Toyota of Bellevue:

I bought my 2015 truck at Toyota of Seattle as you did not have a TRD PRO in Inferno paint when I was looking for one. I thought I would bring it to you for service, but I was very disappointed to hear the your technician "Eddie" identified that my Toyota Tacoma roof rack on my Toyota Tacoma was considered an"after market" product. I suppose my Toyota air shocks, Toyota exhaust, and Toyota bead lock tires are "aftermarket" as well. In fact I suppose my TRD PRO inferno paint is "after market" as well.

Oh My God what if the whole Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO I bought is not really a Toyota, but an after market product. Oh I am so printing this on the TRD forum sites. Toyota of Bellevue says the TRD Pro line is not a Toyota, but an after market product. I have it in writing on my service paperwork. Eddie the Toyota technician said it is true so it is.

Your service tech "Eddie" has taught me a lesson: Do not buy a Toyota and do not have a car serviced by Toyota of Bellevue. Eddie identified the water leaking into my Toyota truck with 12000 miles on it, well within warranty, but Eddie refused to correct the water leak as my Toyota Tacoma roof rack on my Toyota Tacoma is an after market product. I feel bad about this because Yakima makes better roof racks. If I was going to buy after market I would have gone a different direction then the crappy Toyota rack.

Eddie did say that the water was leaking into my Toyota Tacoma, apparently from my Toyota Tacoma roof rack on my Toyota Tacoma. I guess I should have purchased a ford as I believe the ford technicians are capable of identifying ford parts and clearly Toyota technicians can not. Well to be fair I told him water was leaking into the cab from the roof Rack so he really did not do anything.

I brought my truck to you this time to see how well you would do on servicing it. You are closer to my home then Toyota of Seattle. Toyota of Bellevue has proven to be everything people despise in a auto dealer. You did very poorly and I will need to take my truck to Seattle for service from now on.

I make a lot of money and I would not have minded paying your ridiculous service costs due to the convenience, but when you refuse to do something as simple as put a rubber plug or silicone sealer in a hole in the roof of a Toyota Tacoma in a Toyota roof channel under a Toyota Tacoma roof rack you have proven you do not care about your customers or your product.

I meet a lot of people everyday. I meet people from all over the world as well as here in the Seattle area. Tomorrow alone I will have meetings which will include 75 or 80 people at a time. Because of this experience, and my complete repulsion of a technician who would walk away from a brand new product knowing the issues water damage creates, I will take every opportunity to tell people that the service department at Michael Toyota is horrible and they would be better off paying less money for higher quality service anywhere else. I will also remind them that the service department is a reflection of the product and Toyota quality is clearly slipping if Toyota of Bellevue is the example of service. Clearly Toyota of Bellevue is completely incompetent and could not care less about their product or customer.

I want to further point out that your technician, "Eddie" who could not identify a Toyota Tacoma roof rack on a Toyota Tacoma, did claim to have rotated the tires on my Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO which, in fact, are "after market" as I have snow tires and wheels, with less then 3000 miles, on my Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO right now. I will put the original Toyota bead lockers wheels and tires that came on the TRD PRO back on now that ski season is over. Then Eddie would call them "After Market" wheels and tires and refuse to rotate them. I actually do not believe Eddie did rotate the tires, but the paperwork implies he did. He clearly did not identify the wheels and tires as "after market" because he is incompetent and can not identify Toyota parts. Well If the Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO is a Toyota!

I will now do what Eddie is too incompetent to do. I will take the Toyota Tacoma Roof Rack off the Toyota Tacoma it came on and I will fill in the holes that came in the Toyota Tacoma, from the factory. Holes your technician "Eddie" is too incompetent to fill in. I am likely far more competent at a human being and auto mechanic then Eddie will ever dream of being and filling in holes under the roof rack will not be much of a challenge; well except for Eddie and the rest of you incompetents at Toyota of Bellevue.

I will also write to Toyota of America and explain to them that Toyota of Bellevue is intentionally allowing cars to leave without being properly repaired. Let them know that Toyota of Bellevue is perfectly happy with Toyota products that leak and Toyota of Bellevue is not capable of identifying Toyota products. I will ask them why Toyota of Bellevue is not capable of identifying the parts The Toyota Company of America has allowed Toyota of Bellevue to represent.

Have a very incompetent day, but then you clearly always do,
