Purchased a Christmas gift and needed to return as person had Air Force jacket already. Emailed buy.com and never received email. When I found number to speak to person, found out my purchase came through a 3rd person sale and so I really didn't buy through buy.com. If I wanted to buy from someone else I would have. I am not happy that I would have to go through a 3rd party and Now I can't return jacket as it is not in their return timeframe. I will not buy again. Carol Masino, Naples, Fl

I had been on the phone for 50 min. and counting. You have $1,344.08 of my money tied up from denying my pay pal transactions (336.02x 4 of them). I was told by sup. Ellie that she would try to contact Pay Pal 15 min. into our call. I had to call her from my cell number, where a c.s.rep. wanted to have her call me back.I at that time told her "No" I wanted to talk to Ellie the Sup.(she needs to learn to come back to the customer, and let them know just what she is doing while she is staying away from the phone so long). Ellie starts telling me the same thing that her partner sup. told me yesterday "to call pay pal", I explained that I spoke to Pay pal, and there is no issue there on their end. I just need your company to fax a letter to them on your company letter head my name, last 4 digits of the card number tied to the account, the (4) different sums for the transaction, date of trans, and that you won't try to collect from me for the merch. that you cancelled the order for. I have never seen customer service like this. I have connections to many people, and will pass along this great service :(((((((!!!!

Used the wrong credit card. Called and spoke to a lovely gentleman, who was helpful in canceling the order.

I ordered some frontline plus on November 1 and am still waiting on my package. Paid Anemrican express and had to order somewhere else because I did not receive my merchgandise. By now you should know that drug deals are happenning because no one has to sign for shipments. If on one is at home or the shipping company does not ring the bell they just throw the item(s) on the porch and in some cases the packages are simply taken since no one is at home. I am certainlly not implying you are part of illegal ship,ments, under no circumstances. Some times a pacakge simply disappears for many other reasons. I sm canceling my order reference $ 61.99. Sorry but there are too many comlaints on a certain website about buycom. I have learned another lesson. R P Meurrens

I odered a notebook on August 10 2012 and I thought it was great that I would get it in 1-2 business days.Considering I ordered it on a Friday, I gave it til Wednesday, WELL that didn't happened so I called only to find out that it was being "held up" because some customer service person claimed that they called me & left me a message that I didn't get either {hello cell phones do keep a call log & messages!. So when I did talked to the customer service on August 15th, we confirmed the info that caused the "hold up" and was insured that it will be sent to the confirmed shipping address tomorrow. But low and behold I get a call to confirmed my shipping package today at 2:47 on a package that I thought was already in the mail & expecting it on Friday! I will tell you this, this is a lot of firsts with this company, first time to ever order from you and the first time I EVER complained to sit down and tell a company about it. Really!!! I spent a lot of money & couldnt get a phone call explaining the reason why my order was being "held up". This will probably be my last time ordering from you & thats too bad for you cause I was looking at an expensive camera to purchase that I seen on your site. And I work at a large utility company where I am having my package delivered to an my co workers are seeing the service that I'm recieving and they are not liking it either. So you will get a bad report by just not me From any of our friend and coworkers who is considering to buy a product. Will tell them where NOT to buy! @ BUY.COM!!!

Shopped once with these folks in early July and now numerous charges on my credit card! Not cool, this company should be shut down, I don't care how cheap things are.

It's not strange that every comment on here is derogatory (NOT NICE) I just placed an order recently and now my credit card is compromised from someone placing an order for over $500 from buy.com and over $650 from Apple online store (which I have never ordered from Apple). I called to discuss and Buy.com was very unhelpful.

I had no idea of the shipping charges until I've placed all my bank information and I was ready to check out. There is no indication of the shipping charges and why it is half the price of the merchandise. Now I have to change all my bank info.

If you live in Canada, forget trying to do business with this company. They say they ship anywhere. I can't even get them to ship to my US address. They say they will take a Canadian billing address but they don't. It is a waste of time.

If you want to have a hassle free buy and sale of a product...then DON'T BUY FROM BUY.COM. There's NO local number yet there here in SoCal. Sooooo disappointing!!! Find your products elsewhere.

BUY.COM is the most difficult, the most inflexible company to deal with when it comes to obtaining a REBATE. Trust me, if they're asking you to send in the required documentation, you cannot stray from those one iota!

For a rebate of $20, the requirement was for:

(1) signed rebate form (easy enough, the link is provided).

(2) the original UPC label peeled from the product's side panel. There's only ONE, so when you attach it to your signed rebate form be sure to make at least one copy for your records.

(3) a copy of your receipt.
Ahh... here's the GOTCHA! You see, Buy.com does NOT provide you a receipt at any time. None is mailed to you, none is included in the shipping box. Are you starting to get the picture? Do NOT print out what appears to be a receipt from Buy.Com when all it really is is your order confirmation. That will NOT fly with the rebate department.
What is not known, and what is not told to you the customer, is that you must go online to BUY.COM, log into your account, go to your order history and then click on the link for a printable receipt.

