When Barnes and Noble sent me a DVD replacement disk, it arrived in packaging that was like a heavy paper bag. It arrived in perfect condition. Commendations for the first packaging I've received that shows true commitment to all that recycling stands for.

I called your customer service line this morning to try to resolve a simple purchase. This was after being on the "live chat" for well over 30 minutes, only to be disconnected. The representative I spoke to was rude and condescending. I have Parkinson's disease and this makes it difficult for me to be understood at times. Even after I told her that, she was very rude. I finally just said to forget it and hung up. The only reason I even went that far was because I have a gift card that I was trying to use. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM BARNES AND NOBLE!!!!!

I returned 3 nook tablets in march of this year one defeat after another it was told to me that it will be up dated with a new one I have been calling an no help now that you have my 1st nook and have all of the bad nooks that kept over heating what are you goimg to do.my home phone is

I ordered a NOOK Galaxy Tab 4, order It has shipped but I have received two emails with two different prices. I was told it was $109.00 plus tax for a total of $116.09. The second email said the total cost was $129.00 plus tax made the total $137.39. I am confused about the cost but when I ordered it on the phone, I was told the cost was $109.00 plus tax. Please clarify this for me.

I stopped buying honeywell products when they went offshore. Poor customer support skills. I have spent 3+ hours trying to find someone to talk to within the continental US. This is disgraceful for a company with the B&N reputation to not have a onshore contact number. I have a complaint with one oof your subs and I can't get a hold of anyone to fix it. Is this the image you are trying to project. Cheap labor can eventually cost in sales and reputation.

I preordered a book 'Maximum Ride Forever' using money I had in my gift cards of my nook color. I go to download that book now that it is out and I can not find and history of me making the preorder and my money is gone my at least seven dollars. I want the book and the money. I called for help and 'Nadia' was no help as I understood very little and she wouldn't even listen to me. She found no record of the preorder and 'cant help me'.

Very disappointed right know. Read two books-between two billionaires by sky corgan anda virgin, a billionaire and marriage by lauren hawkeye but get the second parts of the books on nookbooks.i am told to contact the pubisher but information or number is available.

Received terrible coffee even after being made three times. Favorite place to buy coffee but the ones there didn't know how to make it. If there hadn't been a lot of people in line, I would have asked for my money back.

This site is a joke. Not only can I not find what I need, but calling the Customer Service number and getting through to a live person is a not easy and the wait is long. I could probably drive to my nearest Barnes & Noble quicker than I could get an answer.

A charge is on my Credit Card statement on 7/13, for a B&N Membership Renewal, that isn't up until August 15th, 2014. I have not used this card over around 8 months. I DID NOT authorize this charge . I called last night and talked to someone names Emma, she said she would take it off. I will call my credit card Co. and let them know this and file a DISPUTE CLAIM.

I have been followed around your Chino Hills store as I waited for my husband to pick out and purchase his books. I was "covertly" followed/watched by your mgr and asst mgr, I believe, because I had my service dog with me. When we first came in, I showed the mgr on duty my dog's new id tag, and told him I had decided to buy it because of the interaction previously with them, where I was asked to carry my dog, unless I had paperwork certification "proving" that she is a service dog. I showed her Calufirnia Assistance Dog metal license from the Humane Society, and said that they really were breaking the Federal ADA laws to even ask that. I gave them a card I carry to educate them on the law. I even came back 2 days later to bring them a printout of the laws, and their responsibilities under these lwas. They were unaware and uneducated about them. I offered to teach their staff about the ADA laws and let them meet my dog. They declined. I feel very upset and insulted that I have been singled out by these staff members to be treated this way, and feel that it was bias against a handicapped person. I strongly recommend you make them aware that this is against the federal laws and they and your company could face charges and be sued for damages.

your store located at 5303 fm 1960 west Houston,ex 77069 is the coldest store I've ever been in. the customber service desk say it is controlled by the new York office. I really hate that a chain must control temperature from across the country. we southerners don't like it cold. its barely 74 outside, I think normal comfortable temperature is around 76/77. this is absurd and also customer service said she'd been begging you guys to turn the dang thing off. oh, and your store located in the woodlands tx, at he woodlands mall, has a tip jar.....really, REALLY tacky...

Very poor customer service. Received book for Christmas that I had already read. Went to return it only to find the Pasadena CA stored closed... No notice to customers. When I finally was able to get to another store ( which was an inconvenience) they cited a 60 day return policy (it was 64 days since the purchase & exactly 60 days since I received gift on Christmas. ) all they offered was about 1/2 the price paid. I told my story to B&N twice, then had my phone call cut off. They hadn't even gotten my contact info...which should be the first thing the ask. And they didn't sound like they were willing to do anything about it anyway! I'm disgusted with their lack of service. And the person who bought me the book, and made sure I had the cash receipt available to provide, NEVER would have bought the book at B&N if she knew the stored would be closed less than a week later. So another reason to support your local independent bookstore. I'll make a point to diss B&N to everyone I can. We already did a twitter post!

I called about my problem with my nook and was patiently servd by Ben at around 8:30AM Guam time on feb 8. Ben told me that everything is in my record so the nxt time I call whoever will help me will know what the problem is. Today, feb 11 I called 4x the life cut off 4x. Just to discuss over and over I wasted my time for nothing. One guy was checking if my device should changed for a new one, but the line was cut off. Please do something with this.

I ordered 2 DVDs from a store media center. I was charged for them and then they cancelled the order the next day because it could not be filled. They never contacted me and they did not issue my refund until I phoned them and demanded they do so. They could not help at the store and was forced to register on their website to get the contact phone number. I found this site and had it in seconds. They will be out of business in no time with this kind of service and at this day and age. I won't order from them again and I won't renew my membership.

B&N no good! My Nook died in November I spoke with Customer Service who emailed me an RMA number, then asked for my CC number (I'm not that stupid), so that they may send me out another. I told them I didn't pay by credit card. They asked me to return it with proof of mailing, which I did. They received it and I've been calling ever since! They told me that you don't get a new one, they send you a pre-fabbed one if it can't be repaired. Well its January, and I got nothing! And I'm pissed. They used to be my favorite bookseller, but I'm going to get me a kindle or stick to paper books and not buy anything from here. Their customer service reps are in the Phillipines and all they do is apologize. SO I can't even read the books I "own". Going forward I'll stick to paper books!

Terrible customer service! Ordered three books. They shipped from NJ to Atlanta....by Dhl truck then to the USPS who shipped to wrong city Who,when called said their process is to return to the sender!

How NUTS is that! Two shippers vs one. Ordered on Dec 12 and reaches the Wrong PO on Dec 21 (they are still looking for the pkg)

Attempts to call customer service (many times) result in "line is busy I will take you back" message that really just hangs up the phone.

I have never had an issue with Amazon shipping or Customer Service. Needless to say.... Won't ever buy from B&N again. Vote with your $ & feet!

I recently made a purchase online,then called Barnes and Noble's customer service to get the shipping address changed. Ok they got the address right but not the name. So I call back again[to a very rude person]to get the name on the address right. Welll, a few days later it ends up at MY HOUSE!!!!! HEY BARNES and NOBLE DUH!!!!!!! The WORST customer service I have ever encountered!!!!!!!!
