On New Years Day, My password to the main dell website was not recognized. It is possible I may have changed it and forgot to write it down. I wanted to order a new printer. I got some person on chat what was hot to take my order, but I wanted my login fixed. The "forgot password" link is supposed to email you instructions to reset your password. I tried that about 20 times, no email. Since Customer Care only works M-F, I had to wait until today, Jan 4 to call. The automated system wanted an order number. I finally got to an operator who transferred me to Dell Financial Services. For what it is worth, I can log in to DFS just fine, but I can't order any products from there. About 10 minutes into hold, someone came on the line and identified themselves as a customer care operator. I started grilling them about how to change my password. He said that he was just the operator and needed to transfer me to customer care. I said he was the third dell person so far today, when was I going to get to customer care? He apologized and threw me back in the hold queue.
