I am trying to get a concern address by Duke Enegy corporate office about an issue I am having with one of its conglomerates , dpu utilities providers in Orangeburg , South Carolina. For consecutive months my ultility bill has been nearing $ 500 per month. Dpu said it is because of my usage ,but I do not think that is accurate. They have no reasonable answer for it . My service has been interrupted twice and my elderly sick parent lived me and I had to find an alternate source of heating to insure her health. A technician has come out and check my gas meter but he claimed it was working properly. So what is the reason for my high bills? Are they misreading the meter readings. Every time I question them I receive a different answer . It is ridiculous. Please assist me if you can If not please direct me to where I can get help .

Repair service is horrendous. I called in outage around 5 am. Around 10am I receive text power was restored! That was a lie! The power was not restored. Do I reported outage again. 4 hours later there are still no crews in Waterloo SC when I was already told crews had been dispatched. Nor does Waterloo SC or Lauren's county show on your outage map. I just came back from driving around looking for downed lines/transformers etc and Duke Rnergy crews. No crews are in the area nor could I find the damage. You need to put the lines underground since you are unable to maintain them above ground and how about clear cutting?

You were doing work in my area which included digging in my back yard. There are still open holes there and one hole covered by a piece of plywood. It's been like this several weeks now.

Duke energy is a farse! Resorts up but tiny little snowbird areas out still! Seriously annually people live there! Way past 12am friday! Who is paying for my losses! Not duke energy!

I have NEVER been treated so horrible by FLORIDA Duke Energy! They were Rude, Disrespectful, and Nasty.They didn't care about my son's health issues and said and I quote "That's NOT my problem"! Thank You North Carolina for you kindness and fixing this issue. You are a True Blessing and I truly appreciate it! As for Duke Energy in Florida, I will pray for you and hope you understand that people have problems and feelings!

This is absolutely the WORST company I have ever seen. You cannot contact a live person by phone to ask a question. They do everything by push one, push two, etc. Tried to contact someone reference purchasing their LED light bulbs for a church, and was given a number which directs your back to a carrousel, again never being able to speak with a live person..

Having a terrible time getting to talk to anyone with authority to help us. Duke is denying a money order payment we made last Monday and an ebill is being put on our account. I need an immediate call from a supervisor ASAP. We have been customers for over 20?years this is very disturbing!

Customer service does not exist online or by phone.i am a 15 year commercial customer. Duke Energy is clueless when it comes to customer service. Understaffed to answer calls or to reinstate service in a timely manor. Tell the President he should run for office in the White Home. He is not able to run a regional power company will any class.

Duke sucks. My account was charged almost $500 I was paying 200 when I called them they said that it should been able to be credited back to my account when it was pending. I was told that I had to wait until it was processed. I was supposed to get a refund check in the mail that was mailed on January 8 . It is now the 22nd and I have not received my money. I called today and they told me that the earliest that they can send a new check out is February 8, so call back then. If I don't pay my bill my service will be cut off, but I have to wait over a month for my money. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I have tried for over two weeks and I have not been able to connect to the Duke-Energy web site. I thought I paid my bill by phone on 12/21 but my checking account has not been debited. The phone recording said I was being charged an extra $3.50 convenience fee. I received a bill in the mail postmarked 12/21 with a due date of 12/21. I will mail a check including the late fee. It should not be this difficult to pay a simple bill.

Thank you. The advice to keep pressing "0" until I reached a real person was good. In a few minutes I had a helpful customer service person on the line, who is sending me (today) the application I need to have my bills paid automaticly.
