered whu EMERGENCY would pop up in certain areas of town I was in..... I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR CINCINNATI BELL.... YOU ALL ARE PATHETIC!!!
