Great service from Sam Cowley at NY, Painted Post store. Very customer focused with excellent deportment. Employees like Sam really gives Home Depot a great place to shop over the competitor. I was very impressed with the help. I was pulling together items to build a soccer goal for my kids and his help and recommendations was amazing. I commend him for his patience. Much gratitude.

To whom it may concern, And based on the poor service i recived in store #0907 in west long branch n.j. from store manager Steve Dockhammer it seems that no won is concerned or cares at all. I was a customer for 15 years and spent about 3000.00 to 5000.00 a month until today. From here on in i will be spending my money at lowes. All because of a mistake made by a home depot employee at the return desk put my returns on store credit instead of back on my credit card and instead of making her redo the transaction i allowed it.So now when i went to make a simple return somehow i was placed on a suspended list and told i could not return a defective item and that i would have to contact some outside company called retail equasion . When i explained to the store manager above he acted like i was some kind of criminal when i was actually a loyal customer. I've seen people return garbage like used garage sale signs or worse. Sometimes there are people selling store credit cards in the store isles witch i have reported more then once. i think instead of making it harder for good paying loyal customers to make returns you should try to stop the real criminals. So from here on in i will no longer do business with home depot and i will tell my very large customer base to purchase all there material elsewhere.
Since I'm sure no won cares i doubt anything will be done about it. I would recommend to anybody who reads this to not purchase anything from home depot because they don't stand behind there products and they hide behind some outside company when there is a problem

WENT TO HD on Mopac in Austin on today to get some info on aluminum fencing of which they had one section on display outside. It advised on a note "to see an Associate". This I did inside. The person had no idea about aluminum fencing. Neither did she have any info or contact for more information. I asked her to check on the inventory computer. She showed me XXX chain link fencing but no aluminum fencing . She stated "that's all I got" and "if you want more you just have to go online yourself". So much for customer service by "Beverly" as she identified herself. I consider this zero "Associate" service. We'll be buying several hundred feet from another vendor. Life is too short to deal with so much incompetence! Worse yet, there is no email address to reach the Corporate Office. They are shrouding themselves in silence. It would be good for the CEO Craig Menear to read some of these comments.

Well I thought I was going to make a comment that would make a difference but seeing all the negative comments already posted.. I would just be one of the many, pretty sad as consumers our choices of places to buy material is being limited to places like home depo, if anyone is listening out there in cooperate good customer service and help is hard to find apparently.
I called Home depo Los Angeles store located at 2055 n Fig I started trying to get help 10:05 Am was on the phone waiting for someone to get back on the line by 10:30 I was some how disconnected called back to speak with the store manager place on hold again, I finally gave up I will need to give start paying Lowes more attention not sure if it will be any better but I will find out, because HD is not working I have a HD account I have been a good customer for about eight years, What is happening with Home Depo good help is hard to find.

WORST!!!!, Home Depot Will not call me back, They refer me to an outside company. They g=have done a gutter job on my house. The sales person who no longetr works there gave me a false payment issue and Home depot has penalized me and wont talk to me. Like a bunch of cowards. I am waiting for a call from Robin Kilgore, he will not call me and no one will. I am gonn a reach out the the CEO Craig A. Menear and see if this how his company is trained to treat customers.

After waiting and waiting to help me lift one bag of mulch, I left the store in Taylor. There wasn't one person on the floor to help. I called to complain the girl I talked to was very nice, but I was put on hold for a long time and finally hung up. We spend a lot of money there' We like to shop there it is very convenient for us.BUT, All I needed was someone to lift the bag into my cart. I am 79 yrs old. Not only me, but there was 4 other women that was waiting for help. One older lady finally a ladder cart and climbed up to get stone, throwing it into her cart. It wouldn't have been to good if she had fallen. Still NO one on the floor to help. Poor service.

