I can't begin to tell you how disgusted I am with your vehicle and your staff at the Audi Willow Grove PA dealership. I have a 2005 Audi A4. My car had a coolant leak which in-turn caused my car to overheat. My car was literally smoking. I took it into the Audi Willow Grove Pa shop to have it fixed which involved taking the intake out to simply change a hose. This job cost me $1,195 dollars. Mind you, I was told by audi that this job required the expertise of the Audi mechanics because it involved so much work. Okay, so I pick my car up thinking it's fine..I have this burden off my back and that I can safely drive my car. Three days later, my car goes up in smoke and all of my coolant leaked out on the ground...the same exact problem I had with the car before taking it into Audi to have it repaired. I take it back into the shop and audi tells me I now need a thermostat. Why didn't anyone recommend this the first time I took my vehicle in for the leak. Now they have to take the intake out AGAIN, and replace the thermostat for 500.00. I would have expected audi, being as though they are the expert on these vehicles to know when a car is over heating to check the thermostat or at least recommend that the thermostat be changed, if neededed, while they went in and did the extensive work the first time. I do not like the fact that they have to keep taking out the engine in my car. I asked Christine Creyaumiller is this a job that I can have someone else do because I simply cannot afford to turn around and pay you 500.00 additonal, perhaps there is someone who can do it at a more affortable cost. She assured me that I could take it to Pepboys or another shop as it does not require as much work as the coolant issu did. I took it to another shop and what do you know. They tell me the intake does in fact have to come back out. Called Audi back and spoke with Stan Chrupcala Director of Parts and labor. Who was extremely rude and actually yelled at me saying " It's not our fault your car is over heating" After I spent close to 1,200 dollars to have Audi fix the problem and 3 days later my car breaks down he tells me, " That is not our problem, cars break down all the time, it's expected" I was shocked and appalled that he was speaking to me like this. He continued to say that he's not even sure if it's the thermostat that causing it to over heat, eventhough this is what I was told and have it in writing he said, he will fix it but it may still continue to over heat because they dont' know for sure what the problem is. And you call that a man of expertise working at an Audi dealearhip on Audi vehicles????? Someone help me understand. How does that sit well with a customer when I just gave these people 1,195 dollars of my money and they "REALLY" have no idea what the heck is going on with my car! and want me to give them an additional 500.00 to fix another problem that still may not stop my car from over heating!! I am a single parent, working full time and part-time night college student. I depend on my vehicle as if it's part of my life line. I can't believe Audi. I am so dissapointed. I regret the day I gave up my Lexus for this Audi. I was warned not to by this car and did it anyone. I am so broke after putting out money for repairs that still is not taking care of the problem. DONT BUY AUDI'S THEY ARE THE WORST! AND SO IS THE SERVICE :-(
