PSEG is unable to be coming tatted or giving any information to customers without power in my area. Called and PSEG answered to say the lube us busy. Tried the app, but it would not allow me to log in. Asked for support to log in to ask for a status check on our power being restored. When documentation was submitted, PSEG website said something was wrong on their end and to try back later. Used my cell phone to report an outage by texting. The website states that it will update in the status if you type "stat". We did, but received a response saying something was wrong and to call the customer service line, which does not pick up! Finally got a nice gentleman on the phone after waiting 30 min. He said nothing was updated on the status since the storm so he could not give us an update. Very unsatisfied customer!!!!

Terrible customer service.
My gas was shut off. Upon paying bill, I scheduled for tech to come turn gas back on. 24hrs passed so I called back. I then found out that someone had to be home so I rescheduled again for following day and gave # for tech to call. the very nice tech called and said he there so I flew home. he waited the 10-15 for me. we I meet up with tech he said he had to get into house because he had to turn gas on slowly as to not mess up anything. that's great and all but I didn't bring purse and house keys I just had someone drive me home thinking I just had to be there incase house blows up. soooo again I had to reschedule for another day. I tried wed and thurs and was on hold over 20 minutes so I hung up. I just called now at 3:30 and was informed that there is 12-24 hr turn around time and that I cant just schedule for tomorrow and I have to call back again tomorrow. this experience has showed me that pseg's service is even worse than the cable company and the 1st chance I get to get another source of energy that will knock pseg off im jumping for it.

It Is Impossible, I Repeat Impossible To Speak To A Pse&g Human Being!!!!!!! I Have Tried Various Methods For Days Without Success. I Wrote To Customer Service Days Ago, Received A Number, That Someone Would Call Within 7 Days Which Have Now Elapsed. I Am Ready To Contact The Public Utilities Commission About Your Lack Of Service.

If you can get customer service on the line, they are rude and condescending. Tell you to hold and never pick up. I truly have nothing but disdain for this monopoly that truly doesn't give a damn about the public.

I have been in florida for 15 days I arrived home to see my lawn and my driveway covered with tree limbs with a note from pseg saying I called for this removal service. since I have not been home for 14 days I don't know what there talking about.they say im responsible for the clean up. my neighbors checked my house after the storm and everything was ok. they have the wrong address on the ticket I live alone and don't know what to do. iguess ill call my lawyer

The PSE&G customer service are very rude.....I don't understand how some people get customer service jobs with no people skills. I would either mail or go somewhere else to pay my bill.

Never got my bill for September. It usually comes in an email to me around the 25th of the month. Every time I called for customer service the wait was 45 Minutes???? Thats ridiculous! But its always that way! When are you guys going to hire more people to cut down on the hold times.

PSE&G . They r so careless. If there was another electric company to choose, i would select them over this company. I was pass due $732 & i paid $500. 6 days after i paid the $500 they came to me house to turn off electric. i told them i do not have $ so they shut it off. They do not care i fu have a baby in the house and it was summer of course so it is very hot. i spoke to customer service & they say i'm not qualified for monthly plan since i did not keep up with it last time. The lady on the phone told me either i pay the entire $232 or remain w/o electric & they r not responsible if anything happen to my baby. It is disappointing how i tried my best & made a big payment & they still came over 6 days later & turn off my power. It shows you how ruthless these people can be.They do not care if u have a baby or elderly in the house. They think $ grows from the tree & there are no other bills to pay in the house.

This company sucks, my bill has been the same every month for 15 years give or take a few dollars here and there. I just got a bill for $1100.00 REALLY??? How does it go from 250 to 300 to 1100.00 in one month and then you have no one in customer service on the weekends. YOU SUCK

Your phone system is terrible and meter reader just walked into my backyard unannounced and I was told meter was pseg property and he had right he didn't even knock on my door as if he was entitled to walk through my fence and I was given an attitude terribly unprofessional and unacceptable next time gate will be locked and appt must be set or you roll not be granted entry end of story Angered homeowner

I have a question .....

I live in society hill , cherry hill nj. I have a neighbor who brags that their PSE&G bills are never higher then 79.00$. With worry free contracts....... Sometimes their bill is even 49.00$ how is this possible????

I would really appreciate if you looked into this matter . Our surcharges are more then his bill !!!!!

Impossible to call back to reach anyone or follow up. errors in parts order impossible to correct. Promised call backs never occurred.

