I have been on hold for almost 4 hours. This is not acceptable, even with a large call volumn. I need to cancel a reservation for tonight.

I tried to use Expedia to book a hotel reservation for tomorrow. It is a very busy travel time due to storms in the area so when the website would never let my reservation go through, I finally had to use the phone number and call a live agent. She informed me that the hotel in Albany, GA that I was trying to book (because Expedia said it had a vacancy) would not go through because it was actually full, but another was available. She said she had another in Albany so I made the reservation. When the email confirmation came I noticed that she had booked me a hotel in Albany, NEW YORK instead of Albany, GEORGIA. She had said the room would be billed to my card, so I called back. I was on hold for ONE HOUR and TWENTY EIGHT MINUTES and never any response. I finally had to call the hotel in New York and explain the situation and get them to cancel it for me. Now all the other hotels I was looking at are full because I stopped looking, thinking that it was all settled. Now i have no reservation and no more confidence in Expedia.

Worst customer service EVER! Was on hold for 3 hours with customer service waiting for a rep to cancel a reservation. Never did get to speak with anyone. This was my first time booking with Expedia & I can assure you it will be my last!

I attempted to book a flight through Expedia today. After receiving a message "Can't book now. Try later", I gave up and booked my flight directly with Southwest. I checked my bank card statement tonight and found a total of $312 in charges for heaven only knows what. After searching for 30 minutes, I finally found a "customer service" number. The lady with whom I spoke was not an "English as first language" person. She spoke with a heavy accent and spoke very rapidly. I asked four times for her to speak more slowly to no avail. I was finally given "codes" to provide my bank for rebates of the charges. While there were 24 total charges, I was only given 16 codes. I shall never use Expedia again--or should I say I shall never attempt to use Expedia. I am quite sure they finance their organization by using hidden charges to offset the costs of the cheap flights. I feel a call to my attorney is in my future.

My Cousin booked a room at Days Inn in Warren MI today and She was suppose to have a honeymoon package. The hotel booked does not have a Kitchen. So this is not possible.

I have been not he phone right now for 36 mins-10 of that on hold while the woman is trying to transfer me to a supervisor. And I do not have a complicated case. it should have taken 2 mins. Is this what you call your customer service? I have been a member for years. I'm appalled.

TERRIBLE service if you have any problems. You will get connected to India to Indians that DO NOT speak English very well. Low cost call centers for Expedia. NEVER NEVER use Expedia if there is ANY chance of a changed booking.

Worst customer service I have ever had in my life... They were responsible for a refund that I was told was now my problem and should go directly to American Airlines for help... American Airlines was amazing. Will never book anything through these idiots again. ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT.

So glad I could get this phone number from your site. Once I called the representative was very helpful, cancelled and rebooked a flight for me and processed the refunds. Her name was Mel. She said that the Expedia website had a glitch about providing the customer service phone number, and it was reported to her supervisor.

I've been trying for hours to get a hotel confirmation from Expedia for Ameristar Hotel in Vicksburg on 8/10/16. I made the reservation online and expected to get an email confirmation. I can't wait for a 24 hr reply.

0I made a reservation for super 8 in delavan wi. When I checked out, only there one night, she said my charge was $141.00, when I asked for a hard copy, she said she could not give me one. When my credit card bill came out, I was charged $181.00 for one night!!! Can't talk to anyone that can give me an answer! Never again!!!

Bad experience with expedia. Young rep named Sam is incompetent she turned a fairly simple task into a nightmare on [email protected] am. We had a reservation for a rate that was refundable we happened to see our confirmed rate was now cheaper but still refundable. Sam was the rep we received when we called Expedia on 8/1 we explained we saw the price was now lower ut still a rate that was refundable. Herein lies the problem, she proceeded to find a price lower that she said was refundable, cancelled the other booking and gave us the new the new reservation and said after she made the change that this price ws non- refundable.When we told her that is not what we requested she said she would cancel this, then proceeded to send 200 + cancellation emails and a email saying they would be charging us 797.00 for cancelling. This is unacceptable way of doing business for a .com that adverrises special rates. Does the Better Business Bureau need to be contacted and investigate your business practices.

I checked my booking: they put me in a smoking room with one bed. Called customer support: they immediately fixed it. They couldn't have been nicer.

When I called I found out that this was a Canadian phone # of Expedia, and there were Canadian rates with fees for changing into American dollars. I am an An American trying to make a reservation for an American hotel.

I just got a call from my relative in new Zealand that she lost her passport, we had purchased a ticket for her to fly on 27th this month from New Zealand to LA. I wonder if we can postponed her flight till she gets a passport? Please advisethanks.

I will never use Expedia again. I was put in a smoking room and neither the hotel nor Expedia will do anything about it. Neither will issue a refund. I called customer support. No support! i was given an international call center - probably in India. I have never been treated so poorly. I have been a loyal Expedia customer since they began. Never again!

Your communicating with your client with your own language how can i understand all the details you sent. Your dealing globally maybe next time make it a point that your clients understands everything. So disappointing. Booking with you is like putting me in a hot seat

The worse company. I have credit with Virgin. I have been on the phone for 1 hour 11 minutes and they keep transferring me, they don't know how to book a flight with credit. I will never use them again ever!!!!
