Employee Attitude In The Return Counter At Fremont Ca Ross By Mowry !
I am a senior male at 77 years of age. Today (3-27-2019) I tried to return a gold color wall clock because of the unreadable numbers on the face. I purchsed the item on 3/7/19 and I returned it back to Fremont Ross by Mowry with a due receipt with the clock and the box undamaged. Only thing I did not put together was the fastener wire which I disposed when I took out the clock for trial at home.The girl at the Return counter (at appx. 3:30pm) was so rude and gave me a discriminatory look with patronage attitude. She started picking on me with the lack of the fasten wire, labeling my return as open box item and argued withme, while I was half way explaining.The Supervisor came later took side with the girl threatening me on refusing a refund, still treated my return as a damged open box case, even though the clock and the paper box were all in Sale Mint condition ( They were all I had got from the purchase, except the tiny fasten wire!) .They took this simple case of return item to the argument and seemingly a fight for about 25 minutes, and finaly allowed me a store credit, to hassle me. They seemed to intentionally twist the return policy in order to dictating on me as a customer. I was feeling so let down by their attitude.Please kindly help checking for me on how can I made a smooth return process without these kinds of untrained Ross employee !!!A loyal 28 year Ross customer in Bay Area.3/27/2019

I'm a designer in Nashville, yesterday I was returning some items and somehow was missing my receipt which were on my clients card. The store manager at Cool Springs, GENNY, was more than helpful. She took the SKU #s and went back and by computer (I guess) reprinted my original receipt, cheerfully credited my clients card in the kindest of manner! I didn't want to confess to my client I had misplaced the receipt, thus not being able to get her refund. Granny saved me that experience and I wanted to give her my appreciation by this positive report. I will continue to shop Ross for a multitude of home furnishing items!! Oh I almost forgot, it was the tail end of tax free weekend and tho things had slowed a bit, I know she had been crazy busy for3 days and could have used a break, instead she went above and beyond, making me one satisfied customer!! Yes me and my wife were recently in your Ross store Tampa Florida University store and we came across two of your employees rubbing and touching on each other appropriately we talked to your manager at thinks Debbie and there was nothing done that we know of we just got an apology and I just think that was inappropriate for that store my wife didn't want to see that and neither did I just wanted to let you know thank you. I think the people's names word Natasha or Tasha and the male gentleman's name was named Tim or Jacob just wanted to let you know because that was inappropriate

Please have someone contact me regarding purchasing $800 worth of your 50x60 beautiful fleece throws. I know this is out of season but I have purchased at least 100 of them for gifts to our cancer patients who are having a difficult time, or has no visitors etc. The auxiliary board at Sentara Virginia Beach Hospital in Virginia Beach has donated this money. The patients are always so appreciative. If there is any way you can tell me where I can get them I would be so grateful. I have always shopped at the Lands town Ross store. Thank you, Linda giesen

Recently at work I talk to a person regarding losses that I have caused to the company He than made me sign a paper stating that I will pay back $175 dollars That I caused the company in losses, He proceeded to ask if I can pay back the losses I cause the company. However I comply signed the paper and Also wrote about what we talked about that day and signed too. After that He left the office so I asked my manager for copies of those papers and they said they couldnt give me any because the case was still open.Never did I once said I stole anything I did said that I problaby made a mistake or probably got confused obviouslty I am not going to steal stuff When I have been workin at Ross for almost 4 years now. People make mistakes all the time. They told me I was going to be put on paid leave until the investigation is complete and I was going to receive a call back telling me when I could be back at work. So on Friday I left early from work and I never heard anything back from them until right now Tuesday a voice mail from the assitance manager saying that "I could go pick up my last pay". Until right now I have no idea what is goin on with the investagation but I guess the outcome of it is me getting terminated from work throught a voice mail. It took me by surprice that I was fired theough a voice mail without any reason unless she was planning on telling me why when I go get the check. I guess it was fun working at Ross while it lasted being Frond End Supervisor was nice! It was not nice getting terminated just like that for a mistake

I was in store in Brooksville Florida today. Stood in line to check out for twenty minutes. Some people came in with a return the cashier took them first. I'm still standing in line. Now there's about ten people behind me. I finally get up to the register all this time only one cashier on. I ask to speak to the manager,cashier said she was busy that I could talk to her on the phone. I explained everything to her,she said with budget cuts she could only put one cashier on. I ask her was it worth losing business over. She got nasty after that said there was nothing she could do. So I left my two hundred dollar order on the counter and left. Was in this store once or twice a week. But according to your store manager budgets comes before costomers.

At your Cherrydale store ,I complained to associate in restroom about condition,asked if I should report to manager she said no,they would take care of,she took care of it,I decided to call and component her when I found out she was the manager,I was impressed that she did not make that known to me while was there and she cleaned it herself .Thankyou,she's a fine manager

For Sunday shopping I went into the Ross at Waterford lakes shopping center in East Orlando Florida. I was ready to spend over $400 but only spent $85. Because the loss prevention guy followed me everywhere. Every time I touched a show or anything he would scratch his throat until I said something about it and they saw I was in line to buy. But horrible experience. I go there every other Sunday. But rather shop at Burlington co factory and shop in peace.