Due to having lost me military issued identification cards, and the fact all records for those years of my service in Korea were lost in a fire, I could only be issued a Certification of Military Service. This was denied by the local store and I was advised by your home office I would no longer eligible for daily discounts, but eligible only for special days. No damage done as I just left things lie and went to Lowe's to finish my shopping. With my loss of documents and the fire loss of all records I felt lucky to get the Certification of Military Service I received. Think I did all I could do under the circumstance.

I just like to take a moment to tell you that Home Depot is no longer one of my favorite stores to go to because the Carlisle Home Depot is the worst customer service department I have ever seen. I spoke with the manager of their name Bill he was rude I spoke with the customer service person name more in pro desk he was rude $3000 and Mark and they told me that they would continue on doing business with me for the service of 15% because I was intending to spend $15,000 with Home Depot. at this point it was snowing called but I was dropped off on the side of my street where I live which is 400 to 500 feet from my home I'm 60 years old and I had 90.boxes 18 inch floor tile and he told me that the machine had no gas in it and could not run it to my house I called the store and I got into a heated discussion with a protest name Mark rude rude rude then Bill distortion card manager call me and told me that he was sorry that should never happen. I continued to purchase items from the store one day I went in there you were getting your percentage off on anything else because you had to spend another 2500 dollars to get 15% off I said that is not what you told me when I was purchasing all the items that I needed to purchase again Home Depot in my book will never ever ever see another dollar of mine

I called customer service once the delivery guy did want to deliver my washer and dryer. March 18th 2015. I was told it takes up to 7 to 10 business day to process my return. One rep told me March 24 the request was sent now it take 3 to 5 business days. On March 31st that marks 5 business days. March 31st I was told it was process on March 27th. All because a driver didn't want to walk up the stairs which I stated for instructions to come to the back door to only go up one flight of stairs. I have yet to receive my 9 hundred and something dollars back in my account and my bank does not see anything in the making. April 1st I will be talking to my attorney because it did not take 3 weeks for yall to take my money. Very pissed off

I am a very upset Customer with Home depot and the contractors that they employ. I was scheduled to get windows installed in my home on 03/28/2015. This was scheduled through the contractors at least 4 weeks in advance. The young-lady from the company called me one week in advance and stated "we have you scheduled for 03/28/2015 between 8am and 12pm but the contractor has a LARGER installment job and we need to RESCHEDULE you the same day but from 12pm to 2pm". I stated "that is fine as lone as the contractor come to do the installation. I took off from my job, rearranged things in my house waiting for the contractor. At approximately 1535hrs. I contacted the contractors office and the the young-man who inspects your house after the installation stated " I tried to call you today 03/38/2015 this morning. Why would you call me the day of the installation to tell me you cant install my windows the same day of the installation. What kind of business is Home Depot conducting with contractors that are not reliable. Also why would you tell a customer we have a LARGER INSTALLATION JOB so basically me as a Consumer, took that statement as though my smaller job is not as important as the LARGER JOB. I would think VERY UPSET CUSTOMER

While your instore are so very helpful, I really expected more help with an online purchase. I placed an online order, received the wrong size air filers, and had to pay UPS to pick-up my merchandise as I am homebound. I spoke with someone named Rick who said if my returned order was found to be incorrect, any UPS fees included the pick-up fee would be refunded. The product has been received by you and the statement by Rick was not true. Expected more from fro a great store like yours. I am out $9.40 approximately.

One of the worst customer service, I have ever seen in my life with this corp ripoff. When we never receive a bill from the Last billing cycle and when the bill never arrived. I now that the weather was pretty bad the last couple of weeks. All my other accounts says we understand we're you coming and waiver the late fee and said they were sorry about that action. It is shocking to see corp giants like the company don't care about its customers. I think the president should get in this issue.

