This does not work, I cannot seem to get a person on the phone and I am getting frustrated! Why can't I speak to a person?

I had a store credit card with GE Moneybank and I was sure I had paid off the balance, but then I received a bill saying I owed them $11. I called them to get the full amount owed, including the interest, because I didn't want to keep paying interest on such a small amount. The rep told me that to pay off the balance it would $11 and some change if I just paid over the phone. I said okay. He started getting check by phone info and then quickly mumbled about a $15 phone pay fee. I said "wait wait wait. I am not paying a fee of $15 to make an $11 payment. That would be stupid.". He said he would waive the fee this time. I paid the amount. Two months later I receive a letter stating I now owe them $41. A $2 balance and a $39 late fee!!!! I called them immediately demanded a supervisor and went off. I told her I told the rep when I paid by phone that I wanted to pay the balance, why in the hell would I pay the balance minus $2?!? After about 2 hours and 2 supervisors, they finally agreed to remove the fee and put the account to a zero balance. I closed it then and will NEVER get a card that is through them again!

Money Bank/GE Capital Retail Bank sent me
a zero balance. All my dealings with Lowes was by cash--?? who are these predators. Zero balance then leads to mintenece fees or fee Fees. So I sent thier letter with GE logo back to PO BOX,
there was no phone number. Letter was quite curt/nasty for shakedown artists.

This company is rediculous. They run credit cards for various companies including paypal. Customer service is nonexistent and they do weird unauthorized things to accounts. What a sad state of affairs. Stay clear.. Stay away!!!!!!

Month after Month we tried to make our payments on time using our online account month after month we cant log on ! Call on the phone we are place on hold for 20 mins hang up on then call back after 20 mins. Then we are told put this and that number in by the time we get to make our payment its past 5.00 pm.. our payment is not do until the 23 of the month mmmmmmmmm cant your company get it together !!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 accts with GE Capital Retail Bank for XMARK mowers.....this company does not have a website to be able to pay your monthly payment online so I us my bank to auto draft it out. GE says postal delays are not their problem when a payment is not received. GET A WEBSITE ALREADY. I was told last year that it was in the making and should be up and fully running in a year. Was just told the same thing this am...in a year it should be up and running.

They are a scam!They had me to keep getting pre-paid cards for no reason.After the third time I told them that this was ridiculous and I decided not to go thru with it.I asked for my money back and they refused to give me my money back.They were very rude to me because I refused to keep going to get pre-paid cards for them.They even had the nerve to call me a month later as if I had forgot about them!I wasn`t as nice this time!LOL

An overseas' call center operator for GE Money Bank "dunned" a standing checking account I had for phone payments $269 without my knowledge (showed up in my checking account three days later), and the company refused to make amends. One snarky regional supervisor said she would credit my account $25 - Was on hold with six different call centers domestic and foregin for 83 minutes over two days - Sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission - worst customer service in history...

This will be the last time i try to get a realistic pay off ammount from you-without an attorney!I have been all over the internet-Pissed off consumer has some great reading material about GE Money Bank.As does GE complaints and many more.I felt obligated to share my story as well! My name is Rhonda Hodecker-I live in St. Louis Mo. I received a 18 mos. promotional loan from you 17 mos. ago"INTEREST FREE" if paid off in the promotional time frame! I've been trying to get a pay off ammount from your co. and all i'm getting is $2.500.00 and another call to you brings an ammount of $1.600.00 My initial loan was for $2.700.00! After paying 17 mos. without missing a payment-I've only paid $200.00?? May be you could CALL ME this time and settle this matter once and for all! Very unhappy customer-Rhonda Hodecker!!!

GE money bank is the worst possible place to go through for any kind of money lending. I bought a motorcycle for 8K got the death and disability insurance, 170 of my 200 dollar payment went to cover that, that being said 7 years later I am still paying on it and in upwards of 25k in debt. It took me two years to catch up to all their "fees" associated with the rollover of my interest due to more then half of my payment going to insurance.
My balance has now been stuck at 5100 for the past two months, mind you I have never paid a payment late or missed a payment.

