all of sudden my i cannot access facebook, but all other websites are open. its not blocked- i just cannot get to it. its down i suppose.

The new layout flat out sucks! Is there any way to change back to the old layout? it was so much easier to use. This new one is way too complicated. Why not leave things as they are instead of changing it up all the damn time?

I am totally disappointed. I loved FB but I can't log in and update my status or respond to anyone--so it's useless to me. I wanted to let someone know I'm having the problem--I emailed the info@facebook.com link and nothing. Opening a myspace.

After 12 hours of being down and being discouraged reading all these frustrated posts, I was able to send an e-mail through the Facebook help page. I clicked on the heading for login and passwords. In there I found a link for the maintenance error. In that answer, there is a secondary link buried that gives you the option to email for help. I sent an e-mail and a few hours later when I got home from work, my Facebook was back. Hope that works for your mom. It was done for the better part of the day - but the good news is mine came back. Maybe my experience will give her hope. So sorry about her cancer battle.

Woke up this morning and went to send my mom a message and her account was "down for maintenance". However, he face is missing from all her old posts.
I called her to inform her of the issues and she was and still is very upset. Being sick with the beginning stages of lung cancer, this is her way of staying in touch with friends and family, bragging about her grand kids, and networking her arts and crafts she creates to pass the time.
I myself sent a letter to FB to complain, but I am really scared that her page is lost forever... She deleted her myspace earlier this week, because she thought FB was more usuer friendly, but it appears that at least myspace was more people friendly.
Any suggestions??? thanks

My account is out of sevice for maintence. I have not been able to log on to my acount!! If I don't get back on I'LL TELL ALL OF MY FREINDS TO STOP USING FACEBOOK!! AND THAT INCLUED EVERONE THAT EVEN ASKS ABOUT IT!! From all of the comments, in this forem their's alot of peaple like me

I just got the same error message today - account maintenance. It took all day to try to find a way to contact customer service on Facebook. I did not do anything to violate their terms either. I sent an e-mail to infoa@, but based on everyone's comments in this thread, I don't expect to hear back from them. I'm going to chalk it up to - you get what you pay for. I'll live without Facebook if that's the service they want to give. And I'll tell 10 other people as well.

My personal profile is still up, but I started a company page for my kids clothing line and it mysteriously disappeared last night. Just sent my first email, but am worried I'll get no response after seeing posting after posting complaining about their customer service. When I click the link, it just say its unavailable. Doesn't show the company page. I would prefer a number to call for tech support or customer service.

To Facebook , I really think it's not fair that you delete people or have someone report you over pictures . As in my case someone reported me saying I send them X rated pictures and it's not true . If thats the case need to check on ever one profile and take your pictures and quizs . They are very nasty to see that on line for people and kids to see . So I like to have my Facebook back because if not thats fine . I found out From Ga. that Facebook is charging $19.95 a month March the 1 . If thats the case , I'm not paying a dime for it , and I will tell other people I know . It was all over the News in Ga . And found out to in Tennessee you are charging $3.99 . So I hope people out there learn and say NO . Like I say companys in this world trying to get money out of hard working people , '' TRUST NO ONE '' !!! Thank you and have a good day .
