I purchased a Dell Inspiron 23.8 Touchscreen Full HD IPS, , ordered #
on June 4, 2016. I ordered this item for my Son that was in Iraq and was expected to be home in late August 2016, when we opened this package the LCD screen had two cracks on the top right had corner and left hand middle which I could not see until my son told me about them. I called HSN today and talked to customer service and she stated that it was after the 30 days and could not return or replace this item, I tried to explain to her that this come in the box as cracked. She stated that there is a warranty that I could purchase that would cover any damage so I purchase it today. But she wanted me to call Dell's Customer Service and have them replace it under the yr warranty that come with the manufacture warranty. I called Dell and they told me No. They suggested I call Dell's out of warranty Dept which I did and spoke to Harjeet, he told me also that he could fix it for $269.00, I asked to talk to his supervisor and this time it was Naveen, He also said they had to charge me for the problem. I called HSN back that they are responsible for the return and repair. I called HSN again, This time George transfer me to warranty, spoke to a young lady telling me no they cant help me, I asked why did I purchase this if it is not going to help me. I called HSN again, spoke to another person, he said the warranty program should fix it but I explained to him they said no, he went to speak to Supervisor and came back with the same NO they cant help. Is there NO one that can help me with this, I shop all thru the year buying Birthday Presents and Christmas present because I can not afford buying the the present at the same time at the end of the year on my Soc Sec income. I had a Pacemaker put in me in June as well, so this is so frustrating as ever. I will think twice before I recommend anyone again to HSN or Dell. Thanks for Listening.

I recently returned my laptop twice for repairs to the mother board not even a year that I've had this laptop I don't do gaming I just use it for searching and normal use no small children use it I'm the only user I don't, understand why this has happen I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ONE TO ANYBODY I'M VERY DISSATISFIED WITH DELL

I have a Dell tablet that has been in for repair 2x's now & still won't charge. Unfortunately I have misplaced my receipt showing cost of product & extra 2 yr warranty I purchased for product. Isn't there anyway you could find this information from your end? I purchased product in 2014. Please!

How to disable the on-board graphics adapter in the BIOS?

My PC has following specification....

CPU= Dell Vostro 3250.
OS= Windows 7 Home Basic SP1 / 64-bit
RAM = 4.00 GB

Customer service based in India is terrible. They have sent me the wrong part twice
in spite of having every code and tag number plus photos, descriptions, and the actual part number of the assembly I need. Their service is a disgrace. Being polite but useless is not acceptable.cgix

Dell should be ashamed off the lack off customer service. You higher people from other countries so you pay them cheaper. Well Dell this is the United States Of America and we have a lot off people in need off jobs. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for thirty four days. I received a defective device and Dell sent me a replacement which is the wrong device and color. I was on the phone for hours on end. Today I was on the phone for one hour and fifty minutes and still have not had my problem resolved. I am very disgusted by the service I have had with Dell hopefully someone is reading this and will get in contact to rectify this issue.

I have unsuccessfully been trying to process a return for a camera I purchased in November and Returned to dell on Dec. 18, 2015.
I have recently been told the money was credited back to my credit card but I checked with the credit card and it is not there. I also used gift cards for part of the purchase and cannot get that money back until they process the credit card refund. No one is understandable when you call and I have been placed on hold for hours at a time. This is the WORST customer service i have ever received with a company. i cannot believe this is how dell operates. Its disgraceful and i will not be using there products or purchase from their website again
They re fine if you don't have to send anything back, but heaven help you is you do because no one at dell will.

i have a 3 eek old laptop it has bas software windows 10 and u want me to pay to fix new bad laptop software the u put on here i took a 4 yr service with in home service and your techs want fromm 199 to 249 to fix your crap on here i will repot u to the bbb now

On New Years Day, My password to the main dell website was not recognized. It is possible I may have changed it and forgot to write it down. I wanted to order a new printer. I got some person on chat what was hot to take my order, but I wanted my login fixed. The "forgot password" link is supposed to email you instructions to reset your password. I tried that about 20 times, no email. Since Customer Care only works M-F, I had to wait until today, Jan 4 to call. The automated system wanted an order number. I finally got to an operator who transferred me to Dell Financial Services. For what it is worth, I can log in to DFS just fine, but I can't order any products from there. About 10 minutes into hold, someone came on the line and identified themselves as a customer care operator. I started grilling them about how to change my password. He said that he was just the operator and needed to transfer me to customer care. I said he was the third dell person so far today, when was I going to get to customer care? He apologized and threw me back in the hold queue.

My name is Tuan Nguyen, I bought a Dell inspiron 15 5000 series laptop computer on November 20th. The Order Number and Dell Purchase 2015 but the speaker does not working. Thus, I need to return this computer. However, I have called customer care department several time (Friday last week and included Monday & Tuesday of this week) but I have received only phone call transfer from one to another and I was waited on hold more than 4 hours but there is no anyone can help me. Please advise and give me a call and let me know how can I deal with this situation when you get a chance. I am looking forward to hear from you soon.

