Worst service I received friom a car rental company on Kauai on 7-17-2015. Employee Ben need to retrain on customer service . Unprofessional. First and last time doing business with this company. Should have listen from friends and family

24 Hour service HUH ?How about answering your phones on a non-business day. Don't advertise 24 Hour service when you don't have it. A small crew will help you greatly improve customer relations on none business days.

Hertz cheated and deceived my 80 year old grandmother out of $95.00.
I will never use Hertz again, and I will tell everyone that listens.

I had a reservation to rent a car in Monterrey airport yesterday morning. No cars available and the employee there did not care at all. Horrible Service!

I want to give a shout put to one of the bus drivers at Hertz who picked me up at the Delta terminal at LaGuardia for being so uplifting and professional. Not sure of his name, but I know he is German background and believe his name was Wolfgang.

I arrived in Orlando today and had a reservation with your company. It took over an hour to get my car. The line was very long and very slow. You had three employees working the counter and a very long line. Your company has turned a exciting day into a bad one very fast!

We rented a car, and had a problem with the outlets, came to the Hertz in Barstow, Ashley Soutar quickly attended us, and fixed our problem. Great service, and quick.

I was expecting an apology for my rental from 1/27-2/4... I rented a Mitsubishi Mirage, and when I dropped it off on the morning of the 4th at LAX (full, but that's another matter), I asked the woman at the rental drop off to notate that I had been unable to lock the car for the last four days of my stay in Los Angeles.

Instead I got a letter telling me that when my car was dropped off, the tank was noted as "full" by the Hertz employee... Which it was. But when the car was serviced, it needed 7.83 gallons of gas to be rented again. And I was charged over $77.00 to fill the tank.

This is AN IMPOSSIBILITY. I filled the tank about four miles from LAX.

The Mirage only has a capacity of NINE POINT THREE gallons. How can a car that was read as full by both me AND THE HERTZ EMPLOYEE at LAX suddenly need 7.83 gallons of gas?

I have now called and emailed the address that the customer service rep gave me (TWICE!) with the receipt from the gas station. Now two weeks into this scam and have not heard back from Hertz. This is complete fraud. I am pursuing every legal option available.

my husband and I have done business with hertz, river dale rd., west springfield, mass. Nicholas Jorge has always been most helpful, very kind, highly knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He is the reason we do business with Hertz.

Never again will we use Hertz, we rented a car in Vancouver B.C. Canada, and never had occasion to drive at night. When we did it was heavy fog, and rain, and we found out the car had no headlights all this on a mountain road, my wife and I both had to put our heads out the window to try to see the road. Took that car to Victoria airport to exchange it, we got no apology, no discount, nothing, all the guy daid was oh, Vancouver wouldn`t know the difference anyhow.

Would not ever use hertz again based on experience in Sedona Az on 2/12/15. It was a little after closing, mgr was still there and would not "reboot" his computer so we could rent a car to get back to Mesa. If it wasn't for Enterprise, we would of had to find a motel, stay over night etc. Poor business! Having been in business my self I was a little astounded. Called your customer service and couldn't understand the guy on the other end. Non wonder you have such poor ratings! Have a good day!

Made a guaranteed truck reservation a the hickory, nc hertz location . The manager failed to get the truck that was promised . I called from the location, and made a busted reservation, in regards to this. A week later 1-21-2015 I was charged $50.00 cancellation
Few and received no call from manager Malinda. Called the billing dept, and inquired about this charge, and was told that I didnt show up to pick up the truck, this is a "lie." The manager at this location is terribly mistaken if she thinks that, she can lie on me and make it my fault that she can't do her job. In addition to this the Hertz corporation can't be following protocol , because I should not have been charged $50.00 after I made a "busted" reservation
Call with an agent at the location hwy 70. This same agent looked for a truck for me. I will never use this location in hickory n.c. And I live in this town of hickory.

I had my insurance company make a reservation for me. My husband is disabled and the accident we were in left my car undrivable. Upon borrowing a vehicle since Hertz refused to come pick us up stating there was not enough staff, we found out they refuse to give us a car unless we pay $50 deposit, which I don't have. I explained about my husbands disability and that he has surgery in 2 weeks and that I needed a vehicle I have been told by both the branch and the corporate office "Sorry to hear but that's our policy." I will NEVER use Hertz. I will deal with Enterprise which treats people like they are people and not a walking wallet.

Dear Madam or Sir:
Re: (Service/Purchase/Rental on December 29, 2014

On December 29, 2014, I purchased the following service:
I am on business\tourist Visa and here in US for a short visit. I booked a rental car online from Hertz, located in Downtown - Houston, using PayNow. Details, Rental Agreement - 003658911 Document Nbr - 914002634963 Date - 12/29/2014 Renter - RAJBHAR SANJAY There was 15% discount offer on prepaid rentals so I went for it to save some money for a trip to San Antonia next day. But, when I went to pick the car, the Hertz representative told me that if my friend needs to drive, we need to pay another $15 + $20 for insurance. So, we thought that doing a fresh booking will be better option. So, I cancelled the booking and did a new booking. We had our fun trip and returned to Houston. Well, next day I realized that $there was a 25.2 has been charged to my card as cancellation fee. I wanted to ask Hertz that how they justify $25.2 charge for providing nothing and unfortunately there's NOONE to explain that to me! There is no real person to address the grievance of customers - Thanks to IVRs. I think Hertz cheated me by charging $25.2 and I recommend "NOT TO USE PayNow" Details for transaction on my card: 12/29/2014 - DEB CARD WITHDRAWAL - POS #613003 *POS* HERTZ PPAY OK HERTZ RENT-A-CAR HERTZ REN

Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied for the following reason(s):
The Customer Care only said what was there in the Online Agreement which pops up before proceeding for payments '“ which didn't tell anything about the amount of Cancellation fees. I feel completely cheated by Hertz and I feel that PayNow is booby trap.

