Awful experience today at fry's on 107th Ave and Indian School. First I went to buy everything to make lasagna started at 9:30am. When i was gonna start preparing the filling i noticed the ricotta cheese had green spot on the top side when i I opened it then in side as well so i go back to the store to exchange it and i did and bought another one then i went home and began to finish then as i was finishing the last steps to my lasagna i was sprinkling the shredded mozzarella cheese and i spotted green bits of cheese i was shocked first the ricotta and now the mozzarella i just couldn't believe it my whole mornings was ruined and then when i went to fry's store to complain about what happened the manager was nice and gave me a refund for all that i spend to make the lasagna which was 14 bucks and only gave me 15 bucks! for my troubles really 15 bucks! 3 trips to the store cause of your bad product and all the time i spent cause i had to keep coming back to the store to exchange this and that. I have pictures of the molded cheese which i touched with my hands. Walmart is the place to shop for now on i will never give you my buisness again.i been a loyal customer for 20 years but this store is bad always something.

According to Fry's Points, I was informed via the computer that I had 45 points to use or they would expire in three days. I tried to get it and it wouldn't work, so the lady at the gas station said to go to Fry's and explain what happened. I did that, but she said I had to have 100 points to get the points. So, I didn't get the 45 points. My question is "why was I notified that I had 45 points to use if I couldn't use them". Thank you. I would appreciate an answer. Judith L. Edwards

I went to get gas st frys on first and grant in Tucson on 11/14. I pulled up to the pump just as my phone rang, it was my mom. Well, I haven't heard from her in a while and soon was involved in a lively discussion with her for ten minutes. After her call I got in my vehicle without pumping the ten bucks in gas I purchased. I drove away and very soon realized I forgot to pump my gas and went back to the station and told the woman working there what happened. She looked at me like I was stupid and told me I was a scamming dumb ass. I don't need some underpaid worker telling me I'm a dumbass. I explained I made a mistake and again she called me a scammer and actually told me to never come to that station again. I spend hundreds of dollars a month at this Frys and I couldn't believe what she was telling. After a few attempts to get this worked out she still did not believe me, called me a scammer again, and made me pay another ten bucks for gas. I felt bad about myself because if this awful women. She had no customer skills at all and insulted on top of it. I'm appalled someone like this works dealing with customers. I'm out ten bucks because of a misguided workers ignorance. She is an old woman with glasses and heavy make up. I need to refunded the extra ten bucks I spent because of her.

I bought a brand new Boss radio from your store 3 weeks ago. It never worked properly. I called the install and he wasn't here twice when I had time to come. The sound was horrible. From cd's, dvd's, iPhone aux, and radio. Volume jumped up and down and it had nothing but static almost. Also, the very 2nd CD I ever put in there got stuck! It's still stuck! You guys have my cd too now! I also realized that the model I bought, which is almost identical to another Boss, didn't have hands free. That's another thing I was looking for. When I 1st shopped here, you guys beat Amazon by $2 already. That was great. However y'all offered a $60 install fee with the purchase. Best Buy had it for $12 more, but with free instant installation. So like good business people, you guys offered me free install. I just had to buy an adapter for my antenna. (Like $14.99. No biggie. Now that nothing works, a cd is stuck, and It wasn't what I was looking for in the 1st place. (Wanted a wireless hands free stereo). Which it said it was on the wall. Now, they won't give me a refund. They say I have to pay for labor and install now. Labor and install that was not done correctly. Labor and install that I had to work my schedule around to even have it looked at. Btw. The guy that specializes in my car/radio type isn't here again. So of course I have the same number of reasons to return and get my money back as I do fingers and toes. & I will not pay for an install or job that was not done right! That is not how business works. Not at all! I do need a few things from your store even today. So some of the money was going back into Fry's, probably a lot. Now I'm not sure I'll ever spend a single dime here again. & im not leaving the store or the radio I paid for in an associates hand until I get a full refund for the worst sounding radio I don't want and for the free install I was promised and then charged for when it was done incorrectly. Please respond ASAP. You can email or call me at . But I'm here until this gets resolved. Thank you for listening to the issue I had at your Plano, tx store. I hope you guys can resolve it.

Ryan Cobb

I saw some information on the internet that the frys Kroger brand stores are offering a 5% discount on Thursdays for customers who are 60 years old or older. I had never heard of this offer and was not informed at any frys stores I've been in that this discount is available. Can you tell me if this is correct, is it official, is it true? when did it begin?