Run, don't walk away from this place! Dell customer service is INSANE. They put you on hold continuously, for LOOOOONG periods. I was on hold for an hour and a 45 minutes to cancel my order the day after it took and hour and a half to place it. All the representatives are foreign and very difficult to understand and it requires much repeating to figure out what they are trying to say. You can buy a Dell computer at Best Buy for considerably less money none of the hassle. I will never again have anything to do with Dell, even if they gave me a computer for free.

I have gotten the worst support in trying to access download of software that I purchased. After sending numerous emails that the spelling of my first name was wrongly used for the access login to Dell's download locker which locked me out after 3 attempts. I have tried several email attempts to get this corrected but no success. Then after calling I have been placed on hold for over 20 minutes all to try and gain access only to told the department is now closed.

Absolutely dangerous! After hours on the phone with tech., my computer that had no issues before crashed as tech fooled around. Now thay have to wipe it clean (as I lose my pictures and documents) in order to make it workable again. This cost me $235
and now I feel stuck. The whole site is a fraud! They won't even return my money.

I purchased my Dell Laptop in May of 2015 and it already needs repair. I have been trying since the middle of August to get information on how to return the laptop for repair that is under warranty. Every phone number I try tells me all customer service and support agents are busy and try later and then the dial tone, this has gone on for days. Your customer service is horrible, I will never purchase another Dell product, I am surprised that Dell can stay in business hopefully that will change soon.

Your customer service is a joke. You can't reach them and tech support sends you all over and you get no answers. I won my Dell in a drawing and I can say for sure that I would NEVER buy one with my money! This is sent from my HP desk top.

I have a Dell 3750 Laptop with a new Windows 10 installation. After installation, neither the Intel or NVidia graphics adapters work and need to be disabled. After requesting a timeline in order to determine when working drivers will be available (or if there are any workarounds to get a suitable display resolution), I got this disappointing and curt response from Dell:

"I have no information on whether or not Dell is going to be creating any Windows 10 drivers for this system."

This is very disappointing customer-service from Dell. There is nothing wrong with the laptop - it simply needs working video display adapter drivers. An offer to find out from more senior management as to when the drivers are likely to be updated would be a more helpful and a more professional customer service approach.

Your feedback will be appreciated. The first response I got is shockingly bad service quality.

Dell is the worst company I have ever done business with.
They use bait and switch online advertising. Then I have to pay $10.00 a carton to have these fraudulently sent items picked up.
I hope 60 minutes or someone else exposes this company on tv, They have over 5000 complaints in the Better Business Buereau of Austin Texas there home base.

first of all it is NOT easy to find a complaint department for Dell. I am trying to order a new battery for my laptop computer. It is a Dell inspirion that I ordered from you...I am now told that there is NOT a battery available for me to try and reorder one in 3 weeks. WOW!!!!!!! I am going on vacation and as soon as I got the little reminder on the computer that my battery was reaching the end of its life I went online to find out what to do, and then I got the order number and was told that there was not one available..But the computer is an older laptop... I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I am not able to purchase a new computer on a whim. This is not the first problem I have had with Dell, and I will assure you when I do purchase a new computer, it will NOT be a Dell. Now I am going on vacation without a new battery, thanks so much.

I just discovered your wonderful site last week; thank you for providing such a useful and MUCH needed service. My problem: I downloaded several manuals last weekend, but nothing since about Sunday. However, when I try to download anything now I get the "10 downloads per day-check back in 24 hours" message. While this is certainly reasonable (and I'd be perfectly happy to pay for them), it's been way over 24 hours since my last download. I don't understand why this is happening. Please advise. Thanks!

I left my Dell laptop at Dallas Love Field on 09-22-2014. I spoke to these people & one of them told me she had it & she was going to lock it up so nobody could get it. I wrote to Marilynn & I gave her my password & she told me she did have my laptop,later someone at Southwest airlines told me that they had send it to Alabama, they gave the telephone number in Alabama i called them & they told me they never received my laptop.I called SW attendent this is my report .I still haven't received anything including my laptop. I am thinking about going to SW airlines to see if they still have. If not, then I will be contacting the SW airlines security department.Since I am now in Denton,TX I'm hoping to call SW Airlines & speak to the persons that told me they had my laptop locked up.If I don't hear or talk to them I'm hoping that your office can assist me on locating my laptop.my current cell#916-917-0831 I am currently living in Denton,TX with my sister. Hope you guys can help me find my laptop before I drive out there. Thank you for your time & hopefully you guys will call me in the morning after 9am if possible or even later would be good.
