Today I rented a covered 6 x 12 trailer from your facility in Ukiah California. There was a problem with the wiring in my truck and the new general manager David gave me exceptionally good service by handling the problem himself. He did extensive troubleshooting to find a problem and now I'm back on the road good job!. Yeah

Very unprofessional looked like a bunch of drug addicts runing the place especially the girl with the dark hair and thick glasses she was very rude and used cuss words when speaking not to mention strong smell of alcohol terrible experience at Uhaul sunset Rd Antioch CA 94509

I rented a trailer on 2 14 2016. and got a bill for toll charges 8 months later. I talked to them and they said that is when the toll company sends the bill. I said I would pay the bill and on the 8th day they took the money out of my a out and did not say anything.this posses me off

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This seems to be the new normal.
I learned today that it is possible to talk to a ROBOT with an attitude. She kept saying the same thing over and over again not listening to the question I asked.
Here it goes: I can rent a 10' UHual in Ft Lauderdale FL to Mobile AL for $964.00
NOW FOR THE TWIST: I can rent same UHual in FT Lauderdale Fl to Ocala FL get a different 10' UHaul truck continue on to Mobile AL for a savings of $230.00.
NOW WHY CAN I NOT GET THAT PRICE AND NOT HAVE TO SWITCH TRUCKS????????????
I only have boxes and no heavy furniture or furniture period.Sold it all to make the move simple.
SHE TOLD ME IF I CAN SAVE THAT MUCH MONEY "IT IS NOT IF LADY" THEN I BEST DO IT THAT WAY>.

If you have a storage unit at u haul and are homeless and every employee knows it why is the homeless person allowed to hang out on the property for hours on end ? This is not the first time I've seen this at the u haul location where I have my belongings stored . I like the employees and didn't say what location but the issue needs to be addressed at EVERY location. Cameras may be out front but they are not in the woods where the homeless person hangs on a daily basis .and in the hallways . I was locked out of my unit when I didn't owe any money - I was furious !! Tried to use the elevator but waited and waited finally I yelled close the door . I was told it was being repaired but no sign was on the door ..I left I was tired of waiting . If the homeless issue isn't addressed I will post pictures post names and dates and location.

I never would recommend U-Haul to my worst enemy!!!!! They took my reservation and credit card # and when it was time to verify truck pick-up location they did not have a truck for me!! U-Haul doesn't I guess understand that people have to take off of work, get help with moving furniture and other items and it is a big deal orchestrating a move. I have an elderly mother in a nursing home that I needed to move her things and at the last minute they tell me they have no truck, I will never use nor recommend U-Haul to anyone, terrible what they did.

I rented a uhaul van on a Saturday, used less than Han a quarter tank of gas because I put five dollars in and it filled the tank, probably drive it a total of 30 miles and lock it up West in mansfiels, ohiocharged me for 70 miles!!!!! What a rip off. It was a local move and I went to my storage unit twice. I will think twice before using uhaul again to move!

never use Uhaul long distance as the customer service follow up is poor. Had alot of tire problems with truck and trailer.

I guess none of you at the main office care about customer service. All I can say I will never rent a truck from your company again. The experence we will never forget or forgive this manger schould be fired but you havent done a thing so we sent a letter to Austin they called us the next day shame on all of you,

I was shocked at the LACK of "customer service" by this huge company. I reserved a CARGO VAN in Angels Camp storage place 209 736 9238. The idiots rented it to someone else. I have to go to another town to get a van and they won't waive mileage or help me out in any way. You can not rely on them giving you what you rented. "upgrading" me to a truck would only cost me much more gas and I surely can't camp in it! Corporate gave me no support.

The Uhaul trailer disengaged from the truck hitch, making the trailer swing back and forth across into the other lane. Luckily a car was not approaching in the other lane. We were on a two lane State Road, driving slow enough where we were able to come to a stop without it running into the back of the truck. By the time we arrived at our destination, we were so stressed, we returned the trailer a day early. Out of $203 all Uhaul compensated us for was $70. The person I talked to said it has happened before and was glad we were OK. Guess Uhaul is lucky we aren't dead

I had my tow lights installed at 6425 stockton blvd in november 2014.(2005 jeep liberty)08-09 2015 I lost all turn signals and emergency flashers. So I went to pep boys , bought some replacement fuses and replaced the flasher fuse, started the car and everthing worked. Tried them again on way home , not working. So I went home disconected all towing lights, reconected all origional wires, lights work fine no more problems. Took it back to same location told him my problem he said he could fix it but it would cost $100 , I told him no thank you , I will get a profesional to do it. Oh and did I mention I only paid $79 origionaly, so now I would have to pay extra to fix the problem they caused. And I never even used it . I was going to call the main office, but after seeing all the negative comments im not going to waste my time, however I will deter anybody I come in contact with to avoid theyre services. Lesson learned, I will start checking reviews.

