I have been on hold for 1 hour and 46 minutes- do you think someone might pick up soon- I have been transferred to 3 different depts. This is an awful customer service line
Read the reviews below to see the experience other people have had when dealing with customer service from KitchenAid.
The first person i spoke to had trouble understanding the concept of lights on the bottom of the microwave illuminating the burners illuminating the range below. When i was eventually able to explain that one of the lights was out on the underside of the microwave and there appeared to be no way for a consumer to replace it, she sent me to another number, 844 200 5440, which did not answer w a live person in about 40 minutes when i hung up.
Others have obviously hadthe same experience. It is unconscionable, and I have no one to advise about this small but annoying problem.
Don't buy this product!!!! Overpriced and it didn't work on the first day that was installed!!!! They sent someone to fix it it is a joke. We have a another issue with a different appliance and they won't fix it for free I was never sooo disappointed and customer service won't take care of it. Buy a different brand its a waste of your money!!!!!
No review of customer service. The Google search brought me to the reviews of customer service with no links to customer service itself. I guess they'd rather be rated than be helpful. The buttons are falling off my $3,000 investment this year and I can "review" but not get customer service.
Seriously, if it's easier to find your need for approval on a web search before actual service, mental help is available, but not at my expense. I hope you work out your corporate/personal issues.
I wonder if customer service really exists.
Good luck getting through to KitchenAid customer service. I have been waiting for 45 minutes (so far) listening to music. Their system does not tell you how long the wait time is or give you any indication of how many other people are ahead of you in the queue. I hate to hang up and lose my place but I have things I need to do.
I waited over 30 minutes to reach KitchenAid and was transferred to a service expert who claimed he could not hear me. I suspect he did this because he did not want to answer my phone call. He said he could not hear me and that I should call back. He did not give a phone number as though he wanted me to waste another 30 minutes.
I am having a lightbulb replaced in my Kitchenaid microwave right now. It took the technician 2 hours to get to the lightbulb with my help. He is out now trying to find a bulb.
This a major error in engineering design I am wondering how long it will take to put it back together? I know the tech will need my help. I am an 85 yo woman who really doesn't have the stamina to do this. But what can I do?
I highly recommend that the design be changed immediately. This should be a very simple procedure and will cost me about $300 to change a lightbulb. For God sake please think people.
I will never purchase another Kitchenaid appliance or recommend one to my family and friends. Shame on you.
BOUGHT 6 KITCHENAID APPLIANCES AND HAD THEM INSTALLED LAST THURSDAY. REGRET IT ALREADY. Can't reach a person to help. Called Whirlpool, got transferred 4 times, then disconnected. Called Kitchenaid - no menu options applicable, runaround. 3 of my appliances are 'panel ready', yet I got no information about size or how to install panels. Received no User guides or warrantee cards for the Trash compactor or Warming drawer. No serial number on the warming drawer at all! Can't fill out warrantees for 2 of the 6 and can't fill out rebate card - have no serial nbrs for 2
2 years and a half ago i got married and for 1st i started buying things for my house!! I knew about kitchen aid and i heard about the mixers i convinced my husband to buy me the classic mixer and the matching blender after a month i decided that i wanted pink so i bought the artisian pink after a month that i had the classic one !!and of course the matching blender ! My husband was so happy to see me happy that decided to buy me everthing pink mini chopper ,pots and pans ,even the toaster even when i do not use the toester that much!! But i bought it to have it in my kitchen!! I used it maybe 5 times in all this time and what was my surprise that a few months ago decided to use it and didnt work!! After so few times of use!! And of course i didnt have warranty ! The same happend to the food proxessor after 3 months of use it broke !! The pans and pots not good quality either! To be honest i decided to spend a little more money than with avrage other brands !! So i was expecting them to last longer ! And thats the thing the quality is about avrage ! I dont know if it was different in the past but now i had 3 experiences before ! My blender ,my food preocesor and now my toaster ! Im very dissapointed because i didnt pay 15 dlls and when i called custumer service and they told me to buy a new one because i would be more expensive than repair the old one!! I feel scammed !! If its more expensive should be because it has better quality !! Not only pretty colors
Ksm150pswh artisan mixer: while whipping a large carton of whipping cream, I noticed black specks throuout cream-immediately dumped it out, saving small glib of grease. Took pictures of affected mixer ( that also had black grease) now wondering how many cookies or chocolate I've had black grease spattered throughout & not noticing. Fearful to use mixer now. Suggestions?
Purchased a Kitchen Aid Self Cleaning built in Oven in November 2014. Used the self cleaning feature twice. The second time the oven didn't clean and the oven went out. We called Kitchen Aid to make an appointment to have a service technician come out to repair the oven. He showed up today July 24, 2015 after waiting without a working oven for two weeks.
The technician said that we should only use the self cleaning feature every 3 years. Yes, every 3 years or we will have to replace the memory board on the oven at our cost. I have waited 11 years to buy a self cleaning oven and this is what garbage I get. Kitchen Aid needs to recall these self cleaning built in ovens. It is not right that the consumer has to go through waiting for repair technicians and costly repairs. KA knows there is a problem with these ovens.
I am sad to agree with many reviews regarding KA quality. My 3 month old Hand mixer is useless for most baking mixing tasks. The RPMs are too low to adequately do a mixing job. They may be at 690 (information given by customer service), but it is not enough. The Online Chat person was courteous, but unable to help me. What I would like is a refund and to purchase a cheaper brand, similar to the one I had for 15 years, and that did the job. My investment is a pittance compared to some of the reviewers with faulty KA fridges, cooktops, and ovens. My lesson has been: do not rely on previous quality of a company, do online research regardless of the item you need. The one reviewer held the key to KA quality: 'Once KA was sold to Whirlpool, the quality plummeted'. My sympathies to all the unfortunate customers who purchased based on past ownership of KA.
