I am trying to contact GE Money Bank to find out about a lien on a motorcycle that is stored in one of my Units that has been foreclosed on. Ridiculous that I cannot contact someone without paying $20.00. What a disgrace.

Um, those of you railing at GE in the comments--this is NOT their site. This is a contact info site that happens to list them and their contact info. You'll probably want to repeat you complaints where GE can actually see them and respond (like on THEIR website for instance). Good luck to you all. I have accounts with them but thankfully have not had the issues you're describing. I just can't get in online to make my payments because the Next or Submit buttons don't work. :-P

They contacted me saying that we were behind by $592.66, and needed to pay this amount IMMEDIATELY to bring our account current. When I questioned this they got belligerent. I found out we only needed to pay $64.00, I might add that the reason it wasn't paid was because they changed the mailing address on us, so it came to the wrong office. I spoke with Neena, her supervisor Molly and Molly's supervisor who would not give me his name. I called back and I spoke with somebody named Leon, who told me that it was a complete misunderstanding, that they thought that I had asked for a total payoff. However, they would send me a letter of apology, which turned out to be a form letter, in which they did NOT admit their guilt.

On june 27, I had a cd come due at another bank. On june 28th called GE Bank and "opened" a 1 year cd at 1.04. I was then informed that this money could be transferred without my sending a check and I authorized same. After giving all the information re heirs, bank with current CD I then got a loan number and confirmation on the transfer......On the following friday night received notice from GE Bank that I had 0 in my account but thanks for opening it. WHen I called I was shocked to learn that there was no way the CD $ could be transferred the girl made a mistake. No I ran to the other bank where the CD was turned over and lost money by withdrawing it as it was penalized and had no CD. I feel that the bank is responsible for my loss and want to email them. I called the president but have not heard from them yet. I also received a "thank you" yesterday for opening an account with them and having "trust" in their bank.......

I have been contacted by this company many times saying my loan was approved, But would have to show proof I could make the payments in the amount of $170 on a green dot money pack card, at which time I did, they took the money and never deposited the Loan amount....

GE refused to connect me with a live person. I have NO account with GE! They have sent me a request for information regarding a credit application I have not made. I wanted to tell them I want NO credit, and find out where the request came from. I went through about 8 prompts on this phone number, and kept receiving a demand for my account number or SS number, which I did not provide. So I NEVER got through to a live person.

At 3:17:06 on 1/2/2013 I sent you an email as follows:

I have been receiving 15+ telephone calls per day, 7 days per week from (800) 945-6596 which has been traced to "GE Money". I have NO RELATIONSHIP with GE Money and even if I did and somehow owed them money, this amount of telephone calls is harrassment and is in violation of applicable laws. At this time I must demand that you Cease and Disist from calling (631) 968-8478 again. Continued calls will be met with legal action. Thank you.

Apparently, this made no difference to you as I have aleady received three (3) more calls from you today as follows: 9:08am, 11;17am and 11:43am.

Mr./Ms. Collector,
This letter comes in response to your repeated attempt to contact me regarding an alleged debt.

I demand that you cease and desist from any further attempt to contact me.

Please be aware that I will continue to document all attempts to communicate with me with respect to the alleged debt, and that any further such attempts will constitute a violation of the FDCPA. I will not hesitate to report violations of the law to the New York State State Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and the national Better Business Bureau.

I do not understand what part of CEASE AND DESIST you do not comprehend, but please be advised that this is your final warning. Thank you.

Initially,I borrowed @ $358.00, the same hour, realized I needed a bit more and utilized @ another $236.00 to about$584.00. In the "promo period". By the time I was 1/2 way through the payments,my interest had almost doubled, bringing my total up to @ $648.00,now more than my initial loan. This happened three times until my "loan" total(mostly interest),was over $1300.00. I took out an insurance policy on it just in case the economy took a nose dive, and it did! They would not honor my default insurance(of over a year's payments)because my total hours worked were less than 30 per week (I was at 20-24 and collecting partial unemployment). That total is now stuck in limbo as an unpaid balance and has screwed up what credit I had left, bringing me to about 570. In pricipal,I "divorced them",now, they're angry and want their allimony payment. Watch out for the interest traps. It's a scam to get more money from you, quickly. They never gave me an option, except to send me a pretty RED overdue letter. Suck my big toe! "I'm done with you"!L.P.

I have an account with you. I wanted to ask about, what I thought was an error. I had called your phone number and was told that if I wanted to talk to a rep. it would cost $15.
I have never dealt with a bank that wanted to charge me to discuss a problem, and I won't.
I will close my account with Rooms to Go and your bank.

I think I have more than one account with you but the statements have been misplaced--therefore I have no account numbers. I would like to get my username and password so that I can access my account(s) online.

The last username and password are not now acceptable.

The calls seems to have just started yesterday morning. Continued all day from so many numbers, almost hourly. Saying my loan was approved. Could barely understand the man but asked repeatedly to remove my number from his list. He said okay but I need your first and last name. I said no you dont't, he said yes I do. I kept repeating myself and so did he. It was like talking to a toddler. So I couldn't tell what he was saying but I thought he said "G.E. Money Bank". So I googled it this morning because the calls started again. All day yesterday I thought the company name sounded familiar but just couldn't think of what it was. So when I came to this site someone in another comment mentioned Walmart and it hit me...that's why it sounds familiar!! I have a Walmart pre-paid VISA and I have part of my paycheck put on it. Well after the dozens of calls they just lost a customer.