I have tried for several days to reach customer service regarding Chromebook's and no one ever ever picked up the phone. Reachability for Fry's is very very poor. Please have one of our associates call Fry's in the City Of Industrys, Oxard and up north no one will pick up.

I am happy to say that my problem at the Manhattan Beach, California Fry's store with the ever so arrogant Hiriam Vasquezz, has been resolved.

After calling and actually getting Frys.com they called the store and went to bat for me.

I was put in touch with the manager, Tanya Smith, who quite pleasantly gave me a refund for the defective motherboard.

I guess it's true that one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.

I purchased a Gygabyte brand motherboard and an Intel CPU combo that was on sale.
After getting home I opened the boxes and was ready to build my new computer.
I opened the socket cover on the board to install the CPU only to discover that some of the pins were bent.
I put it back in the box and went to the Manhattan Beach, California store where I purchased it. After waiting in the return line for 20 minutes the "associate" opened the box and agreed that the pins were bent and told me that it was considered damaged and couldn't take it back.
I protested and she then conferred with her rather arrogant manager, Hiriam Vasquezz, who, basically told me to get lost.
The box was intact and had all manuals, cables and software and not so much as a single scratch on the board, just some bent pins under the CPU cover.

What a bunch of crap! Does this mean that to purchase something at Fry's you need to bring your own box cutter and dissect and inspect the merchandise before taking it to the check-out counter?

I have purchased items there before that had obviously been opened and resealed or re-taped. They worked so I kept them. This either was one of those or was a factory defect, either way they should have taken the board back.

I even said that I didn't need a refund, just an exchange or even store credit, but El Jefe Hiriam Vasquezz gave me the bum's rush. His attitude may have been because he had to work on Memorial Day, which it was.

I will get this appalling lack of customer service rectified one way or another. I'll email headquarters daily if I have to and stop payment on my credit card.

So, be sure to open every box and inspect the item at Fry's before you make the purchase.

This note is a complaint regarding how I was treated today at your store at 435 S. Ellsworth in Mesa AZ. February 18 at 1;48 pm. Reference # 027535

I was returning a dozen red roses purchased earlier. The roses never opened and only lasted a few days.

I did not have the receipt, but the female (I assumed was the manager) found the purchase using my phone number. She said that she should not give me a refund as my story had changed and said I was rude to the store.

I was not confrontational...business like requesting a refund for a defective product.

Really? Rude to the store? Your female employee was the rude party. Because I could not remember the purchase date my story had changed? I said nothing and left the store fuming...as you may expect I was very upset.

Just thought you would like to know how a customer was treated today.

I have been a Frys customer groceries and pharmacy for almost 2 years. My prescriptions number approximately 10. I had 2 prescriptions that when I filled my weekly dispenser that were short on

pills. I am not feeble and I do not self medicate. I take prescriptions as directed. The prescriptions are synthroid and metformin. I am short 9 days on the synthroid Refill is 2/23/15.

I paid for 90 pills and got 81. Metformin is 2 a day so 3month supply is 180. I am short 8 pills.

I do not lie, I do not over medicate. Yet I was told at the Frys on 60th and Thomas in Phoenix

that their inventory matched so they couldn't do anything. Plus I could get my refills done now.

It isn't the refills. I paid for pills I didn't get. There is one pharmacist (older) who is good. The

rest I can give refills, they lose them. I give them Medicare and new RX cards and they lose that.

What do I have to do? Go to Walgreens? They DON"T CARE. It is the treatment and NOT CARING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, not just the number of pills.

I think something has happened to customer service and caring about people. I guess I do need to find a pharmacy that cares about the patient and customer.

I shopped Fry's store 84 Highway in San Tan Heights, Arizona yesterday. I avoid shopping there and any Fry's and haven't in 4 years. I go there for a random item I can't get else where or when I'm close and to lazy to go somewhere else. Nothing has changed except the employees manage to look more miserable than at Wal- Mart, the atmosphere is more draconian and oppressive than the last time and there is even less people per department to help.

What did make me fall over though was that THE store manager was actually ringing the cash register. A change since I rarely if ever see them in the store on their floor.

Although my interaction was pleasant and polite what irked me was that she did not accept my one pathetic competitor's coupon for $2.75.

Really? I mean seriously? I had not been aware that the coupon policy changed. She informed me so.... politely. She did not, however, apologize. She neither used the good judgment of a manager in providing exceptional service nor exercised the part of the coupon policy that said, "they reserve the right to change it at any time". Uhmmm...ever here of "Customers first"? I believe that had been Fry's mantra for the longest time.

