I decided to leave my current provider due to no coverage where I work. A coworker mentioned Straight Talk and they use the Verison network. I did some checking to find a phone that could be used with Straight Talk and still use the Verison towers. I followed all of their instructions and made sure that the phones I was interested were compatible with the network. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy SIII, which Straight Talk sells. They are now telling me that this phone is not compatible with Straight Talk. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I was speaking to one. Still could not get the phone to use the verison chip with the CDME card from the BYOP starter pack. I checked and made sure the EIN number of the phones were compatable with Straight Talk, i even contacted customer service to make sure and was told my phones would work. So called manager was unwilling to help except to say my phone was incompatable with Straight Talk. When I asked for the corporat number the individual did not know it. When I questioned how he could be a manager and not know corporates number he hung up on me. I have 3 co-workers that have Straight Talk with their existing Verison phones and have no trouble. His advice was to take the starter kit back to Wal Mart for a refund and do the same with the phones. I just want my phones to work and be able to use the services they offer.

I Am Very Dissatisfied With The Support Service That I Have Received. I Have Been Trying To Have Service Transferred From One Straight Talk Phone To Another Straighttalk Phone For 10 Days, And Am Now Told That It May Take Up To 48 Hours Before I May Receive Service. This Is After Purchasing 6 New Phones And Returning Them. There Has Been No Resolve Even After Customer Service Changed My Service To Verizon Wireless Without Consulting Me. I Am Truly Considering Transferring My Service To Another Company But Cant Until This Matter Has Been Resolved That I May Continue To Have My Current Phone Number.

This is by far the worst company EVER... They EVERY month take more money out of our bank account than they are suppose to, when I call them, EVERY month to get it straighten out I am on the phone no less than an hour, they ALL lie to me, and it doesn't matter I who you speak with, manager or not, none of them are smart enough to stop the problem from re-occurring. I am going to take legal action and see if they are smart enough to get it "straight".....I am so sick of this company and their lies every month...

My daughter gave me her old smartphone and wanted to try the Straight Talk plan. they advertise that we can keep our number and bring our own phone. So i buy an activation kit ($62) and call to get it activated. Lady says it can take up to 2 days to be activated. On my 2nd day of waiting i call customer service to see what was the problem. the first guy couldn't even pull up my account and hung up on me because i grew irate from waiting an hour for nothing. So i call back and say forget about keeping my own number and just give me a number so that i can activate this phone. They couldn't even do that. So i paid $62 dollars for nothing. I want my money back and can't find any webpage that can help me get to the right people. This just don't make no sense!

This is a rip off company. My teenage daughter has a plan and did not have the money to activate the phone for a couple of months and got a job so i agreed to activate it with my credit card and the company had given away the number and therefor added my money to her number that someone else is using. They refuse to return our money. I have put a stop payment on my credit card. They refuse to let you talk with management, when asked why, they don't have management in the building. . .

All Phones In My Area Have Been Off For 6 Days Now. I Need To Be Contacted With A Reason As To Why My Phone Is Not Working!!! It Will Flash A Very Quick Message Call Restriction Number 34. Now I Pqid My Bill Back In July Conf,. Ishouldn't Have Any Restrictions Whatsoever. I Want My Phone Reinstated Immediately And Followed Up With A Call Back To Mr Immrdiately. Straight talk is theeeee worst company u can possibly go with!!!! ...Yeah u think 45 a month is cheap compared to contract prices since u have unlimited everything, but what u dont know is it does u no good whatsoever to have unlimited everything when u cant get signal in the middle of walmart or in city limits let alone outside city limits. And everytime u call customer service all u ever get is someone who can barely speak 5 words of english. And can NEVER get anywhere. Recently got the straight talk conversation kit/bring ur own phone, got it home got online to activate like it says on packaging. Turns out u cannot transfer ur old phone number to ur new phone in any way . ....SO to anyone who gets the kit DO NOT DO IT ONLINE! call them before u even touch the new simcard and tell their dumbasses to switch it! ....And also to anyone researching wondering if they should get straight talk or not, NO!!!!! U CANT GET SIGNAL TO SAVE UR LIFE. and their phones freeze glitch and shut themselves off very freaking often. Just looked on their site of reviews and they have 1800 complains and 125 satisfied. Just to let yall know.

This is Elaine Huston in Scottsbluff,Ne. I had to change my credit card account .Someone was getting payment that was not supposed to.I won't have a new card for two-three weeks. Is there an address where I can send a check. I live alone and can not be without my phone. I do enjoy my straight talk phone and service.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had from a company. I told the rep that my phone kept freezing up on every application that I used and when calling someone. He wanted me to uninstall all my apps. Said the problem wasn't with the phone but it was with the app. I told him it does it with all the apps and when I'm calling someone. He said the same thing. Then said that he could do a hard reset which then I would lose everything I had on the phone. I just hung up and got no where. Don't use straight talk if you can help it.

I have been on the phone for 30 minutes .2 service reps have disconnected my chat session as i was typing. My phone was deactivated . I have auto withdrawal from my bank and there is almost 900$ in the account. The first rep names PRIME... stated my card was declined..... then disconnected me before i could respond as I WAS TYPING..



