Hello my husband and I purchased brand new GE refrigerator dishwasher and stove initially our refrigerator was delivered damaged it makes a very loud noise we could not use it so we lost a lot of food they said the earliest day that we could get a New refrigerator delivered wouldn't be for about six days which was a Tuesday of this past week we got a call Saturday morning prior to Tuesday while we are out of the state that our fridge raider is being delivered we had to cancel that delivery and told them that the delivery date was Tuesday they came out this past Tuesday Yesterday with another refrigerator in the whole back of it was dented after they took it out of the unvented unwrapped unharmed box we are again sent that back the guy that delivered it said that he would set up a new delivery date but we do not know when that is and we're very unhappy that we are unsatisfied with the first delivery of a broken refrigerator you would think they would make sure that the next refrigerator was in perfect condition general electric is definitely failing in their inspection process prior to deliveries.

We have been GE customers since 1964,when the self cleaning oven came out.About 3 yrs.ago we updated our kitchen with Cafe stainless steel appliances. Love all of them,but the cafe refrigator is driving us nuts!!!It runs constantly and of course we had a tech look at it and said;it was normal.Our electric bills went up and the General Electric refrigerator we gave our daughter is so quiet and running perfectly. If,it decides to shut off,it not ever more than hour.Please help us.

HI,
I specifically mentioned that the technician will need a hose for repairs. The customer service rep told me that she is making a note of it. The repair technician came later than the scheduled day and didn't bring the hose. He said that he wasn't told about that. This is so frustrating. I expected better from GE Customer Service.

Have tried for 2 months to get GE Profile dishwasher repaired for what I keep telling Customer Service women that it is a HEALTH and SAFETY issue, no one wants to acknowledge that such a dangerous situation exists. Problem: The rubber gasket on circumference of coarse stainless steel filter at bottom of DW has literally MELTED, decomposed, pieces broken off, and a disgusting haze has formed on interior of DW, as well as has gotten on our dishes! Goodness knows what disgusting toxins we have been exposed to.
Gave up on GE (women were only interested in telling me that machine was no longer under warranty, which I already knew, was not looking for GE to repair it free, ,just wanted a solution since item no longer exists as in the original, and wanted also for GE to take responsibility and send out a RECALL,, to alert unsuspecting consumers of the danger. NO ONE helped, so I got DW repaired through Sears, and have filed with Consumer Protection Agency, as well as Consumer Reports. I have over 24 photos to support what I am stating, also mailed to the CPA. I don't belong to social media or I would have posted for sure.

I keep trying to reach appliance repair but am told it is not available (call back later). I seek information as to how I can restore water flow in the water dispenser when pressed in the in-door dispenser of my GE refrigerator.

I purchased ge dryer in 1969 and it is still working today. Never been repaired and still doing great. Thpught you might want to use this info someway. Fixing to move and plan on purchasing new one.

I purchased insurance on my appliance in July, 2016. In August, 2016, I callled GE for a repair person to fix my ice maker and the stopped up tube in the door that dispenses water. When the repairman arrived, he said that he would order a new door b/c the tube was frozen and was not repairable.



When that door arrived, Pilot Shipping dumped the door in my driveway in a box that was torn apart and taped to a flat. Then, Pilot finally picked it up. When the second door was delivered, the repairman installed it and did repair the water dispenser tube but said the door was not compatible with the ice maker so he ordered another door. Several weeks passed, and TWO DOORS arrived. The repairman returned, but neither one of these was compatible. After speaking with another repairman, he said he would order an adapter to make the ice maker dispense properly. When that part arrived, another repairman arrived and installed the part. He also worked with the ice maker and said it should be delivering ice by nightfall. That was the first week of January!!! No ice yet!



I contacted an agent at Assurance Sokutions after no one ever contacted me about scheduling another repair. When the GE representative called after the repairman had installed the part and had supposedly repaired the ice maker , I told her that we STILL had no functioning ice maker.



After not hearing from anyone for about three weeks, I stayed on the line for 35 minutes yesterday, waiting to talk to an agent at Assurance Solutions. She finally answered and said she could schedule me another repairman, but they were backed up. Feeling as if I should be placed in the front of the line since I have been waiting SINCE AUGUST, I asked to be connected with a supervisor. I held on until my phone read ONE HOUR AND FIVE MINUTES!! I hung up.



I am currently AGAIN HOLDING ON. I have waited and am convinced that they must have my number flagged as "don't answer this one."

Is this any way to treat a customer who paid $3,600.00 for your appliance? I have tried to talk to your customer service people, but they tell me that they are no longer responsible for the account; Assurance Solutions is responsible!! Really??! The GE representative sold me the policy. I am tired of being treated like a ping pon ball. When is someone going to be responsible for my refridgerator? Do I need to ask for legal help? I am tired of dealing with this. My husband has been fighting Stage IV cancer for THREE YEARS, and I am sick of buying ice ever 2 - 3 days.

