I have a GE microwave and the lamp in the oven burned out. I read the owners manual to see how to change the lamp and there is no reference to the lamp in the oven so I called your customer service, after waiting 21 minutes I was transferred to a person. The person I spoke to could not give me the information I need and put me on hold(several times) to get more help. After almost an hour on the phone I was told that I can't access the lamp in this model and I will have to call a technician to change the lamp. I am retired and living on SS and can't afford to pay a service tech to replace a lamp. This is a very poor design for a consumer product and as you know lamps burn out long before the product needs to be replaced. My wife and I will now have to live with the oven without a lamp BUT we will tell our friends and relatives about this experience with this GE product and suggest they not buy your products in the future.
