Hi Petco, today 11/24/21 I went to Petco at Sierra Lakes Fontana ( next to Costco ). I just bought Turtoise at Petco and made anew set up place for Turtoise. Most equipment, I bought from Petco. It's been about 7 days, the turtoise won't eat the food, but instead eat the soil and reptile mulching in the tank. Previously, I came and consulted with staff there to solve my problems about my Turtoise. I was suggested to bring the turtoise to Petco to see by Vents and rebuy it again when it is done for check up. Petco can help me for that.
Today , I met manager name : Jeanne, I consulted to solve my problem., but I was so disappointed and dissatisfied, she speak so harshly in front of me and my son. I understood her point that she will not able to help me return my Turtoise after Vent check. She suggested to increase the temperature inside tank. But the way she talk was so rude in the store, and intimidated. I was with my son 10 years old was also said to me that she was so rude. She was back and forth do something else, if she is a good manager, she should able to manage store with other staff. I don't have any problems with others staff there, others are nice, and friendly. Petco should have better manager there. It is really bad experience with the manager at Petco Sierra Lakes today.

I understand that many reptiles have particular dietary needs, and need live crickets, mealworms, etc. But I absolutely DO NOT understand why live rats and mice should be sold as food for snakes. I knew a herpatologist many years ago and he always bought frozen, thawed animals for his snakes. Even his larger snakes got whole chickens - feathers and all - that were frozen and thawed, because it was safer for the animals. Snakes are often bitten, eaten and even killed by live rats and mice. I recommend this article for amateur snake owners...

I hope Petco changes its policy regarding this issue. And as a former rat owner it breaks my heart that they suffer a frightening, tortuous death.

Tired of spending to much money there get everything from doctor fosters and smith you put color dyes in your cichlids so you can sell them and the marion Ohio store can't even get there tanks clean all diseased and have ick and dying the worst I have ever seen and I have ran a pet lamb before and it's not hard to clean tanks and get rid of that problem just use their herbal tonics and they do not work I offered to fix their tanks for free so wouldn't kill all the fish and they said no and a pack of wants to keep killing fish like they have been expensive fish like blood parrots I will never ever shop there again I'm part of PETA and it will be turned into pita and I will do everything in my power to shut down the Marion Petco store with pita because of what you guys do when you put dies and fish people think they're getting the mail and they end up with the female that's not good business and the prices of your food compared to dr. Foster Smith food there's like a 70% drop from your prices that's just taking advantage of the customer I wish PetSmart would come in take over for you guys cuz they know how to take care of tanks and it's horrible disgusting I posted all pictures on social media from YouTube to everything and Marion Star and the local radio station cuz you guys don't need to be selling fish if you can't take care of them some of them do live 30 years plus

I have been to the petco. In Moscow, Idaho twice.. The first time was before Christmas and as soon as I walked in, the smell of the ferrets' cage was overpowering. I brought tho to the attention of the girl behind the register and she knew and that it has been that way. The second time was Feb.10, 2018. I walked back to see the ferrets and I was shocked. There must have been 6-7 ferrets and there was poo piled up in four corners. Not to mention their food bowl. I leaned over to talk to one particular ferret and the smell was so overwhelming that it made my eyes burn and water. I mentioned this to a worker on the floor and she said"I know. It's been like that for awhile'. So I went to the counter and told the girl that those baby ferrets were so filthy and that they stunk and it was unacceptable for them to be that dirty and i would never buy a ferret from there and i would never return to that store. I paid for my ferret toys and walked out. I will never go back there again. Dont know what happened to your supervisor, but someone's not doing their job at the expense of those poor animals. I believe they call that 'abuse'.

The Petco in Dundee road has some management issues. Some of them are combative and no people skills leave alone very errigant. They are argumentative. Been going to that store for at least 25 years and to be honest they've always had some issues. It's even hard for them to hire people and they never fire the terrible ones.

I am trying to find fluval underwater u3 cartridge 2 count. You sell the fluval underwater U3 machine but not the cartridge? Surely you do...I could not find it on your website

I have been a customer of the new petco located in Millville De area. I had commented to manager that the store is always clean, free from odor, good staff and live stock always clean and healthy. Upon my visit today I was not greeted, although there were four or five employees standing g at the check out chatting. The animals were not cleaned, the Betta fish had algae growing in their bowls. There were dead fish. The small mammals were dirty with dried food crusting the edges of bowls. I made my purchase and as. I was leaving I asked if the manager had quit to which I was told yes. So now it all made sense. Sad to have had a great employee and he is gone. He was a tall bald gentleman. Very personable, accomadating. Unfortunately the level of care of live stock has gone down and employees doing what they do when the boss is away. I guess it's back to Pet Smart I can get same service there...

I was upset when I wrote my complaint earlier and never gave them a chance to fix it about the grooming..I talked to the manager about it when I picked up my dog and he was very helpful..I will shop petco again because of the managers assistance! Thank you!!great job petco!

My poem will NEVER come to a petco again!! I have had him to groomers before..private And corp....never have I been charge extra for his undercoat! I dropped him off at 9:45 the woman came out early to get him and he is still in there. 2 hrs. And 45 mins later and all he got done was bathed and toes and butt trimmed..REALLY?? He is still in there too!! I will tell everyone I know with dogs about ypir service!! Oh and when I did call and make my appointment. And asked them price was told 45 dollars!! Drove an hour to come here..

