I was curious why a company so substantial ensuring people all over the world would be so subject today 9:00 someone insurance due to circumstances they did not understand I think it's prejudice for a company to not allow someone to have insurance researching the background of that individual due to circumstances I think it's a joke and it's no wonder our economy is the way it is because all corporations hold people accountable without understanding not all situations are the same but I will say this I still do have insurance through State Farm life insurance they have not always been a cooperative company and I will continue on Facebook to let people know how and why State Farm has not allowed me to have auto insurance I think its a joke that you don't know the whole story you can delete this email but I will continue tell my story I work for a company and heating and cooling and I service over 5000 homes I'm on facebook all the time how many people do you think are going to hear my words because I'm upset with State Farm

The "All the nevers" commercial is the best commercial ever on TV. Please NEVER take it off! (on the other hand, please remove the disgusting 3am commercial as soon as possible.

Two months ago I bought a new car for my wife. While at the dealership I called my agent to add coverage for the new car and delete the Dodge Durango I was trading in. They deleted my sons Kawasaki Vulcan instead and left the new car with no collision or comprehensive coverage.

So first off I have been paying insurance on a vehicle I no klonger own, second my son has been riding his motorcycle for 2 months with no insurance, third they wont pay for my wifes windshield cause they claim I have no coverage, and lastly the credit union now wants me to pay for loan insurance since they claim I am required to carry collision and comprehensive without any lapses.

Not to mention I found out my agent is using unlicensed people to sell insurance in Texas which is illegal. I implore anyone who reads this STAY AWAY from Darren Miller and State Farm insurance.

My Husband has been with State Farm for many many years. When he and I were married about 8 years ago I too went with State Farm. They have us set up on different accounts. I called a couple of weeks ago to get a quote for Homeowner's insurance because we have decided to buy a house. The lady I was transferred to told me that our discounts of Multi Car and being Married were NEVER applied. So in about 8 years we have pretty much over paid by 8,000.00 dollars. She sent the error to another department to have it looked at and see what they would do about us over paying. Today my husband got the response back of them telling us that it was our fault and they were going to do NOTHING. She suggested that she would appeal it and see what they come back with. I would like to know their policy about this in writing, because I cannot find it anywhere.

I would for a customer service rep.from State Farm to call me abt an I issue I've had wit my local State Farm in Waxahachie, Briefly, a cash n credit card payment was made in November of 2014, n I only received credit for tha credit card payment, I do have documentation n a signed receipt for tha cash that was taken from a Sandra Estrada @tha Waxahachie location.Ive since left State Farm after doin business for many many years n I'm now wit Allstate.I would like my money returned if possible because my $200 cash payment was never recorded as payment received, They kept telling me I owed a payment every month I would make a payment.I was very upset n dissatisfied wit Deanna Atkinson @ tha Waxahachie location.

just want to know if your claims dept. is as unconcerned as your sales dept. if so, after only 30 days I may look for other insurance.

So I received my bill today on 02/17/2015. It's due on 2/20?? Why can't State Farm mail these in a timely manner to allow us more time. This always happens. Then State Farm will post on my account online that account is going to be cancelled if payment not received, BUT... they never mail out the cancellations notices either. I contact my local agent office... They are rude, unpleasant & don't care. Had a very awesome agent who passed away a few years ago & since then new office, so unpleasant!! 58 years old & have been with State Farm since I was 16 & starting to drive. It's my fault my invoices are not being mailed to me or mailed out 3 days before bill is due. I will be moving on shortly here! Can't deal with this any more!!

This was an email I sent to my agent about my experience with her office manager. In response,I did not recieve an apology for the way I was treated, but because I did not understand what I was paying for. No compensation. Just that I was at fault for being treated that way. I will be discontinuing my 15 years of service with State Farm soon.

I am sorry to say that did not receive any out of the office reply from you. Therefore, because I did not hear from you, I felt I was being ignored. I am also extremely insulted by your office manager Ashley, and do not want to hear from her again, whether it be by phone or email. She has insulted me twice now, and I am quite frustrated and offended with my experience, about my policy cancellation.

I have called the corporate office today to complain about the way I was treated by her, and am currently looking for a different insurance company for auto coverage because of it. I have been a loyal State Farm customer for over 15 years, and have never been treated so poorly by anyone. It was never my intention to switch to a different carrier, only to change my policy, but I am so insulted by Ashley that I do not want to be a part of a Company who treats their customers with such disrespect.

