Infuriating that technical support and customer service are in the Phillipines during normal business hours. If you ask where they are located, they say they aren't allowed to say. Unacceptable. Connections are awful. Privacy is an issue. I bought my products in the US from a US company and I live here. Customer service/technical support should be here, at least during normal business hours.

Horrendous customer service. I placed an order for nearly $1,000 of equipment and paid for overnight shipping. I called the customer support number and was on hold for 15 minutes. Used the 'chat' and wasted 20 minutes with a person who kept asking for my customer information and finally told me that I need to call customer support. With out a telephone line to suuupport itsimpossile ( or it just feels that way.)there is obviously a second problem that resulted from the first problem reported and so cold corrected this past week. I have no call how I'm supposed to get a hold of you without such a number except for going through sales and that's a loss and knowledge to sales because they are now asking if your secretary receptionist. There is a serious need to be able to get to tech-support quality tech-support at other times then during normal business hours. Television doesn't shut down at 5 o'clock in evening. Nor do people who watch television watch it till 5 o'clock in evening.please have someone from tech-support get back to me as soon as possible 215-245-1404 thank you for your help in advance.

Having been a Tivo customer since the beginning of Tivo, I called customer service to find out what the best new machine would be for my needs. I spent an hour on the phone choosing, reworking my subscription etc.

I chose to spend $185 to purchase the newest Tivo Roamio so I could watch Amazon Prime and Netflix through the Tivo DVR. I have been a happy and proud champion of Tivo from the beginning I was very excited to receive the machine.

When I got it I called Tivo to have them help me with setup since I have Direct TV. After all that I was told Tivo Roamio is NOT COMPATIBLE with Direct TV!!!! WHAT?!??!?!

The new Tivo machines are only cable compatible.

This is incredible disturbing.

If I want to see Netflix or Amazon Prime on my TV I have to give up Tivo entirely and use the lame Direct TV DVR (which I hate).

So in effect Tivo is forcing me to NOT be a Tivo customer!

This is the lamest most non user friendly thing I have ever encountered. From a company that until today I would have touted as one of the best for customer service and product.

I am SO disappointed and shocked and the ease with which Tivo is willing to lose customers. And by the way Direct TV and Tivo used to be partners.

I can't imagine what this is about but it is really stupid and is incredible bad business. To blatantly say out loud that you don't care about an entire group of loyal customers is a slap in the face that does not feel good.

customer service rep (cs) was excellent. i called with a question about why amazon prime wasn't available from a tivo network channel (as is netflix, amazon instant video, hulu plus, etc.). the csr explained that it wasn't currently supported. i would like to see it added as i do not want to pay for videos that i can get for free from another device (like sony blue ray player with wifi or hardwire cat 5 connection). thanks...

I agree. I bought my Tivo series2 dvr in Dec of 2009. After the July switch from analog to digital cable, I cannot record 2 shows at a time and cannot watch another channel while recording. Also the channels don't always change properly so the wrong shows are being recorded. I called Tivo today and was informed that my Tivo is obsolete because of the change from analog to digital cable. Interesting since Tivo assisted me in the channel list change from "cbl" to "box" but didn't inform me of the fact that it would be obsolete. They use the phrase "Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but you could always upgrade to the Tivo Premier." Really? Will I be reimbursed anything? NOPE! I am reporting them to the BBB and we need a class-action lawsuit against Tivo!

Tivo is sell cable equipment that is not digital ready. After contacting them they do nothing about it. I bought my tivo series2 at the end April of 2009 and no where did it say it wasn't digital ready. This is passed the mandatory deadline that all tv's, cable boxes, etc being sold be digital ready or properly labeled. I purchased the lifetime service agreement and they refuse to give me a digital compliant receiver or transfer my lifetime agreement to a new tivo that i would purchase. I am look for a class action lawsuit on this matter and I have also filed a complaint to my District Attorney's office. Do not buy any Tivo's they do not back up what they sale!

Terrible customer service!!!! I was double-billed for a year of service and Tivo refuses to give me a refund. I paid for a year of service in advance in order to recieve a lower price and Tivo continued to also charge my credit card the monthly fee. When I discovered the double billing and called them I was refused a refund. This is a very unethical company. They won't give out phone numbers or names of supervisors who are authorized to handle complaints. I am going through my states Attornee Generals Office to try and get this resolved.

Terrible return policy. I've had my Tivo for 4 months. My Tivo has gone out on a regular basis. I get a grey screen with a message "Searching for Signal". Usually I have to reset the system (which is a very slow process) the picture usually comes back after that. Well yesterday it didn't. I called Customer Service they said that it was a software problem they were trying to fix but they did not know when the issue would be resolved. My only option is to send it back losing all my saved programs. If that is not enough I have to buy a new Tivo unit then send mine back for a refund or Send my Unit in first and wait for Tivo to send me a new unit.

I have a problem with cable cards and television guide. All the channel conicide but Cox Communication Movie tier doesn't match. There is about three hours difference in the two guides. I find it impossible to contact Tivo by email. Why

My security camera use to show on channel 117 before I connected the Tivo.now with tivo my TV don't go pass channel 113
and the 117 is the designed channel for the camera. can someone help me with this problem

Tivo is TERRIBLE. Their Billing practices are as unethical as AOL's was. They will eventually have a class action law suit brought against them just like aol.