They're holding my motorcycle title as well. 15 business days after payoff! I can't register my bike until they get me the letter. It's going to be almost a full month after I paid for it. Transaction was completed through a recognized escrow company via wire transfer. Criminal if you ask me. And I'll NEVER do business with them if I can help it.

To Whom it May Concern. This place is holding my title to our motercycle, that we don't have a loan with. You can't talk to anyone. No one wants to help. I will be turning this over to the better business. And may be contacting a lawyer, to take care of this matter.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! The person on the phone sounded like she was outside, I could not hear. Then she sounded irritated when I asked her to close my account because my wallet had been stolen. Would not recommend this company

I have spent over an hour calling seven different times to people asking a question and two of the last ones forwarded my calls to numbers no longer in existence. I have to go through hurdles and hurdles to even talk to someone. Terrible customer service. I was trying to find out for a 74 year old friend how to get a copy of a mortgage release on his mobile home paid off many years ago. The last lady said she had no idea whom to call. Very frustrating.

In Oct 2010 I applied for a new home ac unit in the amount of 5,500. I was approved for 9,000.. I have 790 credit scores.. I payed off the unit in full Apr 2011 with no late payments.. I recently was looking into using the line of credit to buy some new windows for our home. I was shocked to find out that a letter was supposedly sent to me on 5-10-12 which I have yet to receive stating that due to inactivity my account was closed for "MY SECURITY"! I just checked my credit scores and they have dropped on average 40 points! I called their useless customer service that's over seas somewhere and they are useless and explained to them that how could they hurt peoples credit like that and I was told that "they reserve the right to do so"! I asked why didn't you send out a letter stating that inactivity on the account would result in the eventual closer of the line of credit before they closed it. I was told that that's what they did and would not reverse it! The truth is unless your currently in debt with them they will cancel your account and wreck havoc on your credit report! They were more then greatful to extend me the money to get into debt with them in the first place! What's with this whole credit card reform!? Was anything put in place to prevent a bank from damaging someones name to no fault of their own or did we just give them more of our taxes just for them to throw it back in our face and hurt us on top of it! GE Money Bank is worse then a loan shark.. At least they don't call themselves a "Bank"! Avoid them at all cost or you will suffer the same fate even if your fortunate to keep your account in perfect standing!

I have proven I don't owe anything on my ebay master card from GE Money Bank and they STILL are charging me fees!

Very rude customer service, who pretend they have no idea what you are talking about!

I just received a 25.00 charge on my ebay card with NO explanation of why or who or when!!

Outrageous!

Website is awful. I could never get in with my information. Today I noticed that the web site had changed and had to enter in all information again. I only have one or two more payments and will never use this card again. I got this card to be able to get a new sewing machine, what a huge mistake!!!

OMG...What a horrific experience...Just changed jobs and tried to update my e-mail address to pay on line...Cannot get logged on to the website and tried the customer service numbers on the site AND on the back of my card...Cannot connect with a live human...So, to ensure I didn't get late fees, paid by phone (which they charged ne for as well). WHAT A FREAKING NIGHTMARE! I should be able to pay off the balance next month...Then I'm going to close my account and cut the card into tiny pieces.