To start this story I am a vietnam vet I want to your store 99th ave to buy bags of dirt for a rock garden when I ask the lady in the garden shop if they gave discounts to vets her answer was if you have the right card, I said I have my VA card she said that won't work I said have my hat with my units emblem on it she said anybody can buy a hat. I said thank you and went to find the manager after about a 10 minute wait he came he said I needed to be active duty to get a discount I left and went down the street to lowe's and all I had to do is show my VA card I they give me a 10% discount. I guess homedepot is like all the rest who don't give a crap about us vets. your people are rude and I will not be back. lowe's treats vets with the respect because we fought for this country.

order was for kitchen appliances during the process wanted to get appliance installation so I ask for reschedule of appointment on the day of arrival because my installation guy never showed up. When to home depot in woodbridge va to ask the to charge installation for my next delivery time. clerk said that I would have to cancel my first order and she would make me a new one and I still could receive my appliance on my delivery date with installation. They clerk tried to cancel it on the computer but it would not do it so she call the delivery office to cancel my order. I look at the computer she was using and it said I could not cancel my order but she did it anyway by telephone now I am out appliances and have to start all over again this was so easy to do if only the employees know how to use the computers in the area that they work in and be trained properly.

I bought carpet from the Home Depot recently in Duluth mn. I am telling everyone I know to avoid the same mistake I made! The carpet I bougt was not expensive but I was told by the salesman it was of good quality. When it came to install day the crew showed up 5 hours late to do a whole house installation. The job the did was horrible and very unproffessional! They did not leave my home until late evening and left a mess in our driveway. When Home Depot sent someone from their staff out to inspect they told me it was the worst install they had seen and then also said our carpet was not trimmed and could not be fixed would have to replace. For the stores benefit the carpet was labeled defective. And the inspector from the store told me he would not let them put the same back in. I called the install office and they were very willing to do whatever needed to be down to make this terrible mess better. However, the store was a different story. The assistant manager I worked with told me to come back and pick out different carpet. I told him that I felt an upgrade was do to me at no extra cost for all y trouble and the time I had to take off work. He said fine come down Saturday and pick it out but I can't have you pick something that is like $4.00 a foot. I agreed and asked that he make sure his staff was aware of my situation so they would know why I was there and could help me. He said they were. Got to the store and NO one know what I was talking about. I picked a carpet that was $1.34 a foot more than my original because one of the sales persons told me to stay away from the back wall. Which is were my first carpet came from. Funny no one said that the first time. After over two hours in the store I settled on a carpet. They wrote it up and sent me home thinking everything was ok. Now they say no upgrade no satisfaction for the horrible experience. But I still have to take another day off to have them remove this rotten carpet and too bad about the mess in my house. I would not tell anyone to buy from Home Depot. They don't care about satisfing the customer at all.

Over 4 weeks ago our 11/2 y/o freezer/refrigerator stopped freezing and was running constantly. The store (HomerGlen) we bought the refrigerator from said they could not find it in their system and didn't have time to look for it. We talked to the manager and she found it and that we had bought an extended warranty which is what we thought. In the several day it took for HD to confirm our order we call a repairman out paid $70 for him to tell us to junk this refridg. The compressor was shot. After about a week withe several calls to HD and the insurance company they scheduled a repairman to come out (another few days) and after two visits he said it was the compressor. Now several weeks later (no freezer/refridg) the repairman called (only after many calls to the purchase store manager) I have your part and the company now gave us permission to install it.
I cannot believe that HD contracts with such an incompetitive company. The HD store manager was very helpful and kept us aware of what was happening

I Went To Your Anahiem Store On Lemon St. Had To Walk All Around To Find Some One To Help Me , Wait For 8 Mins. Before Any Would Help Me, Everyone In That Store Won't Look At You, Because They Think That You Are Going To Ask Them A Question After A While A Man Came Over And Ask If I Needed Help And If I Was The One Pushing The Button ,i'm The Only One Standing There , I Had A Heater Part In My Hand And His Reply Was , What Is That., Go To A Parts Store They Can Help You.. All I Can Say Is Wow What Bad Service , Need To Train Your Workers To Help People ,even If They Don't Know The Parts They Still Can Be Friendly