The worst service. The heater was making noise. Service man turned it off and said he would come back tomorrow. Record cold and blizzard tonight and my parents are 87. R U KIDDING ME? Shawn ID told me there are no supervisors to assist me and hung up on me! LOVELY....

Well I just arranged a service call for two days out via the phone voice service ... they id'd the part was in... gave me 1st date available ... I change that without a problem ... all is good with me an PSE&G

it is impossible to contact you either by telephone or email. You have the guts to put me up for collection in an account that has been closed for over 1 year. On your incompetent customer service line your recording said I had a zero account balance. When I tried to get a person to speak with, your computer said you would call me back within 8 minutes, which did occur. However your representative said he would have to connect me to another department. Then i get a message that your reps were busy and I would be on hold for 20 minutes. What kind of operation do you run?

Not very good and yet I'm the one being forced to go through all this hassle because of your incompetence.

An Air Conditioning story -

First Worry Free Tech came 2 weeks ago and said the outside fan/compressor unit needed a new fan. He never came inside. New fan it was. And no help during the hottest week of the year (July 15-19, 2013).

One sweltering week later - Second Worry Free tech comes out and says: "Compressor is shot."

Day later, a real technician comes and says compressor is fine, adds refrigerant and life is much cooler.

Going to begin cancelling all of my Worry Free Contracts.

Extremely poor customer service. To schedule an appliance repair often takes weeks to get an appointment. Waited a week for the rep to some out the first time and he needed to order a part,often the case understandably. However,the part arrives two days later directly to my home but PSEG does not allow you to schedule the next appointment for the installation of the part until it is received. I called immediately upon receiving and now have to wait 9 days for them to return. So although I pay aprox $65.00 per month or $800 per year for my worry free service on appliances,It is far from worry free. Useless unless you can wait weeks for repair

No help. Wanted to know elctrical energy rate. Live operator did not know. Told me to click on the parrot on PSE&G website. Couldn't find a parrot, only an owl. Cust.Service said she didn't know which bird it was!

This is one of the most horrible customer service I have ever dealt with. I called in the morning and for the 1st hour the didn't even put me on hold due to "high call volumes" After that I got hold of a rep in within 2 min hold (high call volumes huh). Anyways that wasn't the bad part. I was a new customer and they set up my account. They guy who was setting it up didn't even bother double checking if he had it right. I went to set up my online account and something was wrong (either account number or name). I to called them back and now the rep confirmed it was a wrong first name spelling and I would have to personally go to a customer service center to get it fixed as they can't do it over the phone!?!? WTF are you freaking kidding me? You can set up my account negligently an I have to waste my time to get it fixed? Not even a damn apology. PSE&G your customer service sucks!

We have to get competition out here because pseg makes demands that are not capable of being met. When you try to work thing out payment wise with them, they are rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to compromise. The "man" who came to shut us off today, and I use the word man loosely showed up while my husband was here and then scurried away without doing anything. When my husband left for work within 30 seconds the " man" returned and shut us off. I ran outside and pleaded. I am in the process of getting energy assistance(for anyone who knows this process takes months and months) I've already been approved for my govt assistance but somehow the energy assistance got messed up. Try explaining that to a pseg customer service representative!!! They could give two flying you know whats. Pseg is supposed to knock to let u know they're there and give you the option of payment, this "man" would not do that. I asked him to wait while I called them and I asked him to wait two minutes for my husband to return and of course he refused and literally ran away to his car. So here I sit in the dark hoping to rectify this situation before this evening and before my son returns from school to see there's no power. We need competition and pseg needs better employees!!!!

PSE&G's call center agents are horrible.They clearly hate there jobs and have to training whats so ever.If i were the manager there I would be horrified to know my employees are treated there customers the way they do. When the agents pick up the phone they are still talking to each other and don’t acknowledge you for about 30 seconds. They have no idea how to work there systems and when asked question they say it may or may not be on your next statement. Really? We do need competition for PSE&G because they SUCK!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I spoke to PSE&G customer service &
scheduled an appointment for today between 12:00
& 4:00 to have a dryer part for which we have been waiting since November installed.
After we were told in November a part had to be ordered we waited weeks before calling to check on the status of the part. First response, part not yet available,
next part no longer available, next part is available.
I asked the repair man who wanted to come on Thursday to reschedule for Friday & it was confirmed

Called today(Friday) after no one showed up & was told the order was cancelled. By whom?

Waiting for PSEG to fix my boiler with their "Worry Free" plan.



Sofar a day and half we are freezing here and off and on phone for hours.