DO NOT GET A WALMART MONEY CARD FOR THIS CARD IS AFFILIATED WITH GE MONEY BANK AND WHAT I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH WITH THEM HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE FOR THE PAST 28 DAYS! I ADDED A SECONDARY CARD HOLDER, WHICH I WAS TOLD I COULD DO. THEIR TAX REFUND WAS DIRECT DEPOSITED ON TO "OUR" CARD. WE TOOK OUT SOME MONEY BUT DID NOT SPEND ALL OF IT THAT DAY. THE NEXT DAY WE WENT TO USE IT AND IT IS BLOCKED FROM USAGE. I HAVE CALLED OVER TWELVE TIMES TO GET SOMEONE TO UNBLOCK THE CARD AND THEY KEEP INFORMING ME THAT THEY CANT HELP ME...THAT ONLY THIS ONE PERSON HANDLES THAT AND THEY WILL CALL ME BACK IN TWENTY FOUR HOURS AND THEY NEVER CALL. I DONT KNOW WHO TO CONTACT OR WHAT TO DO. IT IS UNDER INVESTIGATION THEY TELL ME...FOR WHAT??? I ADDED THE DAMN PERSON BECAUSE I WAS ALLOWED TO AND NOW THEY GET THEIR REFUND AND THESE CLOWNS THINK WHAT...THAT IM DOING SOMETHING CRIMINAL OR COMMITING FRAUD? THIS IS B.S. AND I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS PREPAID CARD. ITS YOUR MONEY BUT THEY CAN BLOCK IT AND YOU ARE SCREWED...TRUST ME BECAUSE I CANT ACCESS ALMOST THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS RIGHT NOW THAT MY FAMILY DESPERATELY NEEDS. About 2 wks. Ago i applied 4 a loan with speedy cash n i was approved after that i began receiving calls from Ge..at first i ignored the calls. But today i decided to call them for the loan. I was told to go to walmart n purchase a prepaid visa n add $60 to it. Then i had 2 wait 4 hours for the pin number that i never did receive. The bastard David that answers the phone kept hanging up on me and he also told me to shut the f@;: up cause this wasn't my house and i couldn't do anything about it and he wasn't gonna do anything either.....now normally im a very professional individual but today im pissed the hell off and i will be reporting their asses to the better business bureau ....

I was given a payoff quote on Tuesday 4/24, paid it, then was told that I owed and extra $220 on 4/27. When I called Customer Service, I was dealt with rudely and told I had no choice but to pay the $220 interest charge that they overlooked originally in order to get my balance to zero. This is a total snake company that squeezes every nickel that they can out of people. I immediately closed my account and will never deal with them or anything GE has their hands in again.

About a year ago I was during a little shopping when I came across a Eyes glasses name Lenscrafters store. I walk in and a lady there asked me if I wanted some help. I stated that I was just looking around to see what kinds of glasses they had and their price. After she gave me all the information with different kinds of glasses she asked me if I had any account with them. I stated that I don't have any account and that I don't use any credit card. She stated that in order to buy glasses from them that I needed to have a credit card account and that there was no obligation if I didn't buy anything from them. That she just only to check whether or not I was qualify to get credit. She stated would you like to have an account with us. I stated well not really because suppose I don't want to buy anything? She stated Oh, you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to. She stated "I just wanted to see if you can qualify". So, she stated let see how much you can qualify for? So, after all the information being process she stated that my credit is good. However, I never did buy any glasses from Lencrafters so I don't have no need to worry about the credit. Now, I get a letter from GE Credit bank stated that I needed to pay a fee of $25.00 for late fee. I ask myself what late fee I never brought anything from lencrafters nor did I used or ever got a credit card from GE Credit bank. So, what the hell is going on. I believe GE Credit bank is the worse rip off bank I have ever encounter. I will not pay them a red dime nor will I ever use their credit card any anyway shape or form. So, to all those out there beware do not apply for credit by any mean. as far as I am concerned GE Credit bank can all go to Hell!

I am having the same problem as Jojo. I call the given number and when it goes to connect me there is a record that says, "We cannot take your call right now. Try again later." I've been paying on this account through auto-pay and have no received a billing statement in months, so I cannot access my account through the online site because I don't have the last 4 digits of my account number.

There is no way to get in contact with them, The change there web site and there is no log in page I have auto payment and should only have 1 or 2 payments left but I dont know what the balance is how do I resolve this?

OMG These people are HORRIBLE!! I've called FOUR times to try and talk to someone about an e-mail that I received from them. I had scheduled a payment and got an e-mail saying that because on the date of my scheduled payment my account balance was ZERO, they canceled my payment. I know that we still owe a few thousand. I finally gave up and replied to their e-mail saying, "That's FANTASTIC!! I'm so happy that my account has a ZERO balance!! It was a pleasure doing business with you, NOT!!" Now we shall see if they respond. LOL!!
