I just bought my second Audi from the Paul Miller dealership in Parsippany, NJ with the help and assistance of a sales person whose name is Peter Wendell. We bought an A7 this time; my previous car was an A6. My wife and I believe Peter to be trustworthy and a very knowledgeable salesperson. Peter is very good at directing us to the "right" car. He is very helpful in explaining the options and helping my wife choose the right color. We believe when Peter gives us a price quote, either for a new car or for a trade it, he is doing his best for us.

Bought a Certified Audi A4 in July for 43K then paid another 4.5K for extended warranty. In Dec right after an oil change the car started over heating. My wife stopped by the Audi of Bellevue WA and they replaced thermostat and while my wife was there the service advisor stated the car was close to the 50K services check and "This is a required servicing". I had just had my oil changed a few weeks prior, but since this required she had it done. They charged her $850 to for the service and only they I can really find they did was change plugs that weren't bad and check belts and hoses. The Service advisor said that he credited us for the oil change in the bill. This is crazy. I complained to the Audi GM Lisa Hess and she added they lubricated things like the sun room std on these 50K servicing(that makes it worth it. They also stated the car need all new brakes and rotors. The pads were down to 1mm.Now my bills is $2300. The brakes according to my paperwork from the Audi Dealership in Seattle stated the car had 11m just months earlier. I find out the brake light is suppose to come on at 3M(no brake light came on). I asked Lisa several times to explain this and she never gets back to me. I feel this dealership is not honest. And why can't they answer my question. We have spent so much on a certified cars that seems to be a money pit. When asked why do they say it is required 50K servicing when each time they answer oil change to protect warranty. They knew my oil had just been changed. This is Audi way of good business practices. A GM that refuses to answer the phone or return a call. Pathetic !!!!!!!!!

The last Audi I will ever own.

I bought Audi A6 hybrid just a year ago, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and I now believe this is the biggest mistake I have made thus far with a Car. I had a number of options before buying this car but chose this becaise of its technolgical advancement and stated features. Within 3 months of buying, the central locking system had to be replaced (it is another matter that it took 3 weeks for this to be sorted as the dealer here, Euromobil , had to wait for the parts to arrive from Germany); something went wrong with the rear door later on; last week something called "connector" had to be replaced. The car was subjected to full servicing just last week and the same problem recurred with the connector this morning. Totally unreliable piece of engineering - dont know if it is an isolated case or just the poor service support in this city - but one thing is for sure - I will not recommend this car to any one nor an Audi as a brand ever.

Hi Lynn,

Here are some pictures I took of Your Audi TT after the damage accrued at Audi of Denver. The Audi owners Manuel recommends that the engine timing belt be replaced at 105,000 miles, as the pictures and documents from Audi of Denver show Your timing belt broke at 79,900 miles, so much for Audi recommendations and knowledge of their product. Audi of Denver estimated that $5,500 to $7,500 USD would be the cost to fix the engine, the repair bill to fix the engine is attached $2,500.00 USD less than half of the low bid from Audi of Denver. I believe Audi of Denver is financially RAPING their customers and then they ruined Your perfect base ball glove interior.Your seat was damaged, I believe when the Audi technician put a hot piece of analyzing equipment directly on the seat. I am taking the TT to two auto shows and the Colfax cruse this weekend, then to the media including Denver Post and all TV channels, in the next two weeks. I will also suggest to other Audi owners that have had problems with Audi in general and Audi of Denver in specific to consider joining Me in the LEMON campaign that I am on. I have the TT scheduled for auto shows and cruses throughout summer of 2014.

Sincerely,

Dennis R Muck

A7, 2012 model with only 13000 miles. Car giving problems. Customer service response in the last 5 days poor & only false assurances. No action. Looks like Audi does not stand by its products. Has left me with a bad impression on the company and want to inform other vehicle owners of my terrible experience with the car and more importantly the total lack of customer service at Audi Corporate.
End of business day today and no call.
Is this how Audi stands by its products???
Empty words, false assurances and insincere regrets.
Their online chat is a big joke. Waste of your time.

I can't believe Audi would sell an inferior wired car in minnesota which precipated a huge bill because I was told that cold weather caused the problem. The wiring and connectors for the throttle valve all were replaced because they sold it with wiring for a warmer climate. The worst thing I've ever experienced!!!

I can't begin to tell you how disgusted I am with your vehicle and your staff at the Audi Willow Grove PA dealership. I have a 2005 Audi A4. My car had a coolant leak which in-turn caused my car to overheat. My car was literally smoking. I took it into the Audi Willow Grove Pa shop to have it fixed which involved taking the intake out to simply change a hose. This job cost me $1,195 dollars. Mind you, I was told by audi that this job required the expertise of the Audi mechanics because it involved so much work. Okay, so I pick my car up thinking it's fine..I have this burden off my back and that I can safely drive my car. Three days later, my car goes up in smoke and all of my coolant leaked out on the ground...the same exact problem I had with the car before taking it into Audi to have it repaired. I take it back into the shop and audi tells me I now need a thermostat. Why didn't anyone recommend this the first time I took my vehicle in for the leak. Now they have to take the intake out AGAIN, and replace the thermostat for 500.00. I would have expected audi, being as though they are the expert on these vehicles to know when a car is over heating to check the thermostat or at least recommend that the thermostat be changed, if neededed, while they went in and did the extensive work the first time. I do not like the fact that they have to keep taking out the engine in my car. I asked Christine Creyaumiller is this a job that I can have someone else do because I simply cannot afford to turn around and pay you 500.00 additonal, perhaps there is someone who can do it at a more affortable cost. She assured me that I could take it to Pepboys or another shop as it does not require as much work as the coolant issu did. I took it to another shop and what do you know. They tell me the intake does in fact have to come back out. Called Audi back and spoke with Stan Chrupcala Director of Parts and labor. Who was extremely rude and actually yelled at me saying " It's not our fault your car is over heating" After I spent close to 1,200 dollars to have Audi fix the problem and 3 days later my car breaks down he tells me, " That is not our problem, cars break down all the time, it's expected" I was shocked and appalled that he was speaking to me like this. He continued to say that he's not even sure if it's the thermostat that causing it to over heat, eventhough this is what I was told and have it in writing he said, he will fix it but it may still continue to over heat because they dont' know for sure what the problem is. And you call that a man of expertise working at an Audi dealearhip on Audi vehicles????? Someone help me understand. How does that sit well with a customer when I just gave these people 1,195 dollars of my money and they "REALLY" have no idea what the heck is going on with my car! and want me to give them an additional 500.00 to fix another problem that still may not stop my car from over heating!! I am a single parent, working full time and part-time night college student. I depend on my vehicle as if it's part of my life line. I can't believe Audi. I am so dissapointed. I regret the day I gave up my Lexus for this Audi. I was warned not to by this car and did it anyone. I am so broke after putting out money for repairs that still is not taking care of the problem. DONT BUY AUDI'S THEY ARE THE WORST! AND SO IS THE SERVICE :-(

