I was in your Rocklin Cal, store on 2nd Sept to return an item I purchased with my debit card. I asked for cash back. He asked for my debit card, which I didn't have with me. He said without your card I can't give you money back, I can only put it back on your card or give store credit. My wife had our card but she was shopping next door at Party City. After standing in line for ten minutes the young man proceeded to quote the same dumb policy excuse to her. But this time he added Ross's policy is that we don't give cash back on items purchased with a debit card. I would like someone at Ross to tell us what the difference is between an item purchased with a check verses a debit card. As long as they returned after seven days there should be no difference. To me it almost seems like Ross like to jerk their customers around. Over the years we've had some bad shopping experience's at Ross, and they seem to be getting worse.I would also like to add, that some of your clerks are down right rude. To tell you the truth I'm not sure when We'll be shopping again. There's no excuse you could give me for the way Ross treats its customers.
