Please Help Me. I Am A 82 Year Chevron Retiree. I Live In Colombia The First 10 Years. My Medical Claims Were Handled By Bunny Mazurex In Georgia. Then Medco, Advised That I Must File My Claims In Nevada. Medco Nevada Ignores My Claims For About 10 Years. I Pay 655.oo Per Month, And My Medical Bills Are About 1000.00, Medco Nevada Will Not Even Send Me The Claims Form. I Wish Medco Nevada Would Wake Up, I Had Nninsurance Coverage With Medco Georgia For About 10 Years. The Service In Georgia Was Excellent.. Medco Nevada Doesnot Pay The Inurance Claims Of A 82 Year Who Lives In Olombia.joseph Loyd

When I make calls to Medco, are the calls being answered in other countries?

My mom has Medco plan, sent her 3 meds,
separately instead of together. The one she
NEEDS she does not have yet,has 2 pills
remaining. These were called in week to ten
days ago. She was getting at local pharmacy, but Medco called her and told her
she couldn't do that an had to get through
them. Which to me she should have the right
to have her prescriptions filled where she
wants. MEDCO I THINK THIS IS CRAP! I told
her to get them locally,and the heck with you guys. Plus she can never get a LIVE PERSON only your stupid automated service.

medco / express scripts is complete crap! if they feel you are getting too much in medication they will call you doctor and tell them to change the prescription to a lower number of pills over a three month period and then ship you this amount without ever informing you, the patient of the change. h
However, you are responsible to pay for the medication whether you want the lower amount or not, because they will have shipped it to you. They do this all the time!!! if you call Medco and ask to speak to someone by name, no-one in the company can look them up of find their number....this is a terrible company!

Hi,

I would just like to file a formal complaint due to the hassle that I have had to go through in order to obtain my medications. I think that it is absolutely rediculous that a medical company can allow for someone to go without medication for an extended period of time. I tried to refill a prescription last week, and was only able to speak to someone and have it processed today! Now my order won't be processed for another 2 days, and it's going to take 3-5 days to get to me AFTER that... Thats a full week that I have to go without medication. I know in my case it's not THAT serious of an issue, but it's my mental health that is being effected by this! and that is unfair to me.

I also know that I am not the only one of my friends that has had similar problems getting medication on time. I'm not a happy customer, clearly and I find it hard to believe that this is supposed to be the more convenient option for obtaining prescriptions...

However when I finally reached someone on the phone, they were extremely helpful and did what they could to help me, but it should have never come to this point of disatisfaction with the services provided by Medco.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered my meds 2nd week of Dec 2012 it's now the end of Jan 2013 and they still haven't shipped the meds to me. If this was a med I needed to stay alive i'd be dead. Simply the worst company I have ever worked with. Tried to get my prescription filled at my local pharmacy and they couldn't because it shows in their system that Medco is filling it, and it doesn't give my local pharmacist the option to override. I will never use this service again and I will make sure to tell all of my colleagues how horrible they are.

This service SUCKS. Got disconnected at least 6 times trying to reach a live person to pay a bill.

This is the WORST system ever, call to follow up on an asthma medication after an hour of talking to three reps calling my doctor's to confirm they place an order to be told we have nothing for you. By the time i got off the phone i needed blood pressure meds that F@@@ing automated system is so frustrating the only way to combat this is to take it up with your employer or union. this presciption plan is terrible. they claim to save you money. when i was able to go to my local pharm. i got my three month supply of symbicort and combivent 3 inhalers of each for $85 by mail they sent me the wrong dosage for sybicort refused me from exchanging it for the proper med. but i could get the proper one if my physician would write a new scipt and pay FULL price. The combivent for three monthes 3 inhalers for $40 instead they give me 1 for $30. something has got to change,

Yesterday prescription "on hold" to make sure I was willing to pay $570. Today "on hold" to see if I would pay $688 for same prescription! Why the difference? No explanation. Uninformed, poorly trained. Will get prescription locally!

