I had purchased a hitachi summer tm 1.5 ton airconditioner from your dealer namely K.K.Sales pvt Ltd,Allahabad,U.P.The airconditioners fan motor had a manufacturing defect from the very beginning as it had a humming sound in the fan motor which was duly verified by the technician from Hitachi service centre and the unit was changed,unfortunately the second unit also had the same problem and apart from that after replacement the swing motor also stopped functioning which was changed too,i had informed the customer care on numerous occasions about my problem but it was a futile exercise(the same can be verified by going through my various complain numbers).I even asked the dealer to replace the unit as it had a manufacturing defect but he also refused to change the unit,after numerous complaints and a threat to take legal action one technician from the service centre turned up and told that the fan motor is not functioning and needs to be changed and took the defective motor with him with the assurance that the same shall be replaced within 2 days,since then almost a week has passed but no one turned up,on enquiring it was told that a request was sent to the Lucknow store as the service centre at Allahabad didnt have the motor in stock.On 3-9-2012 when i contacted the service centre i was told that the Lucknow store had not dispatched the fan motor despite request being made and a mobile no 8799674167 of a person named Mohit was provided and i was informed that no complaint regarding my grievance was received by him,which was total lie as i had verified the same from the customer care and was informed that i had registered complaints on 5 july 2012,again on 22-8-2012 and again on 28-8-2012 which goes to show the conduct of the employees of a multinational brand like Hitatchi.I have decided that now i wont run helter skelter like this and will seek legal recourse by filing a case in the consumer court if my air conditioner is not replaced because this kind of act is not expected from a multinational brand like Hitachi.I have been reminding Hitachi on day to day basis but its of no use,all they do is giving assurance but no one bothers to call back or enquires as to wat my grievance is.I have no other remedy but to sue Hitachi.S.K.Mishra,Mobile 9335111966
