Consumers beware: Worst Customer Service I've ever experience in my Life! I purchased two airline tickets with my capital one card and was told by the Capital One representative that we had delayed and lost baggage coverage. This was not true! Because of this misinformation, I elected not to purchase travel insurance and my bags were lost by the airline for 5 days while I was out of the country. The airline didn't know if I would ever see my luggage again so I purchased everything I needed for my 3-week trip. Capitol One Reps are telling me now that the phone call was not recorded and so they have no record of any Rep ever telling me this. I got pushed to six different Reps and spend hours of my life trying to get reimbursed for this and in the end all I got was a measly apology for my troubles. This was a gross misrepresentation of the product and Capital One should be liable for this; yet, they offered no compensation and didn't take responsibility for the situation. It was because of Capital One's Rep, assuring me that I was covered that I chose not to purchase a travel insurance that would cover such delays. I am so disappointed by Capital One's lack of integrity. I want to tell everyone about this situation and encourage everyone to do their business elsewhere. It's not worth your time doing business with them. Keep walking.