I have been a Manger in customer service for 14 years, and know what it is like be hospitable to guests who enter my workplace. Your office manager told me when I originally called that, I shouldn't cancel my life insurance policy, because the last 3 people who did that, died right afterward, and their families were screwed out of funeral costs. I was appalled and taken aback by her comment. Then yesterday, she continuously interrupted me while I was trying to speak, telling me that it wasn't her fault. I don't really care who's fault it is, and at that point it doesn't matter who is at fault. What matters is that I wanted to speak with my agent, to get a solution to my problem. After about 15 minutes of our conversation, I told her that it was not a good idea for me to continue talking with her, because I was becoming extremely frustrated, didn't want to get anymore upset than I already was. She stated that she understood, but then kept telling me how this wasn't her fault. Again, I don't care who's fault it is.

I am waiting to hear back from the corporate office about what I can do to get this resolved. I am sorry that we were not able to connect on the phone. I remember meeting you back in June of 2010, and I really appreciated your kindness and willingness to get my policy worked out as soon as we could, because I was leaving the country on vacation with family. I hope we can figure something out.

Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Johanna Benincasa

I am a statefarm policy holder and I hate statefarm. Everyone should posts that are posted on how these so called agents handle claims. If it's no money for the company they don't want to help you at all. You the customer are at no importance to them.

I was in an accident on December 3, 2014 the other driver fled the scene that left me and my friends shooken up. I called the cops that night as well as state farm. I explained to them what happened and they gave me my claim number and a phone number to set up for car inspection. I tried the number that was given to me but I couldn't get through. So I decided to just go down to the office to see what they can do. The inspector said he will inspect but will not plug it in until later in the day. Since that day I had a problem with statefarm. I don't get call backs, I don't even know what's going on with my claim. And now they are saying they need to interview me in person. After so many times that they ask me to tell them what happened. They even say things in the report that I never told them happened. State farm is rude, selfish, idiot, and plan out jersey that doesn't care for their client. Only for themselves and their pockets.

Complaint State Farm Insurance

Wendell Bugs

I spoke to Wendell on December 3, 2014

My mother is in the hospital and asked Wendell to call me to get a better understanding of the status of the claim. Wendell was rude and very sarcastic in all his responses to my questions. I wanted to know how I could get in contact with the claim owner Jim. I explained to Wendell, that I had already called Jim on his extension and left several messages and did not receive a call back. I wanted to know if there was a better way to contact this person that I was being referred to by many different agents involved with her claim. Wendell responded by saying that all he had was a number and extension for Jim. So, I asked for the corporate number to see if they could reach the claim owner (Jim). He did not know that phone number to his corporate office nor did he know whether or not if the corporate number for state farm insurance could be found on the web site. Wendell proceeded to explain to me that his job did not entail him looking at the state farm website to search for a corporate number. At that moment, I was very shocked by the unprofessional way in which he decided to handle my call. He could not get me to the claim owner nor was he able to help me with getting the number for the corporate office. Wendell and his team also had my mother in the hospital trying to contact the insurance company of other driver involved in the car accident to make sure their insurance would cover my mothers stay at the hospital and my dads surgery.not sure why she pays a premium every month, and then has to take care of all insurance claim billing herself while in the hospital. It was hard to work with an insurance agent who is rude, unprofessional, and lazy. We should not be in the hospital making calls to many different agents on her end and the other drivers end to get things paid. Wendell attitude towards me was nasty. He was very short with me, and towards the end of that call phone call, I realized that I was talking to someone who really didn give two cents about the customer or his job. When attempting to provide quality customer service, it would be wise not to purposely upset the customer with sarcasm and rudeness.

This is my Sophia Barksdale official notice as of 11/21/2014 I am canceling my insurance policy with State Farm. I don't know if this email will help or do any good, but I did want to let someone know about my experience with one of your State Farm agents: Lem Howard of 2716 Evans Mill Rd Lithonia. He is the reason why I am cancelling my policy. He started out nice and he attempted to be helpful, but when we disagreed about the date my car insurance was suspended on, which was the 11th but someone at his office backdated the bill to the 8th or 9th, (without me knowing or my consent) to file a tow claim for the indent. Which cause an increase in my bill, (which had this been explain correctly to me in the start, I would have selected not to file the claim.)He become very nasty, hasty, and offensive, advised me he was an independent agent no one was above him, the context of (if I did not like his answer that was nothing I could do) and verbally implied for me to cancel my policy and he did not care, told me to have a good day and hang up on me. Sadly I love state farm and always speak highly of the company. But this has left a bad taste in my mouth, and maybe he is right that no one can stop him from losing state farm customer, and damaging the State Farm brand. I just figured it was worth a try.

First it is pretty obvious based on reading prior posts that the State Farm of prior years who made their clients a priority got voted out and replaced by corporate greed and collecting premium payments. Their slogan " like a good neighbor " is a facade and demonstrates misrepresentation on the part of State Farm.

