Expedia is the worst f--king company I have ever delt with. I will be spending my waking days on social media, miserable bunch of douche bags. Every single day I will be trashing this piece of you know what company. The hotel will not like me after I leave, they want to do business with Expedia, they can except the results of my visit.
When youre giving information to people in the United States for trips outside of the country, you need to tell them the number that you are giving them isnt toll-free number. I was told it was!!! I'm stuck with a bill for an extra $40 on my cell phone because your employee supposedly gave me a toll free number & wasn't to make pick up trans arrangements w/ Dominican Republic!!! Your customer service needs to be retrained. I'm very upset!!!! I'm getting stuck with an extra $40 bill for calls that I made to a number that an individual at your company gave me! I will be making a statement on your site on dissatisfaction.
I called yesterday because of a change of flight. I didn't get the one I wanted so settled for the one I was given. Today I received an email that asked me if iwanted the original one. I do but am afraid I passed the 24 hr cancellation policy. Also I printed out the itenarary and my name is wrong. It should be Robert C Stewart. As written it is Robert Srewart. Both the middle initial is missing and the last name is wrong. Please fix.
Question: why cant we reach Expedia reps, in New Zealand? when there is a problem with the bookings, ( problems of any kind ) in order to talk to a person speaking English like we do (!)
meaning: no problems off communication and understanding! Often it comes to... "I cant understand you" from either person. ( the caller and the customer service rep.) and frustration will mostly end a conversation.
Solving a problems often leeds to a frustrating end and you ( the caller ) hangs up, or the customer receives a token, to be redeemed at your next booking. I my opinion that is not fair or correct and dose not solve a recurring problem. Speaking for my selves dont want the token, ( money or points ) I like to have that mostly easy problem resolved and not incurring again. This is the reason for me, calling , writing, via their website or speaking to a person I can not understand.
Well Expedia this is a problem only you can solve ( if you want ) and be proactive.

I booked at westgate resort Orlando Fl in Oct 1st -5th.However due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew to Bahamas and to Fl i cancelled the booking for West gate 1 day earlier as well as my rented car. I rented from Alamo and was told that they couldnot give me a refund for 1 day . I was asked to contact your company.I am asking for the one day refund .Please assist me in this matter

Recently booked with Expedia and due to health had to cancel. Had their insurance and my call immediately answered. Insurance forms were sent via email the next day, filled out and returned as soon as Doctor form completed. They advised when they received them and within 2 days approved and checks were sent for my wife and I. Fantastic service.
Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my life!! Zero compassion and total run around by every person who clearly reads from a manual & will not help in any way!! Do not use Expedia go to another source or directly to airline or hotel!! EXEDIA is worst kind of scam artists on our planet!!

I think my booking to air asia november 30 to December 03 round trip ticket not successful but the expedia.com would deducted my booking and for using expedia. I have been using expedia for years without a problem. The past trip I took required customer service. The staff was polite and seemed to be accommodating, but after repeated calls I was either cut off or ignored. I am disappointed and considering another travel site for future trips.
I booked a hotel reservation through your company and ended up having to cancel. Called the hotel directly ( which I will do in the future so as to never use you guys again EVER). They said I had to call you directly. Since you have NO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR WEBSITE, I called the number provided. Which after being on hold for 13 minutes- no music or anything to let me know I was still ON hold;,called back to be sure and was on hold AGAIN- I finally spoke to an actual human. Who gave me ANOTHER number to call. On hold WAY TOO LONG AGAIN. Finally get another human ( off shore call center, of course) who told me because I was still not outside the "penalty " time, they could cancel with a full refund ( after all this and feeling a bit scammed I called my credit card company and blocked Expedia from incurring ANY charges). I did receive a cancellation email. Finally. Actual customer SERVICE ( although one of the numbers I called CLAIMED to be customer service).
I will NEVER use Expedia again. I believe, possibly by design, you deliberately make it difficult to cancel ( not true MAKING the reservation, however: she waited for me to go all the way out to my car for the credit card. " This is the LAST room available...."). I'm sure plenty of people miss the penalty and don't cancel in time and you guys ding their card ANYWAY. Or they get confused with all the phone numbers ( which took some effort to find. PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE SO PEOPLE CAN FIND IT EASILY. You discourage cancelling in a subtle, deceptive way. You annoyed and angered me. I'm only one guy, but with the internet and enough other annoyed, angered people, your reputation could be tarnished. I will not recommend you to anyone. Ever......
Recently i booked a ticket with Expedia worth 320 USD and cancelled it within 24 hours due to some reasons. They sent me email that it will be refunded to me in full. It's been 20 days since i cancelled but haven't got any refund, can somebody give me idea if i will ever get the refund or is it worth contacting the customer service? Booked a room through Expedia. You booked us in a handicap room. Not needed. Never requested. The room was right under breakfast area. At 6 A.M the noise began, continued for hours. Not pleasant. Not happy. The hotel was very helpful and moved us to a better room. I don't need this hassle.
Back in December 2015 I booked a trip with Expedia. I canceled that very week on a phone and never got a written confirmation from Expedia. I called again, because Expedia charged me $ 5146.43 and did not refund. The customer service rep with poor English assured me that it would be refunded. Now it is October 2016 - after months and months of tel. calls with their customer service and my credit company - I still did not get my money back or any explanation what really happened! Please help!!!!!!! I suspect that somebody in Philippines, in Expedia customer service department took my money and never recorded the fact that I cancelled my trip! I can not talk to your customer service - it is a real waste of time, they are oversease and they are not helpful, opposite, they are rude and not flexibale and looks like they are covering somebody's scam! Thx!