This has been the worse experience ever; their service is not beneficial. I called their office before having my prescription transferred to Medco and was told that it would not be a problem to have my prescription sent to my PO BOX, I explained that I was a college student and that I can only receive mail via PO BOX and that the medicine needed to be kept cold. I would have been waiting for my prescription for several weeks if my mother would not have checked on the status no-one called or emailed either one of to let use know that the prescription was on hold becasue it could not be shipped to a PO BOX. Their service leaves something to be desired. Mail order service is not an efficient way to fill prescriptions, it appears filling my prescription at one of the major chain stores is more reliable, convient, and yes maybe a higher price but reliability out weighs the cost.

I placed an order on 8/3/12 for a refill. Told the rep I moved and provided her with my current address. One week later, on 8/10/12, Medco called to verify my address. I told them my address AGAIN. I thought maybe when my meds shipped, it triggered something in the system that they went to a different address, so they were crossing their T's and dotting their I's to make sure the address change was legitimate. On 8/13, I received an automated call that my prescription was delayed and to call them if I had fewer than three days' worth of pills left. They gave no phone number to call. Dug around and found the number and was told the prescription had not yet shipped because they did not have my address. Yet they did have my new phone number. I escalated the call to get 2nd day air shipping since I had only 1 pill remaining. Was told they would ship that day by UPS 2 day air. Now, it's 3 days later, no prescription. Made another call and found out that it was not sent 2 day air, was sent 1st class by USPS and projected delivery date is Saturday. These people are total screw ups! Local pharmacy only for me from now on!

I call the costumer service, the representative was great. I didn't have problem get to a live person and she is very helpful.

Sorry to hear about everyone's problems. I called the number provided on this web-site, said I wanted to speak to a representative, then didn't answer any more prompts, and got right through to a human. She was nice and knowledgeable, even gave me my ID number. Is going to send the info I need.

They are ridiculous. I tried to call about prescription and they kept telling me they were "looking for the number" for a dedicated team to handle my call. That took about 15 minutes. Then they said they didn't need to do that, but then they still couldn't answer my questions. And it will take 8 days to receive my prescription. So, now, out of pills, I need to go and beg the CVS for a holdover supply. Oh, and the reason I didn't refill through Medco in the first place was because I was supposed to be able to get 3 fills of the drug at my local pharmacy. Yeah apparently, they don't know consider new dosages as new prescriptions. Gosh it's fun.

Medco is a ridiculous excuse for a company. I mailed in a script for a brand name drub as the generic does not work. They called the doctor's office and got a secretary to send a new prescription in which she did not check the box DAW (dispense as written), so they mailed and billed me for the generic. I have been on the phone with them 9 times in ten days trying to get the mess straightened out, so what do they do? They call and leave a message that I have two days to verify my address or they will cancel the prescription. I have lived at the same address for 28 years and have never had the prescriptions send anywhere else. I called and spoke to a supervisor sho told me that the prescriptions were ready to ship out but he needed to verify my address because it was not on the prescription. Bullpoopoo. I wrote it myself on the order. He said the order would be sent out today. I got a call from my wife two hours later that they (a robocall) had called and could not process the order because it was more than they wanted to charge the credit card, even though they have charged more in the past. I finally got another supervisor who looked it up on the computer (finally) and found that yes indeed, they were charging the srong amount, and if I could must verify my address she could send the ok to another department for processing. I'll die before I get my meds. I HATE these people.

Automated service is dreadful. Push this for that and wait, wait, wait. I had to speak to 3 individuals before I was put onto an automated responder. This type of service is not representative of "excellent customer service". Please rethink this service. Perhaps you could offer a returning veteran a job...and let a "live" responder represent your company.

I would never recommend Medco to anyone!!!

Medco will call you even if you have updated details for anything on this page, such as new steps ... Speak "customer service" two times wasting two or three minutes of my life to get routed to a representative ... On June 5 2012. Medco customer service is ranked #469 out of the 540 companies.