I have a 2006 audi A3 2.0T The engine light came on. I took it into the dealer. It ended up being the Camshaft and High presure fuel pump. The cost before tax $2,686.75. The car has 70,000 miles and it is time for the timing belt and water pump to be changed the price on that is $1,978.75. After doing alot of research I have found out this camshaft and high prisure fuel pump is a manufactor defect. I spoke with Brad Holster from the corporate office with audi. He said it was not covered. He did not seem concerned at all about my problem. I will never purchase a AUDI never. I will tell all my friends and family how Audi treat their customers!!!

The customer service representative was truly FANTASTIC!!! It was great speaking to a "real person." He was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and he found out in seconds my car's history and was further able to give me
detailed advice.

Kudos to AUDI for having this service available on a weekend and also for hiring people with outstanding work ethic. Tt shows that Audi really care for their customers. Thanks very much.

Audi is a very nice car, I just hope Audi Corporation will be careful in choosing their partners (Dealership) in every country that they do business. The support really sucks.Imagine after spending so much money on the schedule maintenance, in less than a month after I got it from the service bay, my car broke down (steering pump). But until now (1 month) havent have any clear schedule on the release of my car, and worse I have to do the follow from time to time, they dont even give you feedback unless you initate your call. There is a joke in the Philippines that if you want better support service from Audi, pls. purchase an R8, A8 and a Q7 models, just maybe you will have a different response level. I havent experience this from my previous brand (BMW), which offers service unit if they feel that your car wont be release in the near future.

I purchased an A7 for European delivery, picked up the car on 9/13/11 and dropped it in Zurich on 9/21/11. Was told USA delivery would be in six to eight weeks. Right now it's eleven weeks and counting and I don't know where the car is.

HI ,
I OWN A 2011 AUDI A3 TDI. MANUF. JUNE OF 2011
THERE IS ARE RECALL ON THE SECOND FUEL LINE, THAT CAN CAUSE A FIRE IF IT START TO LEAK FUEL.
I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER AND THEY SAID "THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL THEY GET A LETTER FROM CORP." WHEN CAN I BRING MY T.D.I. IN FOR A PIECE OF MIND UNTIL GETS TO LATE.

I agree with you both. My 2006 A4 had a recall on 3 enine parts. I literally took my car in to be serviced the day before receiving that notice. Thank God for the expensive extended warranty I bout because the cost was $9K worth of repairs. I needed a new engine, turbo, oil change, etc. I have already had to replace the turbo, break pads, tires, battery, CD player, and windshield. At one point my rear view mirror literally melted off... and I live in Rochester, NY. FOr this last job, I had to pay $650 for parts and labor and $450 for a rental car. I was without my vehicle for over 3 weeks. Audi service was incredibly unhelpful. I can't wait to sell my Audi and I certainly will never purchase or recommend one ever again.

Totally agree. A transmission that failed at 100,000 miles which Audi insists can only be replaced, not repaired, for $8000?! I would have been an Audi buyer for life because I love their design....but I too will be telling my friends "Anything BUT an Audi...."

I agree with your experience with Audi; My TT was part of a class action lawsuit regarding failed timing belts; the part is supposed to be changed at 105,000 miles; at 51,000 miles it "needs to be replaced"; $1,200 worth of work. The dealer can/will do nothing and Audi refuses to address it, even though there is a history of problems. No more Audis for me; i don't want to to own a product that requires a lawsuit to fix a problem. And, the Audi customer service and service reps hide; there is no way to contact one directly or even find a name. But, I am getting even: I just convinced 2 people to buy other brands, and will continue to do so. I would MUCH rather say "WOW I had a problem but Audi service was AWESOME" but instead I say "Cool car...horrible and expensive and unresponsive service"
That explains the recent almost last place in quality rankings..HELLOOO...anyone awake at Audi??

Bought an Audi TTS that did not come equiped as indicated on the window sticker. Specifically, the Prestige Package has the navigation system with a 6-disc cd player. The car did not come with a cd player. After numerous calls to Audi of America I was given a "one-time" offer. The dealer agreed to deduct 20% off the labor cost and 40% off the cost of a new cd - then I would pay the difference to get the CD that is listed as part of the equipment the car was supposed to come with. I declined the offer of paying a second time for something that I paid for with the purchase of the car. Federal law requires that the window sticker reflect exactly how the car is equiped. Audi of America and Bell Audi of Edison don't give a damn.