I took my competitor's coupon which was $2.75 off of any purchase of 3 12 packs of Coca Cola product (Fry's had them at 3 for $12.00) and went to Safeway. Safeway had their Coke at the same price. Although Safeway DOES NOT accept coupons like this when I spoke to the manager about my experience at Fry's and explained why I now shop at Safeway regularly and always will he graciously accepted my coupon on Fry's behalf!!! NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!

So I spoke to Robert Flores (manager) and he tells me he can't do anything to help move this along. It's closing on an hour and I still don't have the approval for the dryer price that is listed on the product. Can anyone there call the store to resolve this?

Posted by Anonymous

I've been in line waiting for a more than 30 minutes to get the price in my dryer approved. The sign says 549 and the paper they gave me says 949. They tell me they are waiting for corporate to fix it in the computer. Is this normal?

I am very disappointed with my recent purchase of a Garmin nüvi 2555LMT at Fry's Electronics in Fountain Valley. The unit was described as open box' but in fact the unit was well used, dirty and showed wear. Missing from the package was the 3D traffic receiver with vehicle power cable' and the instruction booklet. In the past, I've bought computers, printers, monitors, etc., at Fry's but recent purchases have been problematic. For example, Fry's advertised radio frequency wireless headphones and the headphones were DOA. When I returned the headphones, there were boxes of the identical headphones stacked up behind the returns counter. Judging from the dearth of cars in Fry's parking lot, other consumers are disappointed as well with Fry's crappy merchandise and poor service.

Fry gives you used products when you thought you were getting new. Bought my daughter a laptop and when she tried to use it, it was full of viruses. Went back and they said all the others were opened at the other stores too. Now they have almost $700 tied up that I have to wait 2-3 days to get my refund. I will never go back!

Your company sucks. We purchased a computer from your Houston store. Not long after its purchase it kept randomly crashing and restarting, losing valuable date. We took the computer in for warranty repair. Not only did they not fix it, they made it worse. But, for the low low price of 99.00 they offered to charge us for taking it 70 miles back to the store. Yes, they wanted to charge for their failure and incompetence. What the hell kind of company are you running?

to whom this may concern

i received an email from fry's stated their sale items so i called the local store in las vegas nv and spoke with an associate,i explain i would like to purchase one of the sale items which was an Lenovo computer that was on sale product number .price was 288.00.i ask him if they could hold this item and the representative stated yes we can hold it for twenty hours, he stated to me just come in and pay at the cashier i did that the next day when i got off work which was with in the twenty four hour.i waited in line and when i got to the registered they told me they sold out so i ask to speak to the manager i spoke with john briefly he did take the time to listen at all he distracted with other thing it seemed.your leadership is very poor at this store,i then spoke with mr bocellari who then offer me a rain check.the point is if you are telling your customers you will hold item for twenty four hours you should make good on your promise, they did have two still left in inventory that was put on hold but i was told,i then replied what makes them different then my situation, so i made a wasted trip and was told the item would be on hold.i work in the hotel industry and know how important customer service is! apparently some of your staff and management need to look into active listening and show a sense of urgency when dealing with the public complaints.over all i like fry's and when our guests inquire where to go to buy electronics i always refer you guys down the street.i may have to refer them somewhere else.

thank you for your time

unhappy customer

I've just left Frys (San Marcos) for the last time!!!!!

I used to buy at Frys at least 2 times a week, usually much more, for my business and hobby. Lately Frys is like a gamble every time I go in the store. I first used the Frys website to avoid a waisted trip... with no luck!!! Try searching for "binding posts" without getting hundreds of movies in the result. ....and then try to contact the Web-master to comment on the website!

In any case, I went to the store... looking for wire, binding posts (test jacks), and fuse holders, and a few other parts... and what did I find?

Black stranded #18 wire but no red or green... Red binding posts (2) but no other colors. And ten minutes to find help to tell me "sorry we seem to be out".

This store was so poorly stocked that even if I could find what I needed, I would be much better off shopping completely on line with better prices and a fuller selection. Frys has turned into what was once a very good location to pick up what I needed for hobby and my security business to a waste of time.

The store shelves resemble, for the most part, a higher priced swap meet with less technical items than cheap Chinese imports.

Posted by frys sucks the big one

awful customer service especially in this day and age. Sold software with invalid product keys and won't exchange for valid product keys. They are basically selling counterfeit software and expecting the orignal vendor to pick up the tab.
