Low prices not most important to customers but good customer service where long lines, rude cashiers not speaking English, staff yelling to one another in Spanish!
Sears has this, Marshals clean up service, staff. Riss cashiers at Miami store 120 st and 137 Ave. One cashier at 10am Sun. 10 people in line, 4 returns taken cared first, and cashier answering in Spanish when spoke to her in English. Prior week, cashier not finished bagging, giving change when calling for another. HAD TO FINISH BAGGING over 70.00 purchases.
This Sunday, I left cart inn line, WALKED OUT.
SHAPE UP ROSS OR pay now or later. With me this us it!!!

I bought a pair of $16.99 sandals and while at work, the sole started coming off one of the bottom of one of the shoes. I donot have any other shoe with me. I had to wear them till I could got home. Took them back with the recipt dated 3/21/16 and was told becuase I worn them, I cannot exchange or refund them by the assistant manager on duty. Should I still be a Ross customer?

Was very dissapointed several times waiting in kine for twenty minutes or more at The Ross I45 Spring Texas not enough cashiers a veey bussy store. I have visited sevwral Ross Store and get better speest servjce. Please do something about it as many people in line were afraid to speak out.

My husband and I decided to do some last-minute shopping at the Ross on Austell Road in Marietta east west connector- Marietta Georgia we arrived at approximately 9:40 pm--doors were locked!!! all employees are still inside but would not let us in! said they were closed even though the hours posted on the door clearly stated TEN pm --but they had decided to shut the store down early this evening --we have spent hundreds of dollars in your store every month. We will no longer be coming back since we were turned away before closing time. I have worked in the corporate industry for many years and for a manager to make that decision to close the store early is probably one of the dumbest decisions to make in the business world !!! you cannot have inconsistent times of opening and closing especially when is posted on the door. While will I ever comeback ---they could be closed!!!?? ! Sincerely, Dustin Kelley

Whatever happened to customer service? I used to enjoy going to Ross but rarely go these due to their customer service and slow service. I went into the store to return a merchandise. I was standing behind a customer at customer service desk who was being rung at the the time. I stood behind this customer for 5 minutes. Kimberley the cashier (Store #0243) looked up at me several times and said nothing. When she was almost done with the customer, she said I had to go wait in the other line where there were already 4 people waiting. She did not tell me the other times that she looked up at me to move to the other line. I waited another 10 minutes before Kimberley helped me. I sarcastically thanked her for customer service and asked why she couldn't tell me earlier to wait in the other line where I had to wait another 10 minutes. No apology whatsoever. Her sassy comment was "Ma'am I can't see you if you are not waiting in the line." So unless you are seen, you will not be provided with any service. That certainly is not what customer service is all about.

Don't shop at the Ross store located on Philadelphia in Chino California. The furniture there is damaged and only offers 10% off of ridiculous prices. Their furniture is destroyed but they say they can only give you 10% off. Torn leather damaged wood $60 with 10% off which is $6 is ridiculous. This store is not customer friendly. Manager Christian doesn't care about her customers and will not help them in any situation

Your Mililani, Hawaii location was doing great with dealing with crowds,....until today Two registers open with line zig-zag completely full. Then the acting manager told one of the workers at a register to take her break!??? When I pointed this out to the acting manager she ignored me and said "have a nice day" in a screw you tone and look on her face. Also, so many boxes and employee stocking cart, it was nearly impossible to make it down the isle.

I was returning an item on Monday and there was a very long line. Customers were getting very upset because there was only two employees on registers. The other employees were tagging items and restocking. She asked why were they not helping to check out customers more important is to have customers purchasing items then to be doing what they were doing. The two employees continue to restock and no one came to help. The lady also ask for a corporate number to call and complain and instead they refer her to look out the window and find it. This was the store on Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville Florida. The lady was very patient and very nice but I think there needs to be some changes in the store

Hello my name is Ron Drake, today I visited several of your stores to buy my daughter a samnonite luggage set for Christmas. After purchasing a set from your Houston store in the 4000 block of FM 1960 in Houston, Texas I was contacted by my daughter who stated she wanted them in black. The ones my wife and I purchased were dark blue. I returned to the store but they did have them in black. We proceeded to next store at the approximately 7500 block of West FM 1960. (Store number #258) Once inside we checked once again that you only had them in blue, I knew that you have another store in Tomball Texas (about 30 minutes drive), I asked the sales associate if they could call the Tomball store he stated he would check, as I accompanied him he spoke to a young lady who was wearing a loss prevention jacket (Meagan was her name) and asked could she call the Tomball store, she immediately said no, I questioned why she couldn't call one of her stores, she stated they couldn't check inventory. I asked to speak with the store manager and after about 10 minutes a young African American male came out and I asked him if he was the store manager, (I believe his name was Dubru) he stated he was one of them. I asked him would he call the Tomball store to which he stated no. I asked if he would get give me number to the Tomball store to which he said he would. He made my wife and I wait for 20 minutes, in the meantime I got on my cell phone, got the number and called the store myself. The Tomball store was very helpful, the manager finally returned and gave me the number with an attitude. I informed him I had already spoken to the other store, he seemed surprised. I retired after 25 years in retail management and I don't think I have experienced such poor customer service and a lack of caring. I will not allow my wife to ever return to that store again. She loves Ross and has her favorite stores, she will continue to shop at those stores but we'll never return to #258. I ask that you look into this matter and make any adjustments you deem necessary. Since my retirement I rarely get on email, but if you would like additional information you may call me or provide written correspondence . As a manager I always wanted to know we could improve or when we were doing something right, that is the intent of this comment. Regards, Ron Drake.