My telephone number is which is my understanding is my account number, after my reserving a 10ft uhaul truck at Tato's tires at Poinciana Fl 34758 the area in which I live , I don't recall the date feb. 24 possibly ,I didn't think I had to keep records because I thought uhaul would have that info . On the date I was to pick up the truck , it wasn't there so I called uhaul to inform them , they found me another truck at Cindy's flural and stated I would receive a $50 credit because the truck was not at Tato's tires , now I reserved another 10 ft truck at Cindy's floral and uhaul doesn't seem to know anything about the 50 dollar credit, the agent required me to have the totas tire order number , after calling uhaul no one could help me with that info , I'm picking up the truck tomorrow could you help me . I rented a 26 foot U-haul and auto trailer to relocate to California. The tires on the 26 foot U-Haul were bald and in poor condition which resulted in terrible gas mileage. I'm very disappointed as I've had better results in the past. I haven't worked in a few months and having to spend the extra cash for gas didn't help. I'm just grateful I made it safely to my destination.

Paid up for sept 2014. Gave older female employee my access card,lock and contract on 26th of sept 2014. No longer needed storage. She said the paid in full receipt will be emailed.

On Oct 3rd o receive LATE FEES. ON STORSGE THAT I HAD CLOSED. HELP PLEASE. I AM SO WORRIE . My emergency contact received the threat. I still get them

I have used titusville uhaul for 30 years to apply hitches and wireing. I refered a friend and she had a horrible experience. I recently made an appointment for my son to have a reese hitch installed and couldn't remember the appointment time... When I called I had to hang up and regroup because I could not find out the time.... You see privacy act I suppose. However I am the person that made the apt. And used my card to secure the order of this hitch because it was a birthday supprise. Needles to say I have cancelled the entire service and am looking for an alternate locationlocation. I

Uhaul in baton rouge louisiana on airline hwy is the worst place to rent a truck from, they will charge you a extra day without telling you. There services are horrible, the lady constantly talks on the cell phone and don't give you the right information. She has a nasty attitude and she is very slow when it comes to helping custumers. I stood in line for 1 hr with only 2 ppl infront or me. I will never rent from there again

Uhaul tries to charge extra fees anywhere they can. They have horrible customer service reps when I call their 1-800 number. The first time I called I got hung up on and the second time I called I got hung on again. After the third time trying to call there was horrible phone service. It was hard to hear and the rep was straight up rude. She transfer me without even telling me and the department that I got transfer to isn't even working today. Why would you transfer me to a department if I'm going to get hung up on again. She simply could have just told me to call back tomorrow.

Don't use the U-Haul on Bridgeport and south tacoma way in Tacoma WA. They are completely incompetent. I have a f350 with a top of the line tow system. They couldn't get my tow ball off and gave me a complete run around so I canceled my reservation and went to another company. How can a place that installs hitches not be able to work on a hitch or have the tools to do it. I did it myself in less then 5 minutes. I wasted over an hour and a half dealing with them when I made my reservation a week in advance. I will never recommend them to anybody. All they tried to do was sell me more equipment that I didn't need.

What ever you do -- don't use the UHaul Truck Rental Store on Chillum Road, P.G. County, Maryland. There are inexperienced foreign girls working at the counter attempting to BAMBOOZLE whoever they can out of their money (especially through credit cards). The young guy who is in charge will give misleading information by forcing promisory notes on customers when they are not warranted, in order to receive a $30.00 extra fee to put in their own pockets. Lastly, the young people at this store HAVE NO MANNERS--THEY DON'T EVEN GREET YOU WHEN YOU ENTER THE STORE.