The 2nd rep named ADDY apologized but IGNORED my question.....stated same thing. My bank says there is nothing wrong with my card...

I am disabled and need my phone. Your company can not survive treating customers this way..



I was told by Addy to call a number for help.Please tell whoever trained ADDY that a person whose phone has been deactivated CAN NOT call ANYONE..



Your remote answering service when i dial " 1" on my phone asks me for a credit card , but the recording goes over and over and never lets one enter CC info..... Horrible Customer service....

This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. After they could not get my auto-refill correct 6 months in a row, I called to cancel the service. The man had such a heavy accent, I asked him repeatedly to slow down. After 5 attempts at that, I asked to speak to someone else, and he refused. I finally just hung up, and he started calling me back. Each time he called, I told him to leave me alone, I would talk to the corporate office. I finally had to turn my phone off completely. NEVER USE STRAIGHT TALK IF YOU CAN HELP IT!

I'm getting sick of having truble with stright talk and this last one takes the cake. I'm locked out of my phone and I never put. Security. code in it It does things without we using it. someone has been changing my signature. and conract number and no one had my phone except me. (OH YA your right I'm doing it in my sleep HAHA how funny fan you get

TERRIBLE. Simply TERRIBLE. The customer service from their automated refill is hardly respondent and always gives you the opposite of what you said. Simply frustrating and awful customer service.

The customer service at Straight Talk stinks! I called and first spoke to a person who could not understand me and who just read from a paper about how to solve my problem rather than listening to what the problem was. She kept telling me that I could buy a new phone if I wanted. Well, yes, I could. But first can we see if we can fix this phone that I paid nearly $200 for? Then out of the blue, she said, "That is all. Have a good day. Goodbye." I wasn't done talking, but apparently she was. I called back and told the gentleman I was unable to get help from the previous customer service person. He had a thick accent as well and was difficult for me to understand. While he did understand me, he didn't answer my question. While I think the concept of Straight Talk is a good one, the customer service is some of the worst I have seen.

I have just got off the phone with a lady that didn't understand me. I have had the same number for 2 years. they took the number from me and deactived my pone without reason. what kind of phone company with nothing but people who cant explain nothing and know nothing do we have working for us. we pay them . I lost a lot from this. they have nasty people working there. I recommend no one use straight talk. I have been treated very badly. thank you.

This second man i spoke to was muffled and then he took his face farther from the phone & i kept having to say "can you please repeat that? I didnt understand"

The people working in customer service don't speak much english so they have a script in front of them telling them what to say. That's why you hear the phrase "bear with me" every five seconds. They don't understand your problem and make you do all kinds of worthless changes to your phone before fixing the actual problem. This is the third time my phone deactivated when I correctly added a new service plan. I tried asking WHY it keeps happening and WHAT I can do to prevent it from happening but all he kept saying it "maam I just fixed the problem." And then kept trying to end the session at that. then he said "it won't happen again." And i tried saying that's what I was told the last two times...then he hung up. absolutely ridiculous and extremely frustrating. Next month I'm sure ill have to call again for the SAME problem as always.

Your phone system is horrible. When you need to talk to someone and get some help you cannot get passed the automated system and it is very frustrating, I plan to go to another provider and will not recommend your service to anyone, In fact I will tell everyone I know to stay away from straight talk. What a HORRIBLE experience. I tried for hours.

I was given my LG Optimus Q as a gift in 12 of 12 packaged as a NEW PHONE! I've had nothing but, PROBLEMS w/ it, & your "So Called" Customer Support! The phone was NOT NEW, as I found multiple areas in it supporting such. I have NEVER been able to get ANY problem w/ it resolved! It is totally IMPOSSIBLE to understand anyone in Cust. Srvc.! I've been put on hold for so long that, I hung up, if THEY didn't hang up on me FIRST! Every time I add $ to my acct., the phone changes everything! It's due for refill again, & I have'nt been able to get a signal for the entire month! I can't access my Email accts., NO PART of Google has EVER worked properly! No matter WHAT my issue is, all they want to do is perform a Total Reset, wiping out everything! They are lazy & rude!! Needless to say, Straight Talk as a whole, has been extremely frustrating, & a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! GET IT TOGETHER FOLKS! I'm looking for another carrier!

I wasted 1 1/2 hours talking to a tech somewhere in India (to 2 techs actually) and they didn't take care of my problem. I've been a loyal customer for 1 1/2 years, have called people from clear across the states-even when I travelled on the east coast calling relatives in my home state California with no problem. Today the techs were asking me what zip code my phone was programmed in when I bought it, and still they couldn't connect me at all. They wanted more information from me and told me that it would take 24 hours-if it would work. I just don't understand this. They acted like they just were "raking me off the grill." I guess you don't practice the ethos that "the customer comes first and is always right." I just went ahead and cancelled my account with you people. I'm very disappointed!

I was attempting to add time to my wife's phone, after 2 hours of hearing that there is an unusually high call volume and to call back later OR for faster service, visit our web site. I tried to log into the web site and get that it is currently down for maintenance. This has been a pretty good company up to now, but when you start wasting my time after I spent $45 to charge the phone, I am a little upset.