A compliment to GE. Our 45 year old GE upright frost free freezer just "died" !It was purchased in 1971 and has lived in 3 different houses. model number is CAF 16CLB. Thought you would like to know. Needless to say, we were very pleased with your product! Barbara McComb

I have a GE microwave and the lamp in the oven burned out. I read the owners manual to see how to change the lamp and there is no reference to the lamp in the oven so I called your customer service, after waiting 21 minutes I was transferred to a person. The person I spoke to could not give me the information I need and put me on hold(several times) to get more help. After almost an hour on the phone I was told that I can't access the lamp in this model and I will have to call a technician to change the lamp. I am retired and living on SS and can't afford to pay a service tech to replace a lamp. This is a very poor design for a consumer product and as you know lamps burn out long before the product needs to be replaced. My wife and I will now have to live with the oven without a lamp BUT we will tell our friends and relatives about this experience with this GE product and suggest they not buy your products in the future.

my parents had a tech out to repair a freezer, when the tech came out he immediately said the gasket is the reason why ice in the freezer was melting he put on a new gasket a day later the gasket didn't seal tech came back out and resealed the gasket and told my parents not to open the door for at least 24hours, my mom went to get food out about 3 days later and the freezer had completed defrosted, they were charged $284.49...tech came back out at which time he advised that the freezer was gone out (20yr freezer) I had to fight with GE to reimburse the $284.49 and they only want to compensate $100 for loss of food, but if the tech had investigate on the 1st visit the food in the freezer could have been removed....I spoke with a manager Aisha and when I asked for her boss she stated no other managers were available. I asked to be given the phn number for the corporate office and nobody seems to know it. and trying to find a phone number for complaints has proven to almost be impossible..i am going to report this to the better business bureau

I was extremely dissatisfied with a recent 7/1/2016 GE service call from beginning to end. The lack of preparedness from the technician to the rude, unprofessional and uncooperative demeanor and lack of effective communication skills from GE personnel was overwhelming and unacceptable!

GE products are NOT what they were 20 years. I bought a dryer in Jan.2016. It quit working April 28. It is June 14, and I still do NOT have a working dryer after 3 trips by repairman and a promise from GE Consumer Relations two weeks ago, I would be getting a new one. Calling customer relations does NO good. They promise you things or HANG UP on you(pretending not to be able to hear you).

I been trying get my rebate check since 12/14/15. It is on a microwave I had to replace. I talked and emailed several times. No return calls and email. The last time was she told me to go and purchase me a microwave and what to do next. Which I mailed her the top of the Good Will Certificate and purchase receipt on 12/14/15. . Oven has stopped about three times and each time there is a three to five day waiting period. Each time there is the same excuse, do not have the part in stock. this is without ever seeing the stove. Problem could be thermostat, heating element, or a number of other things. Service rep arrives in three to five days, checks the stove and then orders the part....another three to five days and bill is always well over $200. This time I have been down a week already and service rep. called about 7:30 and changed his arrive time from 8:00 to 12:00 on the 8th until 12:00 until 5:00 on the 8th. Have called service three times and each time I am told I would receive a call back. No call back in last four days. Can anyone help? News media will be my next stop. Respectfully, Jim Couch

Dear Sirs,
My daughter recently purchased a dishwasher & micro from your factory. She was not informed that you also did installations. When she did find out they it was too late to have your techs to do it. which we would have gladly used them. she bought it for for a Xmas gift.so now i have a dishwasher & microwave sitting in my dining room. All my appliance are GE & I have always bougth your appliances, because of your excellent service & the products reliabilty. I am so disappointed that I feel like returning these items & going somewhere else where people stant behind their products. I also purchased my daughters entire kitchen appliances for her new house about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. My order was placed on december 2nd. if you could possilbly recommend someone that can install these for me? I'm in a real jam here & totally disgusted. Thank you, Lori McGowan

the surface light blew out so as i went to replace it i saw the bulb was hanging downn i went to get it out and a large spark flew out of the socket and now the microwave does not work.

van vreedes in Oshkosh sold us a washer and dryer washer no xgtwn4250dws the washer only gets 7-8 inches of water in it that is not enough to clean farm clothes and blankets or rugs they told us that this model would fill up with lots more water the salesman even said he had to go to school for this but the manager now is trying to get out of taking these back and making it right by lying and saying he told us which I would have never bought it if he would of told me that you cant wash blankets or rugs or even jeans in 6-7 inches of water my husband worked for alliance laundray systems for over 12 years and made washers and dryers and he knows all about them why are the doing this to us we want one that fills up with water. can you help us or do we have to call the BBB AND ACTION 4 NEWS CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY? We purchased our GE washer in June of this year. I was washing my mattress cover and it got stuck under the agitator. It got black stuff on it and tore a couple small holes in it. I have talked with different individuals at GE. Had a repair man come. Nothing wrong with machine they said. Why did this happen then. The woman I spoke with today said they will not pay for my new cover and I must had washed it wrong. Really, I have been doing laundry for over 40 years and never had this issue with a machine. I will never buy another GE washer and your customer service is terrible. You do not stand behind your products. You should had paid for my cover and hopefully it does not happen again but now I have posted bad reviews and will not purchase another GE appliance.

Do not buy GE appliances!!!! Had dryer for year and quit working, very poor customer service and finding repairs!
