To date, I had made eight phones calls to Tracfone Tier 2 Tech Support group to transfer the original tracfone number, activation service period and balance of minutes to a replacement phone that I had purchased from an EBay seller. The phone did not have a sim card. All of the customer service support at 1 888 442 5096 were professionals who dealt very effectively with my frustration and worked toward getting a sim card for my phone. Overall, it took about a month to get my sim card and finally activate the replacement phone. I have been a Tracfone customer for over six years and although I had some issues over the years, Tracfone has ultimately resolved them to my satisfacation.

I began calling tracFone on Sat 08/21. I wanted to have my area code changed. Since then I have been unable to use my phone, have been on tech support, at great expense to me, for over 2 hours on 4 different days, and my problem has not been resolved. When TracFone tried to change my area code, there was an error on their end, which made my phone no longer usable (unregistered SIM message)and my minutes are lost--and TracFone has been unwilling and unable to replace my phone or help me at all.

So far. Customer service has been a dreary and dismal affair--based on my experience TracFone Customer Service could not be worse.

I have just spent 1:11 on the line with TracFone Customer Service. They had added my airtime to another phone and so mine had run out. I think I got the person who knew the least on the phone. It ends up that they will credit my Visa and I will still have to go back online and add airtime (and hope they get it on the right phone this time) Over an hour spend and still no phone!

I have had tracfones for nine years and have been very satisfied. I have tried other phone co's in my area that would not even pick up a signal at my home, but my tracfone has helped me even on long trips to Ga. Ohio and many points between. And I have always had good service.....thanks ARS South Texas

I do have a slight problem...I accidently turned off the light in my phone and can no longer read the data on the screen. how can I get the light back on? I can't read anything on my screen....ARS

there is no such thing as tracfone customer service. after one and a half hours of holding I hang us. and they keep telling me how VERY important I am to them. this is such a joke.

there has to be a better way but what is it.
I am sorry I bought the phone in the first place.

I'm sorry to read about all the problems customers are having with TracFone. I can't comment about TracFone's customer service because I've never needed to contact them. I've had a TracFone phone (LG) and service for about two years, and I've never experienced a problem with either one. This has been the easiest, user-friendliest phone service I've ever had, just perfectly stress-free from the first day. Whether I add minutes online or over my phone, they are always credited immediately and I get my double minutes. I am 100% happy with TracFone, but I will certainly remember these comments if I ever need to transfer my service to another phone!

Bought the $20 double minute phone from Walmart...tried to transfer my AT&T phone number which was printed on business cards and resumes...they mishandled the porting and my old number which I have had since 1994 was given to someone else! Try and get a cell phone in Dallas these days with a 214 area code!

TRACFONE/SAFELINK WIRELESS






First,I want to compliment your Customer Service Representative "Sherlett" ID# 55953. She was very very Kind, Very Supportive, Very Knowledgeable, and repeated back to me everything that was important to the replacement of my Tracfone. Also, I want to compliment Tracfone's RAPID RESPONSE to my e-mail regarding my lost/stolen phone. I was surprised that I was answered the following day! And was told that I would be taken care of. In a world now where your are "just a number" and a "who cares" attitude, Tracfone did not let me down. I received my phone yesterday! and I am so happy. I have no other way of communication other than my Tracfone through Safelink Wireless. At this time, I have lost everything. My home, my red convertible, my self esteem. But, little by little God is helping me in getting back up. Bless you and your company. Where all other cell phone companies have let me down when I had money! Tracfone came through for me when I was helpless.