On Saturday, October 25,2014 we were involved in a car accident ( not our error) and my 2 sons were transported to a local trauma center via 911. State Farm would not call us back nor did they open a claim after both my husband and I tried to contact " our good neighbor" in fact we were told the claim agent would call us back on Monday?!?! That is a great demonstration of prioritizing your insuree and ensuring we, as the victims were taken care of. State Farm left us stranded 3.5 hours away from home !!

Sadly Hartford insurance company who represents the guilty party has been more professional and helpful than our lovely State Farm. Funny ... State Farm sure knows how to make contact when they want money on your premiums or attempt to sell you something else. I'm sorry State Farm that we didn't pre-select our date and time of accident during your corporate working hours M-F; 9-5 EST. So sorry we interrupted your Saturday golf game and here is a shout out to our agent , BM, in Baltimore Maryland for checking on his clients following our accident -NOT!!

Thanks for the rude non-compassionate follow up. Enjoy those bonus checks we keep earning you ! Glad to see where the companies priorities are in this broken system. , hope it gets you tenfold

Car accident was quickly solved by forcing me to be liable without hearing the other party story. Well, claim handling person was so firm that I am responsible. He did not want hear from any witness because I think both party had Statefarm insurance (?). Statefarm needs better professional people

We had an auto accident ( not our fault) on June 24,2014. It took a week for State Farm to receive my claim. There is over $10,000.00 damage to our car.
State Farm is having the car repaired.
Have had poor communications with State Farm Person handling our claim, Also poor communication with Body shop,,, and Car Rental Agent.
Our car has been promised to be ready on 2 different dates... Car is still not ready... It has been 6 weeks now

Your pa turnpike employees are doing a great job at showing consumers just how bad ur company cares about people. I seen a person get approached by ur employee yelling at person. After person went thru a gate he wasn't supposed to go thru. But before employee got out of his truck to yell at person he cut him off with state farm truck and almost caused an accident. So much for safety huh. Well after witnessing this. I decided after many years of being a customer. I decided to go with another company for insurance. If this is the type of people u want representing . I don't want to be associated with your company anymore. Ur employee was screaming at the driver and the driver was not arguing back either. That driver didn't even have a chance to talk. Police don't even treat people like that and they have the authority to. Ur company doesn't. Ur company is large. We'll see how long treating people like that. Well ur company can get out of insurance business if it falls from treating people like that. U can always convert to only having a safety patrol business.

I had flood damage to my vehicle which caused it to enter into the engine. I filed the claim not even 24 hours later, yet it took them almost a week to contact me. From the time I filed the claim until their repair facility even looked at it, over a week passed which allowed the air box to dry. However, they never drained the oil pan which had water in it. Rather, the repair shop, and a second state farm inspector blatantly lied and said that there was no water damage, and made it appear as if the issue was because of an oil leak. A leak that wasn't even present before the state farm had my vehicle towed in.

I have been w/State Farm for most of my driving career, which is over forty years. I am so unhappy with the service I received from an accident we were involved in in September 2013. The accident was not our fault, but State Farm wouldn't help me. I received more help from the guy who hit us insurance, All State, then from my company. We are seriously considering changing companies.
I will be shopping around for someone who wants our business and will provide excellent service.

Sincerely
Pamela Nolan

Had water damage on 3-11-14, made claim
adjuster went to see car 4-8-14 (had left water in car this long)
told claim was not covered 4-11-14
Was told by final adjuster that the water was slow progressing thing. 5+ gallons of water are under my passenger seat, completely submerging a computer which controls the transmission.

Avoid Chuck Nash State Farm in Camden South Carolina. They are most unprofessional and have very little knowledge about any of the paperwork involving commercial flood insurance. Because of their lack of due diligence I have been forced to postpone closing on a business that I have attempted to purchase. Everything was ready for the closing but the State Farm agent made at least four serious mistakes on the FEMA application and that caused a terrible delay in the process. We are still trying to get a flood policy. AVOID CHUCK NASH STATE FARM IN CAMDEN...they are very dangerous and very uninformed.

The business model where you have a long-standing relationship with your local agent is gone.
Now they recruit the lowest quality agents and pay them peanuts. Agents are charged with selling - not service. Indeed they are prohibited from even contacting the claims office if you have a claim. If you have been with SF for years and assume that your loyalty will be even acknowledged if/when you have a claim, you are mistaken. They told me so specifically.
Agent won't return your call? Forget trying to reach out to "corporate". All calls and emails are ignored or redirected to the agent.
The new business model is low-cost churn. It's very simple but completely flawed: 1) Make your long-term customers believe you will be there for them - until they have a claim. 2) Cut all agency costs and infrastructural support costs to drive profit. 3) Use the profit to run ads to get new customers faster than the current customers figure out the scam and leave. 4) Line the pockets of the management team.