I tried to find an email address for Petco customer service after discovering worms in a newly purchased bag of Purina Pro Plan from Port Richey FL store. Sell by date was seven months out and the bag had no visible signs of damage. I was so disgusted by the infestation of small white worms crawling all throughout the dog food, as well as small white patches of crusty areas on pieces of the dog food it had me speech less, totally grossed out and vowing to avoid that store in the future. No excuse could make me feel safe going back. Yuck

We thought there had been a mistake made in the ringing up of our bill. Bobby at sotre 1466 on FM 1960 E in Humble, TX 77346 was patient and professional. He walked us through it. It was then that we understood there had been no mistake. The bill was correct.

They just opened one in Humble Texas @ hwy 59 and 1960. They were not helpful and asked me to leave after I purchased 60.00 worth of merchandise,because I had baby kittens that were abandod.They were in a kennels and I was giving them away for free,I was not approaching anyone and they did not like the fact people were coming up to me.I have spent over a 100$ in a week there,I don't know about your marketing member there but that took away from potential customers.I will shop at petsmart from now on.I can tell that y'all do not care about animals it is the money.Believe in what I say that every chance I get I will down that store and the lady with no heart,she was in charge on this day 10-29-16 I intend to return & get her name she was blonde with short hair.

SL at store #280, is a high school drop out. Petco violated their hire policies when hiring this team member. Team me er continues to violate policies regarding physical appearance due to tattoos and funky colored hair colors that a re not natural. This store and team member should be looked into.

I think your employee at the Hampton, VA store needs to be recognized. I took my dog there to have her nails trimmed. Due to my dog being 17, deaf & blind i dont take her for grooming because we try not to stress her out. Since they were slow & able to give her a bath & trim right away i decided to do it. I stayed close by incase she got upset. I observed the process without them being aware. I am told the groomer that worked with her was named Sidney, i am hoping that was correct. She needs to be recognized for her incredible service. She talked with me about her elderly dog who had very similar skin allergies etc as mine. She was very loving and caring towards Mia (my shih-tzu) i observed her hugging Mia, giving her kisses & loving on her throughout the process. I was so incredibly touched by her care for my dog that I will recommend her to everyone I can. When someone knows they are being watched they tend to act differently. The fact she didnt know i was observing and was so loving and caring towards Mia showed me she genuinely cared, understood my concerns with keeping her from being stressed out & really trwated her as if she was her own. My Mia means the world to our family so Sidney's customer service was incredible & she needs to be recognized for it. Most folks only contact places to complain but I am contacting you to recognize this young lady. She blessed my heart beyond measure and she will be the only person i will trust with my dog when she needs another grooming visit. Please make sure she is given a copy of this as well as making sure she is commended. Sidney, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are truly a blessing to us. God bless you.

I frequently visits the petco in Slidell Mississippi and 2 employees stand out. Chelsea and believe the other girls name is Monica .
Chelsea is always very pleasant and informative in regards to what I am looking for at the time.
Monica ( mainly the sly water fish dept) is so kind and willing to go out of her way to assist me. It is employees like this that keep me coming back due to the friendly and helpful environment that make each visit pleasant.

In Prince Fredrick maryland my dog groomer is great but she keeps the dog in the cage for most of the day. Like today
Arrival time is 9:00 and the dog won't be ready to around 2:00 so she says but hesitated this time since last time the dog didn't get done till like 4:00. The dog spent all day in the cages for grooming. Somehow this seems in humane to the dog . The comment to my comment was that the dog sleeps most of the time. Really to me too long for an appointment when I am told that the dog usually is done from three to four hours. Please give me some resolution .

We were told last night when we called to bring our dog in at 8:30 this am for a nail clip and file to the Dartmouth MA store When we got there at 8:30 the grooming dept said it opened at 8am but the worker there refused to clip our dogs nails saying that the cash registers aren't opened yet and that 8a - 10a is by appointment. But why were we told to come in at 8:30. The worker was rude and refused to clip nails. Said we had to come back at 10.

Now I remember why I have been loyal to PetSmart. They are way better than Petco. Your customer service is probably the worst I have seen. Dissappointed is t even the word.

Today I was in your Round Lake Illinois store and about 80% of the Beta fish were dead or dying. This was not the first time I've seen this. In talking to the girl who worked there she told me that they get stressed from being shipped and dye soon after. I don't know if this is acceptable to you because they're just fish. But it's not acceptable at all. Stop selling them!!!!!!!

I recently made a phone call to your Alton Illinois store a young man by the name of Ryan I believe helped me on the phone. I have never in my life receive so much good information on products and about products from a person at any store in my total life as I did from this young man Ryan he is a plethora of knowledge. Companies should employ people like this more often and give them incentives to stay his help was extraordinary

for the last 10 years we have been buying our dog food for our sons dogs and ours. i am very

dissatisfied with the service we received yesterday at your unit in south houston off 45

in league city. we had our border collie-maggie- given her summer cut. we have never had a

experience like this at your unit-you can go back and see what we purchased and received

service from petco. i came to pickup my dog from your groomer.when i arrived the groomer

that cut our dogs hair started to tell me how they did not want her to come back. my dog is 14 years old border collie because she was difficult to cut because she wanted to sit down.

i would have taken a phone call at home if this is there issue and picked her up. i am a retired big box manager store manager from target. i know what customer service is and how to

handle it properly. this was a issue that could have been handled face to face with a quite

discussion not across 30 ft.you can see what we buy

Your store in Mesquite, TX needs to look at your store in Rockwall, Tx. What a world of difference! Mesquite is dark & dirty & smells.I feel confident leaving my dog at the groomers in Rockwall, all though Mesquite did a good enough job I wonder what kind of care he got there. I now have to go out of my way to take him to Rockwall 18 miles away instead of dropping him 2 blocks from my job. Clean up Mesquite & buy some light bulbs!
