Dell customer service refuses to refund our money despite purchasing an extended 3 year warranty and premium phone service. My son's INSPIRON lap top has a thermal problem. Have had HD replaced twice, mother board 3 times, Fan replaced. Battery replaced twice. He cannot keep up with his school work with his computer always being repaired. I need to return it and DELL refuses to help despite our purchase of extended warranty! Their customer service people passed me around 7 times today and wasted over an hour of my time to end up saying "sorry - read the policy." I intend to put as much as possible into public domain until DELL agrees to refund our money.

Purchased a Dell computer inspiron 3520 service tag 1mf2dv1 Dec 2012 for around $500.00. Hard drive failed, replaced.keypad driver failed, replaced.keypad driver failed again April 2014. October 2014, disk error, will not boot. Called support. The response from tech was " you have bad luck".cost to have it looked at again was quoted at $269.00. Not even a hint of concern nor satisfaction from dell. This computer was used only for access to Internet and to types school projects for my son in 11th grade.

In my recent experience with our Concierge Service, I needed help with using my email - how to be sure I was saving those that I had received and sent as ongoing correspondence. My Serviceman was Ankit Srivastava, for Service . He was very cordial and concerned that I was understanding him well. He logged on to show me how to make folders and sort my emails into them. I am 71 and don't always remember how to do things that I don't do on a daily basis. My daughter was unavailable at the time and I was afraid I was losing the emails as they disappeared from the Drafts list. A big thank you for a job well done to Ankit and followup.

Ordered a product on 4/6/14. Was supposed to be delivered 4/10/14. Called on 4/10/14 and they said there was an error with my order. Mind you they never contacted me to say there was an error. Supervisor said he would waive next day shipping fee and product would now be delivered ASAP. Checked order status this morning, now saying product will be delivered 4/22/14. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I had a horrible experience with Dell sales service in the last few days.
(1) It is very difficult to get anyone by phone or email. They might flag off costumer if they don't have solutions they promised to have.
(2) When I did get someone - they misled me - sent me a quote for different specs (lower quality) than what they mentioned verbally (for same price)
(3) The offer they gave me verbally is not on stock, and seems to never be on stock.
(4) There is very limited range of product - they refuse to order any variants of that limited range. This really against of what Dell is about.
(5) As I understand it there is no way to by-pass the low standard service in the UK and order via the US. And there is no clear overall responsible place to address complaints about low standard sales service.
It seems that the people in Dell UK don't even try to attract costumers (possibly because they have promised deals with some companies and they don't have ambitions beyond that). Their attitude is of the third world - not of an advanced country.
I am forced to give up on buying Dell computer. I will highly recommend any one to do the same.

after 7 days and over 14 hours with technical support, my xps laptop is still not repaired. numerous promises to call me back-- never happens. Dell didn't have a problem taking my money for this $1800 laptop when I bought it. Customer support sucks. I think I'll drive to Round Rock Texas and deliver this system to Michael Dell myself. Dell's board has no idea these things go on? come on, surf the internet.... you do have a computer don't you? is it a Dell?

Terrible service. Unable to get a US based support person. My software has been delayed 2 times and I am looking at 2 weeks to get the software (a download !). The other day I called to inquire and was transferred to voice mail and no one called back, no surprise there. Elevator music for over 20 minutes once again and who knows where I will end up. Bad job by you DELL ! Your customer service fails ! Just got a person, told it should have been sent the same day by email, this is the 3rd time I have been told it is being sent, back on hold.

Not useful at all. I have been on the phone for 45 minunets. I am listening to elevator music. I want to file a complaint with someone in authority. I called Anna hung up on me. I called and Mel told me if he lost me to call 1 800 624 9897 then I was cut off. I think Mel hung up on me. I called and Parkash put me through to elevator music. I have been listening to the elevator music for 25 minunets. I need a human being in authority! Rich Reinhard

After I spent two hours with an indian because after one of your overnight updates knocked me off the internet, my own IT guy told me over the phone in 3 minutes how to fix it.
You idiots need a better group of people on technical support. I spent $1400 of my professional time, who do I bill for it.
This is my last dell computer as I cant deal with the ignoramus tech specialist in india any more.

do not buy from Dell my 2000.00$ computer came not working has had 6 motherboards , 2 hard drives ,2 fans ,2 dvd players ,keyboard , clock ect. have now waited almost 2 months for a replacement system heard every excuse in the book finally shipped it Quess what a lower grade lessor quality system subsitituded surprize i caught it refused it and now they want to see what they should do,,, bait and switch and the worlds worst customer service no matter what Mr Dell says his customer service makes Dell not worth doing business with BE WARNED

Terrible customer service experience. I have been a loyal Dell customer, but never again after the past 2 weeks. They Cancelled my order, told me to wait and check my email, couldn't transfer me to the right dept, couldn't give me any information on the status of my order on the weekend, online chat didn't work, online navigation through website is poor to terrible, where are the phone numbers!?!? Still don't have any information on my $2000 laptop! Where is it? Where is the email Dell? It's been 13 days!!! Make a promise? Keep it!!

keep getting reruns of stupid questions for a week already. with stupid explanations. the most stupid one is that even if they send you a purchase id, it does not mean that they actually took your order. Iused a gift card that was short before expiration date. And now i dont have the gift card and i also dont have the order

so I got a new dell computer it sucks don't work call 4 times to return it 10 to 20 min- on the phone call gets dropped send too emails nothing even the support said its in the computer if they think I'm going to pay for it

I am writing to the Director of Customer Service for Dell about a repair and replacement of my hard drive ( service request number -My computer had to have a re-placement hard drive and then a re-installation of all of my files etc.I was working with the remote assistance of Shyam Khandari.It was a pleasure working with him. He went the extra mile to get my computer in good shape in spite of my very limited computer skills.He is a credit to Dell and deserves recognition.

They stink. VERY VERY bad customer support. You wait forever and they are not willing to help if the item you ordered has sold out while you wait. I just asked what they were willing to do to compensate or if they could offer a similar deal or even a rain check. The chat session was cut off . If you get Rolando ... run !!!