To resolve the problem, I would like the following to take place:
I would like a full refund. I want my money to be returned and a compensation for all the time I lost in frustrations and lodging complaints.

I have enclosed copies of my records related to this situation.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem, and will wait until 01/10/2015 before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the Better Business Bureau. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at 832-908-1550.

Sincerely
Sanjay Rajbhar

Terrible experience with SLC Airport station. After a confirmed reservation for 12-26 arriving on southwest from LA at 6:30 pm, That an SUV confirmed for my booking will provided with name of the manager Mr. goodman mentioned on the confirmation. The manger after waiting for 40 minutes he appeared to say that those vehicles are on high demand and I have to pay extra 400 dollars a day. He admitted that reservation made a mistake but was unwilling to accept responsibility. At the end I had, not having any other choice but to accept the offered vehicle. This left me totally dismayed with this bad service even to a Platinum member. And demand an explanation for this screw up.

I find my experience at Hertz to be the WORST EXPERIENCE I ever had. I don't think that I would ever use this company again. I was given a car badly in need of repair. Also the inspection sticker was not in good condition. It looked as if it had been removed, which would be questioned by law enforcement. It was raining that day and when I tried to stop, It pulled to the left extremely bad. I basically was told to find another vehicle on my own. Being given phone numbers to several other Hertz locations to see if they had another vehicle to my satisfaction. This I don't feel was my responsibility. When I returned the vehicle, I was refused any kind of paperwork showing that I had returned it. I was told the manager was not in to close me out but I should have been given something other than word of mouth. I contacted Progressive to help me resolve this matter. KANESHIA DAVIS was very very rude even to the point of just HANGING UP THE PHONE in my face without even resolving the problem. I feel that she has no place in customer service. I surely won't be back or refer anyone to Hertz . Reservation # H 19018263 on 120/01/14

Nov. 13 , at 12:30 until 1:10 we had a 40 minute wait at the Phoenix Arizona Hertz car rental. All kiosk were down but to make matters worst there were 2 hertz staffers at the entrance podium folding maps and another behind the counter in front of her computer eating. Very poor customer service, this is the first time we used Hertz. Bad first impression.

At Phoenix ... 20 people in line... Two customer service reps about ten minutes or more per person... aLL kiosks broken for self serve.... Really????!

Hertz is perhaps the worst company I have ever dealt with by far. The bottom line is that they have overcharged me by over $200 USD and have overcharged by insurance company. Sounds like insurance fraud to me.

To whom it may concern,

I walked into the Hertz Rental Service on October 21, 2014, Tuesday afternoon and was treated as if I had mud on my face. I approached and Afro American, Seanna to ask her a question about my IPad that was mistakenly left in the Rental Mini Van my dad and I rented out for Oct 17th thru Oct 20th (for the weekend). I was quite surprised that this young lady was treating me so RUDELY. She gave me major attitude as if I had mud on my face. Then she turned to her co-worker, Carlos, asked him a question and then she asked if he would go ahead and help me. That is not the way customers should be treated in any place of business. I would like an sincere apology for her arrogant and ignorant behavior. My parents use this company frequently and never experienced a problem EVER like this, which made me extremely puzzled to see and have to experience such unprofessional treatment. I can be reached

I have been trying to get in touch with someone who can here my complain, but no body is able to listen. Since I rent in Hertz, NEVER was so disappointed about the car condition. Is a shame.

Rented a car from Hertz in Georgetown, SC...a 2012 Ford Focus. After 30 miles car would not start at all. Hood latch broken so hood would not open. Car towed away as tow truck driver/mechanic opened the hood with pliers. Car wouldn't start despite 12 volt jump. Mechanic/tow driver said car had major problems. Car had close to 60,000 miles on it and was a piece of junk. Despite numerous phone calls to Hertz, no remedy offered. Missed first day of new job! Credit card charges left on account despite requests to remove. Customer Service (what Customer Service) was a complete joke! Beware of renting from Hertz!

I called Thursday night. I was told someone would call me back on Friday. Needless to say it is Saturday and no one has called.
I will never use hertz again. I will tell everyone who will listen about how unprofessional this company is.

I need to rent a car, one-way, from Nashville, TN to Springfield, IL, picking up the car at 8AM Saturday the 30th of August. The Springfield, IL office closes at 4PM. I was told we can drop the car off after 4PM, it will be checked in Sunday when they open at 10AM. However, they said they would charge an additional day. So in effect, unless I make the trip in under 8 hours, I pay for 2 days.

Not good. Please call me,
Stephen Solorio
