My bill has gone up 3 times this year. When I call to get it lower the representative says no we can't lower your bill, no empathy so matter of fact. As though they could care less. But of course when they were trying to get your business they were more then happy to help. So for me I want a company that will try their best to accommodate the customer not one that doesn't care about whether or not you take your business elsewhere. I spoke to more than one person they all had the same I don't care attitude. When asked to speak to a supervisor, someone else who can help I was told there is nothing that can be done. You would think they would be more accommodating during this pandemic ! I'm going to complain to the better business bureau. SMH

I have been trying to get in contact optimum representative in concern to my bill, this is crazy, I've been waiting for almost two hours.

Got one for you. My mother moved to Missoula, Mt from Wisconsin. I have been a Bresnan (optimum) for years. So I thought might as well get my mother her phone and TV through Optimum. Stopped at the local facility. Told the girl what we wanted and she asked for the address and we were advised that there was no house at that address. (we were liars). I am 69 and my mother is 89 and believe me we have better things to do than to try and start accounts where there is no house. Anyway we had to prove to the girl that there was in deed a house at the address that we gave her. Was advised that a tech would have to come out and see if that was true. The agent came out and said yes, it was a house and we could get service. The girl stated that she would call and let me know if we could get cable after talking with the tech. That was 3 weeks ago. GUSS WHAT? Went to a different company and one where my 89 year old mother would not have to pay for internet because she doesn't have a computer. I am now thinking of dropping Bresnan (Optimum) because of the way we were treated. If they don't need my mothers business then they don't need mine.

Please help. I live in Locust Grove, Va and my email address is [email protected]. I am having trouble sending emails to several Optimum/Bresnan customers in Great Falls and Montana. I am able to receive their emails to me and download attachments. However, return emails to these individuals and another Bresnan holder in Wyoming have all been aborted after 8 to 10 seconds. This just started this past weekend and I have been unable to resolve the problems with Comcast, Microsoft and Norton. Could you please get back to me. I am sure this problem can be fixed. Thank you. I have been with Optimum or Cablevision since September 2010. I have had issues with their service but nothing that rose to outrageous like the call I got last night on Thursday, 2/16 at around 9PM. The woman called and said that a previous tenant in the same building owed them monies from two or more years ago and that their were adding this to my account. Sure enough today I went online and Cablevision added $400 to my account. Unbelieveable but true.
