Don't ever buy an X-BOX!!! They billed us multiple times, sometimes multiple times per day for things (mostly demos) my 10 year old downloaded and did not realize he was having to pay with real money. He did not even know the parental password to get at credit card info and these charges were not approved. I made three attempts to resolve these over charges and wore out the batteries on two wireless phones over a 2 hour period with no resolution at all. I was transferred time after time to a different associate and assigned a new reference number each and every time. Yet, I had to explain my situation and problem to each new person I talked with. I lost nearly two hours of my time on three separate occasions trying to resolve this problem to no avail. I am now forced to dispute the hundreds of dollars in unauthorized overcharges from that first month of using X-Box Live. Save yourself a lot of grief! Buy a Play Station!

This is the last straw....never,ever,ever buy a microsoft product! over 65% of all xboxes fail. this will now be the 3rd time sending it back for repair and its only 2 years old. So frustrating. Now they want 120 bucks to fix it...what a joke...I never should have bought this piece of CR@P... Playstation is the only way to go!

xbox live allows you to create a second profile. not account, profile. i did. it never once says you will be charge. everything on live makes you pay points up FRONT. all those things mention payment. this did not. they have been charging me for TWO ACCOUNTS since i made a second PROFILE. this is illegal. you cannot take someone's money without telling them they're being charge. i tried in vain after ungodly hold times to get a no, over and over again, on refunding my NON APPROVED CHARGES. i am quitting their service. they are thieves.

i am on my second console in 5 months. the replacement one that was sent got the ring last week. all the emails that i have sent all say the same thing. i asked to email a supervisor and i get another generated email that has a general contact number. very upset with xbox now. and when i finally got through on that number, the lady must work for a credit card company. she actually asked me for the last 4 of my social. hopefully someone was listing to that call.

I sure hope so. I have called support 3 times about the same error, stayed on hold for a over 2 hours total!!! Still no resolution very frustrating!

You guys should all realize what microsoft is doing to make a better customer service experience...Bringing all the support for America, back here to AMERICA. We have some really good support agents that are from the west coast and speak english as a first language! And the training is extensive so none of the agents should be unfamiliar with the console. And one thing that might help, just supe up if the agent is not understanding/resolving your issue...Just ask to talk to their supervisor and you will get someone who has a little more power to get things done for you. Its still in the process of being transferred, so that's why all the indian ones seem so pissed off and spiteful, because we "TOOK THEIR JOBS!!!", so just hang in there and see what we've got in store for you, the xbox customer

So after almost an entire day of trying to migrate my gamertag from my xbox to my xbox 360, I called support. They put me on hold for an hour and then I finally talked to someone. He told me what I was trying to do is impossible and that Microsoft as of April 2010 no longer supports xbox gamertags. (I already knew that was bs) Then I told him that I was reading about it from this site:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907333

This site is an article published FROM MICROSOFT in May 2010 saying that "You can use this method to transfer your gamertag from your XBOX to you XBOX 360" After being confronted with this website he "put me back on hold" Apparently "putting you back on hold" is how they say "hang up on you now" in India???

As of 4/30/2010 i am a victim of the e74 error! This is my 8th console to break! I have called and been told that i was going to receive an advanced exchange so they where goingto send me one first since i have all the problems with it. The dude Micheal who is philipino placed me on hold (for about 5 min) and came back and said i can not send you the console first,so i asked for a supervisor "nicole" and she said she was listening to his call and heard him tell me that he was sending me the console first, then i started to question her and she called me a liar so now im extremly upset i asked for her boss "kesha" she told me she was monitoring the call and heard this and i was going to get this resolved so i was starting to regain my faith in Xbox. So after 1hour and 34 minutes it came down to me getting a box to send it back and it was going to come in 1 business day it is now 5 business days and still no box. Today 5/6/2010 i called and spoke to Alison who said i would need to call back and provide her my console serial number and my credit card info and we would cancel the order and send me the console first. So once again this was not the answer.

I received a replacement unit after our original 360 caught the red ring of death. The "new" unit overheats and they somehow wiped the memory from our hard drive and we can no longer save games. The woman on the phone, who did not speak English, wanted me to sit on the phone with her and wait until the unit overheats. She repeatedly asked me to explain the overheating - which tells me she doesn't really know what the concept of over heating even means. I am also approaching 6 months on this issue. So glad we also have a Wii becaus the Xbox is really not fun anymore.

Absolute Worst ever!!

It's neither an Indian guy, or a Phillipino dude...And they are almost always rude.... and they transfer, and put you on hold untill you just cant take it anymore...I get all my answers related to the XBoX on Forums..

Xbox customer has lengthy call with their technical support concerning an Xbox that has repeatedly broken. (expletive at end of recording)

A customer tries in vain to reach Xbox customer support. A good look at a ridiculously unhelpful IVR. While the call sounds like a prank, it still shows how hard it is to reach a person.