Ross in south Jordan is a complete joke I went there to exchange a drone I bought for a bigger one, well they didn't have it so I went to purchase my other items and they said you need to pay for that I said I brought it in go,check your cameras... she (maggie the manager) said ok I'll be back in two minutes... might I add me abd this particular individual don't get along due to how she has treated me other times ive been there. She seems to think she's some hot beexy who ruins everything and is all that. Last time I was there she said I know how you are I've been seeing u cone to,ross fir years my response weird cause I just moved here.anyways
Well thirty minutes later yes thirty minutes another employee says your good thank u. Than,the register guy erics phone rings and I hear Maggie say pick up the phone and he picks it up than he looks at me and says yah I know how people like this are. Hangs up comes to me and says my manger said you didn't bring this is takes it from me and I said yes I did and he yells at me and says my manger watched the camera This isn't yours abd snatches,it away. So now I just left abd am in a complete shock this is buckshot she literally just stole 50$ from me, I've spent thousands there abd this is bs...

The cashier at store # 0991 associate number . Needs to stick to cashiering and keeping comments about parenting to himself.

I was checking out at 7:29pm on 11/26/15, with my Daughter and Grandson. My Grandson started to throw a fit about the toy i was putting on counter. After 2nd attempt i handed the toy to cashier and told him to put it behind him. I then left the store with my Grandson so the store would not have to hear him.

My Daughter stayed inside to pay for her purchases. She literally came out to our car crying as this cashier had snaped at her and said my Grandson didnt do anything wrong. And she should have gotten him the toy. Ross just lost a loyal customer tonight due to this cashier. I will never shop at Ross again.

Ms jones statement Ross was self service store . That the store doesn't call . Transfers store for customers . I had purchase this item week ago . 9.99 . Incorrect price was on the gloves .

I understand that you have to count merchandise going into the dressing rooms. But if you cleaned them you would not have to treat your regular paying customers like thieves patting them down like a common thief! Especially when, in this country your innocent (as I was) until proven guilty. Your business practices cater to scum versus people on a budget; shame on you!

I am due a refund from Ross Stores for $188.32. Customer Service is extremely difficult to work with, you will be transferred to a "manager" with no voice mail, transferred to a "manager" and voice mail is left with no return call. Unable to supply transaction # from "Ross Bank" that shows transaction. I have receipt showing I am due refund. This is consumer fraud and banking across state line. Left on hold for 30-40 minutes each call. I have called 12 times. Corporate offices are the same number with same response. This is the first time I have ever consider writing a comment. I have contacted the Attorney General's office to report consumer fraud and theft.

A store manager of Vernon Hills location behaved very rudely and cannot control her emotions and was very angry talking to me. Then she left me pretending she is going for her lunch break. What I understood from her she is working a lot of hours,which is not an excuse to behave rudely and angrily. I tried to make her behave in a nicer manner by talking calmly but she left me pretending she is having her lunch break. The manger name is Lisa.

I was parking at your Ross store in Bowie, store#1090, phone. One of your employees driving a Large Black SUV, like a GMC truck pulled up so close that I moved. This was on the parking row right next to the sidewalk. She took part of the handicapped parking space! Customer service was bad in that the line was long & when I asked the lady in charge if she could open another line she snapped back no, even though she herself was not working a cad register. Other customers said to me customer service has changed there in the last few months. I know I have not seen this kind of behavior b4. Employees should park on the back rows & correctly. Service lines should not have over 8 people unless there are at least 3 registers open. Help!!

New Manager at your TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA. NEED TO GO, NEED TO BE REPLACED. I am an everyday ROSS Customer! I Overheard him talking to a Female Employee in a Mean and Hateful Tone then he Ordered her to his Office. Then she later came out appearing to be Upset. I like this employee, she helps me with a Smile every time I mean every time I go in store. I also heard him answer another employee when she told him he had a phone call, WHAT SHE WANT? THEN HE REFUSE TO TAKE THE CALL! WHY WAS HE HIRED,?? I KEPT WATCHING, He is Very Unpleasant, and Does Not Acknowledge Customers. Get Rid of this Man!! He is Not A Fit For Your Store. Irvington road, Tucson. Line was all the way to the back of the store while employees stood around. I walked out and left$300 of purchase in the car when I saw the line. Inexcusable!