I totally understand the frustration. When you answer there is a delay and then a recording and it does not specify an account and when you call back, same deal, recording saying put in your acct number, etc, (what if you have more than one acct and in my case what if the acct you finally figure out they are calling about is for a furniture loan that is past due since 11/4 and they have been calling since 11/10. Called 11/13 and set up payoff for 11/16 on entire bal, got a confirm from Indian guy and have received 2 calls after I did that yesterday and have received 3 today (so far) This is retarded and I am so glad that 11/16 mine will be paid, This department of yours is ridiculous and I will NEVER EVER do business with GE again.

GE MONEY BANK CUSTOMER but....
they call several times a day even on sundays. sometimes they leave a msg sometimes they do not. they always ask for linda wilson. Yesterday I had enough. I answered and told the indian accented man there is no linda wilson here to remove my number. He apolagized and said he would. NEXT day,,, two calls again. I finally answered. i spoke with HELEN who explained the sae thing to and told her my number was supposed to be removed. I asked to speak with her supervisor NANCY who i again went off on saying how im harassed with calls and there is no linda wilson here and i am filing a complaint because this is wrong. And I certainlly shouldnt be bothered on a SUNDAY, I asked for her direct number so WHEN this happens AGAIN i can call her because ive been told twice now this matter is taken care of. I told her Im reporting them and I hope they get sued and shutdown ( i was soooo mad)
She could not give me her number just a 1800 #, I said No i want YOUR number. You call me several times a day,, Would you want me calling YOU several times a day asking for someone who doesnt even live here. SHe appolagized several times and despite my total rudeness she was mannered. This is crazy.

The same thing happened to me this month. Imade my payment on 10-08-2012 and it was taken from my account on 10-09-2012. Today is 10-16-2012 and they are calling and harassing my eldery mother to say they haven't recevied a payment this month and if she did not make a payment for me a late charge would be added. My due date for payment is the 5th of the month so I know they have already taken a late fee plus got another payment from her. I thought we had a law to protect against harrasment from people like this. I can't talk to them because I can not understand them.

I mailed my payment on 10/03/12, and GE Bank processed my payment on 10/10/12 but it still wasn't posted to my account. I guess they hold on to my payment (and everyone elses money) for an extra 3-5 days after receiving the money from my bank before they post it to my account. By the way it's 10/13/12 and the money still isn't posted to my account and they charged me a late fee on my credit card on 10/12/12 (on my due date). JUST POST MY PAYMENT TO MY ACCOUNT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people have had me locked out of my account for over 2 months. I've spents tons of time on the phone trying to get the matter corrected. They refuse to fix it. They refuse to help. I believe they don't want me to make payments timely so they can charge tons of interest. This is crazy!!!!!!! Once this is paid off I'll never deal with GE again.

I've never opened an account with these people ... I have no memory of ever dealing with them. I get my credit report today and somehow I have an unpaid $1167 credit with them. So I call them 4 times on 4 different numbers and every single time they transfered me to someone else. The first 3 times they transfered me, the person had me write down a different number to call; all 3 times that number wasn't in service. The last time I got transfered, the lady I talked to (who also happened to be the only one who spoke english clearly) told me she was going to transfer me 1 more time and after the phone rang twice I got a message that stated "we're sorry but the 800 number you have dialed is no longer in service ..." before I hung up and started yelling at my husband. This stupid company is bringing down my credit score, for apparently, God only knows why, and I can't do anything to fix it. Ugh.

I cannot stop getting calls from this number, i called them back and asked them to take me off their calling list to a rep who i couldnt understand and he couldnt understand me... he kept asking for my social i kept saying NO, i told them i do not have any outstanding balances and dont even know who this company is, which is true... my advice, stay away. when i asked to speak to someone else he asked for my social again.

I keep getting calls from these people trying to reach a certain person and can never talk to a representative. I don't know the person in question and have no idea how they got my number. I assume some lowlifes go around handing out phone numbers they pull out of the sky. This is a frustrating company. From the sounds my calls it seems Old Navy uses them and this makes me not want to ever buy anything from Old Navy.

these people suck. I've never been notified of an interest rate increase, and they doubled it because they stated I had several late payments.

GE money bank chooses to convert bank payments to ACH transactions instead of electronic payments. Due to that, they're not actually posted on they day that the bank delivers them. It takes up to 3 days to post to the account.

Then they tack on a $35 late fee (which is ridiculous). this whole time i believed I was making my payments on time and never previously had a problem. I've had this account for years, but I will never use it again. I'd rather go without than have to deal with this company.

I got behind on my payments and GE Money Bank gave me phone number to set up payoff amount. I paid the amount, borrowed the money from family, and paid it off in the 3 payments. Now, they have turned it over to another company and are demanding the amount they wrote off, the amount reduced if i paid the payoff amount. They tell me they no longer have my account and can't help me. What a bunch of rip off artists.

I was a walmart employee and got a credit card from them a long time ago. It had like a 300.00 dollar credit limit on it. Anyway, I got hurt on the job and got a settlement. Then I get a letter in the mail saying I owe them $15,000.00. I think they are in cahoots together. I have asked them to send me the last statement and they "can't." So, the customer service person I talked to asked how much thought I owed I said "no more than 500.00." But the statement I got today said that the total due was $14,222.49. The arranged amount was 500.00. I am wondering if that is going to go on my credit report as a default?
