Thank you for taking the time to bring this review to our attention.

I want to share an experience that I feel in this day and age of World Class service was totally unacceptable. I worked online and selected a vehicle that would fit my needs and fuel economy. When I picked up the vehicle at the Hertz location in Vestal, NY it was an SUV that got 23.5 MPG. the most frustrating part of rental was the condition the vehicle was in. I personally didn't think Herz would rent a vehicle in the condition that I experienced. The vehicle was not clean, the windshield was full of bugs, the interior was filthy, it smelled of cigarette smoke, the cigarette lighter didn't work so I had to use the one in the console and had to switch back and forth with my cell phone charger, the front tires were just legal (Which I showed the person when I returned the vehicle) the best mileage was 23.5 MPG and the vehicle had major squeaks in the front end and rear hatch when going over bumps. I really feel Hertz need to check their rental procedures so another customer doesn't experience what I did. I understand not every car will be in excellent condition, but there should be some standards so you don't experience what I went through. My last point, there was an odor in the car and I just thought it was normal given the condition the car was in, but when I returned the vehicle there was an old McDonald's bag under the front seat and that is where the smell was coming from. I received the vehicle in Vestal, NY and my representative was Richard Bocek and I returned the vehicle to 6615 D Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC and Jonathan Hvsky was the representative and I showed Jonathan the items I mentioned in this review. I thank you in advance for hearing my complaint. I would appreciate a follow up to this review so I know someone will take action. Respectfully, Sebastian Fiacco, Jr