THIS IS A MAJOR FAILING and is the main reason 99% of the rebates are declined. So, if you are a glutton for punishment, my friend, and you just haven't had enough aggravation in your life, then set your calendar to 3-4 weeks to go online to:

HTTP://WWW.PROMOPROCESS.COM

You'll need several bits of information in order to obtain the status of your rebate:

1- Your email address
2- Your tracking number
This was provided when you initially REGISTERED ONLINE to obtain your rebate. After registering they'll provide your tracking number. Immediately drop everything and WRITE THAT NUMBER DOWN! Without it, you might as well goodbye to obtaining your rebate. You can NOT check the status with just your email address alone. This is another GOTCHA! BUY.COM makes the process as complicated and convoluted and confusing as possible in order to eliminate the easily confused and/or poorly organized rebate filer.

So good luck and have fun following up with your customer service person from Manila, Phillipines. The satellite feed to their takes time and the call quality is horrible.
By the way, yell & scream your head off will not get you anywhere with these Stepford Wife clones hired to represent them. All they repeat over and over again like a broken record (you'll SEE) is "I'm sorry... blah blah blah" or "I understand.." and then dance around the question, failing to address the specific concern or question. In short, it's like talking to a parrot or mynah bird.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON BUY.COM. If you try to make a change to an order they will punish you for it. They had the wrong mailing address and they got all confused when i tried to tell them about it. instead of sending to the correct address they said the only way was to cancel and reorder. i canceled, but didnt reorder. they ended up sending it to the wrong address and bouncing it around the country for 4 weeks and still dont have a refund. i have to call them twice a week. i'm not sure if they are doing this on purpose or are just grossly incompetent.

Buy.com used to post their phone number on the website - as part of their banner. But I don't see it or can find it anywhere on the website anymore.

I have purchased many items on Buy.com and am usually quite satisfied with the products, delivery, notification, and if necessary, customer service.

The only reason I came looking for the phone number is I bought a product and a Square Trade warranty for it. The refurbished product had some physical damage and so I returned it for a return. But they ran out of the product and issued a refund.

However, I had to contact Square Trade separately for the refund. They sent me a check, but it did not include sales tax that was charged on the warranty purchase.

I contacted Square Trade again, and they told me that they hadn't collected tax as they currently don't take tax for every state.

The Buy.com rep took my call, checked my order, and said she would request a refund for the sales tax in question.

So, I have no complaints with Buy.com and will continue to recommend them as a vendor.

I did give a low score for Reachability, as I had to go Googling for their phone number. That is unacceptable. At least they had someone on the other end of the line when I called, right away.

buy.com is the only online retailer that I have ever had any problems with.. their customer service is horrible. I tried to return an order that I purchased for christmas and they have yet to post the return to my credit card (its now march). I have called dozens of times and they try to blame it on my credit card for not having posted the refund. They continually have a "specialist" review my transaction and get back to me. I have still never received a call back. I will never purchase from them again

I placed an order with your company on 2/19/2011 and was this was not the first and was hoping it would not be by last order from your company, but it will be from me and anyone I will talk to.I called your company 2 weeks later several times to see if my order i had paid for and had cleared my bank was on it's way and was told NO. you had not sent my order because my mailing address and the ship to address was not the same.That had nothing with my order you had my money and a po box was to small to have an package sent to me. I had ordered a lamp for my tv and it was sent to the address i wanted the other order to be sent to.
I have yet to see my money refunded and or my order sent to me. i liked your prises but will not have anything to do with you again. if this is the way you treat your customers well i will make sure others know how you work!!!!!! Now I want to hear from someone about my refund ASAP.

Do not allow Buy.com to get your email address. I did and I have never been able to get them to stop sending me emails. Everytime I go to their link to stop these emails, they give me a message that the service link to do this is not functioning at the moment.
Never giver buy.com your real email address. They are spammers.

buy.com is horrible!!! Will NEVER purchase from then again. I made a return and have been waiting for a refund over a month already..... they are still "working" on it. This company robs you and could care less if you are satisfied. God forbid to deal with them again!!!!!

I ordered a book from Buy.com and it arrived in SPANISH....I returned the book asking that they send me the English version. Once again it arrived in SPANISH!!!! When I contacted them through the 800 #, they said it's not available in English!!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

I just ordered a Mac Pro from Buy.com and noticed it had my old address on there. I called th Buy.com right away to change the shipping address and they said they could not change it until they cancel it. I opted not to cancel it since I still have access to my old address but they STILL CANCELLED my order anyway. I shouldn't have called Customer Service... they just SCREWED UP my order! This company should definitely do something about their customer service dept!!!