Go With Penske Or Budget Truck Rental!!!!they Have More Competitive Rates As Well As Stick Behind Their Product. No One Thinks Of Them. We Rented A 26'uhaul And A Car Carrier From Them, The Experience In Arizona Was Awesome!the Rental Place And Staff Were Not Only Very Professional But Nice As Well And There Is Excellent Storage There. However After Arriving In Indiana There Was Damage Done To Our Vehicle. A Claim Was Submitted, They Turned It Over To "an Insurance Company", Which We Have Since Found Out That They Own Internally, How Convenient. After 3 Weeks Now Of Renting A Car "out Of Pocket" And Getting The "run Around" They Have Determined That The Damage Was There Prior". This Is A Total Lie! Thank Goodness The Car Was At The Dealership Prior To Driving Directly To The U-haul Facility Where It Was Loaded. There Was No Damage Done To That Car Prior To The Trip. All Documentation Was Time And Date Stamped. Our Personal Insurance Company Will Be Going After Them For All Of The Inconvenience. It Has Been A Horrible Experience And I Certainly Hope That Joe Shoen, Ceo Knows What Kind Of People Are Working For His Company. I recently had difficulty with your rental place at Stonegate Self Storage in Davis CA. On Thursday, March 14, I received a call ( that went to my voicemail ) from Stonegate telling me the truck needed to be back that afternoon, regardless of the fact that I had explicitly made reservations to drop it off after hours thursday evening. When I called friday morning to make sure the charges were straight, I was told by the secretary the gentleman who called the previous day was not in and that he would not speak to me because he "didn't like my attitude" and promptly hung up on me. I drove down to Stonegate immediately, as I was afraid Stonegate would going to overcharge me. When I arrived the secretary was there as well as the older gentleman who had called me ( I assume the manager ). A verbal confrontation ensued, in which we both accused each other of not having our information straight. He did end up only charging me for two days instead of three ( which was proper ), but only after he browbeat and lectured me me and told me I did not have my act together. I told him that was a poor way to do business, and that I just wanted my receipt. At the end of the conversation he promised that " I would never ever be able to rent a U-Haul truck from him or any U-Haul rental service ". The secretary then told me to "Shut the F^^^ Up, just shut the f*** up and get out" after he handed my receipt. I told them don't worry, I'll never rent from you again.
In all the times I have rented from U-Haul I have never had this much difficulty. Somebody needs to apologize for this if I am ever going to do business with U-Haul again. ( I think it should be the manager at Stonegate , preferably the older gentleman who yelled at me, who acted more like a prison guard and less like a representative of your company, and the foul-mouthed secretary that morning ).
I am a good customer who has always returned his rental vehicles from you in a timely way and in the condition they went out in. The least I ask for is to be treated with courtesy and respect. The folks at Stonegate showed neither. The folks at AAA Action rental in Guerneville CA never gave me attitude like this. If I don't get an apology my next step will be to reprint this situation in Yelp and whatever online review places I can find, and to tell the rest of my friends ( me and my pals work in sound reinforcement, we rent a lot of trucks ) to choose Ryder or another company.

Customer service?? First, they should call it service avoidance. When you call this # and press 3, nothing happens. If you are patient enough to sit through the message 3 times plus a long silent pause the phone will ring and someone will answer but they can't hear you. They don't give this # in their materials. They only give a roadside assistance #. When you call that and press the # for customer service, you are immediately disconnected.

First time Uhaul User, Last time Uhaul user. 2 weeks ago I reserved a Uhaul truck. When I talked to them they said it was 39.99 and .99 a mile.. I said that sounded great and reserved the Truck. The day of moving I went down there and went through the process and they started showing me the contract then they showed me how I needed to bring the truck back on 5/8 a tank, well that was never explained to me!! So of course I said whatever and took the truck because I needed it that morning!! Before leaving they informed me that they needed a credit card on file and to swipe my card for an Estimated 105.00 they told me my credit card would be on file for. Upon returning the Truck I said I did not want to use the card they had on file. So I used my credit card and was charged 83.63.. When I got home I checked my Bank account and seen I was charged 105.00 and 83.00 on my credit card! I called and they said they charged me the ESTIMATED 105.00 when I took the truck!! Well they didn't say that!!! How can you charge someone an ESTIMATE!!! This company is horrible and I will never use them Again!! Ill use Budget or Ryder!!! I called and they were no help whatsoever!! Go with another company cause these people are horrible!!!!
