Medco is the worst company to order medications from! Use Caremark! Medco lost my prescription over a month ago and I still have not and will not receive a prescription from them! I have spoke with numerous people over for over almost two weeks and I still have not received my medication! And not Medco will NOT fill my prescription because it is after the 1st of Jan! They do not track there shipping and forget getting them to send out an "emergency care package" because it won't come! I have spoke with managers and supervisors and nobody can get my medication to me. Each time I called I got a different story. It's bs. I think that it is horrible that Medco will not provide me with the medication I need and they lost especially when the medication I am on can cause serious side effects and withdrawal symptoms if the user stops taking it. How can they do that? I need my medication imagine if one of your perceptions is lost for over a month and there is nothing that medco will do. They full of crap and are a horrible company with horrible costumer service. DO NOT USE MEDCO!

My doctor renewed all of my medco prescriptions. I received an automatic renewal and received a 90 day supply resulting in exceeding my medicare gap 2 weeks before the end of the plan year. Consequently I had to pay a $236 out of pocket expense. I contacted Medco informing them that I did not order the prescription, explained the additional expense I incurred. I was informed that no credit could be issued and that I could not return the prescription due to medicare regulations. Also was told that my prescriptions had to be automatically refilled and billed.

The manager I spoke with could have cared less about my situation and blamed it on the medicare regulation that prohibited any credit issue regardless if an error occurs.

I strongly recommend that any prescribers avoid this provider and seek coverage with a reputable, customer service oriented company.

Medco is the worst PBM to deal with! I worked for Caremark for about a year and a half and thought management was dispicable but Medco is ten times worse and you can never reach someone other than a person from India...either their call centers are overseas or they think it's acceptable to hire cheap help so their callers cant understand a word their representatives say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Medco is AWFUL just spent 45 waiting and straightening my coverage out, then drove to pharmacy for my meds to hear the pharmacist tell I'm NOT COVERED very Frustrating!!!! Wish my Insurance would Drop MEDCO!

This number and these instructions were right on. However, I believe I may have been routed to India.

The DR. who wrote this review is absolutely correct. I watched my doctor call MEDCO and it was a nightmare. 20 minutes to get a medication approved. Their tactic seems to be to make it painful for a doctor to write prescriptions.

I have been trying to get a prior authorization for a patient who had to stop the medication because the Insurance Company ( Medco) refused to pay the pharmacy without their authorization. It was notified to me ( doctor) 5 days after.
The Company ( Medco) through their representative( Deborah) made everything difficult and progressively complicated and slow ( which appeared to be intentional) , requesting information that I already provided multiple times. Requesting a supervisor was denied as well, placing the call on hold for 15 minutes without response.

I called the 800 number and followed your instructions for reaching a "live" person and got to an operator immediately! Thanks for saving me from a lot of frustration.