Hello my name is Charles and I recently visited your Phoenix location 0412 and was there to purchase a car dash camera for my car because I work for LYFT and I was browsing threw the electronics section and I was looking at the 2 different brands of dash cams that were in stock and I was tapped on the back by a security guard asking me asking me in a very high tone of voice ARE YOU GOING TO BUY SOMETHING !!!! I had already had 2 items in my hand I was completely outraged and asked him why would he ask me a question like that !!! And he pointed over to the customer services counter and said she. (Rabecca) an Ross associate told me to keep an eye on me and I was Blown Away with the fact that this man is implying that I was a shop lifter or some poor person and when the security guard was speaking to he his breath reeks of alcohol overwhelmingly and I asked him what security company he works for and told him are you intoxicated he replying No No I said to him you breath says otherwise and he trys to lagh it off and changed the subject and I proceeded to the counter to check out and asked the casher whom was checking me out if they assigned a personal security guard to ever customer and asked for Rebeccas name and told her that I was being harassed and couldn't shop anymore because I was so embarrassed that I got approached in that manner and that I am a church going person I have never stold anything in my life and to be accused of something like that out of no where I will never forget this accusation that came from an associate whom has a job only because loyal customeBROSS like myself for over 5+ years are shopping there but I will never go back to ROSS DRESS FOR LESS AGAIN !AND I WILL BE FORWARDING THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESSES BUREAU as well recipe Time 06:44pm tran:192688 if you want to view your camera system and judge for your self I highly encourage it god bless thanks

Return line is empty and only standard open. Waited 10-15nutes in line only to be told when it was my turn at the register " Please go to the very end of the newly formed return line" Cashiers need be aware of customers and announce, where the return line is. Customers are not aware if returns and purchase are the same line with just 2 Cashiers instead of 3 providing service to customers. Inglewood Ca. Store

I've shopped at Ross for many years and today had a very experience and wanted to make you aware of it . I came to the register to make my purchase and the clerk literally throw my garment into the bag with no care or regard for the item . When I asked her " please care for my garment while you are placing it in the bag. She " we don fold nothing " . I then asked her to be gentle with my purchase. She then talked rude to me and smiled . I asked to speak with the manager Brandy and informed her of the incident . I strongly believe in good and professional customer service . Well , today I didn't have that experience

I was in your Rocklin Cal, store on 2nd Sept to return an item I purchased with my debit card. I asked for cash back. He asked for my debit card, which I didn't have with me. He said without your card I can't give you money back, I can only put it back on your card or give store credit. My wife had our card but she was shopping next door at Party City. After standing in line for ten minutes the young man proceeded to quote the same dumb policy excuse to her. But this time he added Ross's policy is that we don't give cash back on items purchased with a debit card. I would like someone at Ross to tell us what the difference is between an item purchased with a check verses a debit card. As long as they returned after seven days there should be no difference. To me it almost seems like Ross like to jerk their customers around. Over the years we've had some bad shopping experience's at Ross, and they seem to be getting worse.I would also like to add, that some of your clerks are down right rude. To tell you the truth I'm not sure when We'll be shopping again. There's no excuse you could give me for the way Ross treats its customers.

I will never shop at Ross in tacoma washington again! What I witnessed tonight around 8:27 p.m was one of the worst customer service! Myself was so offended by how a Ross security card approached a young lady asking her if he could help her find anything and she said yes! Then he just was disrespectful and said no as he walked away! I watched this whole situation play out and wanted to be a witness! As she purchased her items and talked to a women manager she disregarded the situation with no concern at all! She replied with well he is not a personal shopper which I understand but at least have a employee help the lady find the item! Why ask a customer can you help them find something but not do so!! Then he called her a B name as she walked out the store! Then denied doing so! Poor service at the Ross on 38th in Tacoma Washington!

I currently live in Anaheim California I work full-time and just contacted the Ross store in Anaheim on Euclid to do a merchandise check for me on a pair of pants. The manager told the associate to let me know that they did not have time to look for that for me and that they could look later I thought that was very poor customer service the manager's name is Yolanda in the Anaheim store on Euclid.

I have been at Ross store north of Bend Oregon are times last few months and there is really a very poor selection for one I see the racks for men's Jean's has 30 pairs of Jean's wall selfs for shoes trainers empty for a big store this has been for the last two the three months now

The store in Tustin California is horrible! Have been many times and only one register open always even with the line half way thru the store. Every single time I have seen people drop their purchases and leave and everyone in line is complaining. Then I was in line and had been waiting for a while when a young lady comes up to returns and when it is my turn she takes her even after I had been waiting way longer! I told them I thought that was wrong and they completely ignored me.
There was three ross employees standing in a circle talking and laughing and two more leaning on the counter talking and the store was a mess and people putting down items and leaving! I did not purchase my items and left. I see many complaints about the Ross stores and obviously nothing is being done......sad!

My daughter went to the Ross store in Harrisonburg va she was treated very badly by your store manager we shop there almost every week and spend a great deal of money. We will not be shopping there again we both own businesses in Harrisonburg I would fire an employee for being rude to a customer the way your manager was today

Horrible service from Ross Eastland Center,Ca. Manager Ericka Herni carried on conversation while 5 in line and only her as a cashier. When I asked for help she continued her conversation. When she finally called me over, I expressed my dissatisfaction n she said I was rude to interrupt her conversation with someone telling her they were cancer free. And I was supposed to know this how. I asked for her last name, she refused, asked for her supervisor, she said. "Go look for it's posted somewhere"
I consider myself to be a very understanding person, and was not really in a rush. It was this manager's blatant rudeness.

District Manager is Lupe Alverez, someone should talk to this person. I am absolutely positive I have not been the first to encounter her rudeness

the Ross I visit often is located in orland park ill on lagrange road i really have to say is poorly run store ..dirty and unorganized with lines always for check out i have seen people in discuss leave item and exist the store due to the long wait to check out..this issue should be looked at cause the management is not doing there job,,,, very unsatisfied customer