On may 16th,lisa assured me that she would and could have my fortament 1000 rx sent out that day b/c i still had a refill left.5 days later i received a letter from medco asking me to call.when i did i was informed that lisa was wrong b/c my fortamet rx was historically outdated b/c medco ran out of fortamet and told me i needed a new script which my doctor filled with glumetza.when i spoke with lisa on may 16th, she told me fortamet was now available. I said fine. this is when the problem started b/c lisa was not trained properly.she should have known there was a break in the history of my fortamet rx and requested a new rx starup of fortamet through my doctor. a of today may 22nd, i have 4 days of fortamet left. On may 21st,i received a letter telling me to contact medco about this problem. I called and spoke w/steven who transferred me to supervisor beverly. beverly assured me that she would contact my doctor and return a call to me about the outcome. this was at 1255pm. at approximately 540pm,since beverly had lied to me and she did not call me, i called again and laura assured me she had spoken to beverly and beverly would cal me back with an answer in 10-15 minutes. at 715pm i called again b/c beverly did not call me and so this was another lie. I spoke with eric cutler who is in the same office as beverly in tampa,florida.He said he approached beverly and that she claimed she tried to contact my doctors' office but got the answering service. from my experience the answering service is in effect after business hours. Since she lied twice about returning my calls, i have to feel it is possible she lied about calling my doctors office too! This is my worst experience dealing w/customer service anywhere.If i were betsy(head of custoer service) i would listen to beverly's monitored calls and then decide whether to fire her.I WOULD! I called my doctor this morning and asked that a new rx for fortamet be sent to medco(BRAND NAME ONLY) I then called and spoke with steve and requested that notate on my file BRAND NAME ONLY. I hope he was capable of this. JESTIN SMITH

I think its a disgrace that we have to use a mail order pharmacy.We have attempted to get our prescription for 2 months, and its one thing after another, always the runaround. And to speak with someone, takes an act of congress! You people are trying to put the local pharmacies out of buisness. It is much safer to go in to your local drug store and get your script filled. they know your history, and the meds you are currently on or have been on, as well as answer and explain any questions you may have.

Thank you for previous comments that tipped me off to say "Customer Service" to get to a live person from the recording. It works.

I received prompt and good service from the customer service representative, I don't care who or what country I was speaking to. All I care about is that they understood why I was calling and promptly took care of it. I personally have only had good experience with Medco--perhaps I have been lucky.

Medco is truly THE WORST!! Every transaction I have had with them (after being forced to by my ins. co) has been a complete mess. Too many to list here, but the latest is truly the worst and I'm sure illegal. I too had an automatic refill sent, that I didn't intend to get, due to the Symbicort aeresol containers were faulty, delivering up to 10 TIMES the amount prescribed. After reporting this to medco and the manuf. Medco simply sent out more in exchange for the faulty ones. These too were faulty & by this point I was keeping a diary of the amounts dispensed. Again Medco sent out ONE replacement which was faulty. NO ONE at MEDCO suggested I stop the medication until they figured out what the problem was. I stopped on my own and will not use it again, as AstrZ has confessed that they have had other reports of this problem. I have a total of $450.00 in this medication which I can't use and after many HOURS on the phone w/cs was finally told to return 3 containers for a $150.00 refund. I did, never got confirmation they had refunded my credit card, so after contacting Medco again, was told refund was up for consideration??? Since it has been over 14 days I suppose I wasn't considered. Now they have LIED about the refund, kept the faulty containers that I was authorized to return and that's it. I was willing to eat $300.00 of my loss, but now I am considering legal action for the entire $450.00.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

Impossible to get a hold of. They won't give out a company phone number. won't give me my member number. (so i can't switch my prescription, they only want you to order through them- and will do ANYTHING to make sure it will happen).

I guarantee you will not run across a company with worse customer service.
