phone got dropped in water, well I bought another phone. I tried online to transfer number from broken phone to new one plus transfer air time. I called the number I got online and finally got a person. she did not speak English very well. she kept telling me her computer had to boot up. this went on for 15 minutes. then she said she had to talk to a supervisor, that took 10 minutes. then she came back and kept telling me that her computer had to boot up. sounds like bull. I never got anything done

I must say if the people that answer the line when you call in could hear them self talk I think maybe they would look for some other type of work as this is America and most people speak english why then can you not understand a dam thing that there saying when they talk not to mentoin youed think that a company this big a phone co no less would have a better connectoin so a person could at least hear and understand what the hell is beeing said on both ends very unprofessional and inconsiderate

I tried to reach tracfone with number that is provided on the website over 7/8 and could not get a live person. I was really skeptical that this number would not work or be some sort of scheme. but the number ACTUALLY worked. Not only did it work it was only a few minutes and problem was resolved. I purchased a new phone on Wednesday, late Thursday night (so 1 day later) my phone said "unregistered SIM" so I was unable to use my phone. First thing on Friday morning I called and was transfered to 6 different people before a man told me they would overnight me a new SIM card. Well Saturday came and no card. Monday came and no card. Now after calling today (Monday) I get transfered again to 3 different people, then get put on hold for 50 minutes. I call back because after waiting 50 minutes I had to hang up. I talk to a girl who I explain the story to AGAIN, then she tells me she has to transfer me again after having me put in codes to my phone that I sware to God I've already done 5 times, THAT DO NOT WORK. She also told me no card was ever sent. WHAT?! I ask to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor has me on hold for over 10 minutes to talk to a "manager". Seriously I'm going to flip out. Just send me a card or a refund. I'm over this.

This comany's employees treat me like a moron every time i call them. Just because im stuck with this phone cause im poor DOES NOT mean im stupid! If they would actually tell me whats wrong instead of telling me its messed up, WHICH I ALREADY KNOW, i would be much happier.

Angelo is the best tracfone employee! Actually the only one worth talking to. I was on the phone with tracfone for over 3 hours! I was given the run around, talked to four different people. Finally decided to call headquarters number, angelo answered. What a Godsend! Within 13mins angelo solved the mystery of my missing 211 minutes! Thank you angelo.

I ordered a new tracfone to replace an existing one. When it arrived, I put it together but could not get the back cover to go on and snap into place. I called customer service, talked to 2 different service reps whom I'm pretty sure are not americans. They could not grasp that I was telling them the cover did not fit. One of them suggested I take the phone to a Walmart and let the person there try to get it on. I told them Walmart does not service tracfones. they simply display them. You buy it there and take it home to assemble. Plus they did not have this model in stock or I probably would have bought it there. My next step was to ask for a return authorization and a replacement for the defective phone. I got the run around there too. They tried to tell me that they would have to activate the new phone before I could return it. Why would I want to do that. Then they told me to turn the phone on. I did. Then they said, "So if it's on it's ok. No, I told them again, the back cover will not go on. They told me a replacement phone could not be delivered to the address I gave them. That their GPS told them it would be undeliverable. Strange.........since the one I bought on line was delivered to that address. Then I was told you couldn't get a refund on a headset. I told them since I was holding the order form in my hand, I read them their return policy. Yes , you can. Then they wanted me to let them use the money I sent for the phone to be used as minutes for the one I was replacing. That phone has problems so NO, I don't want to do that. I finally told them no way. I want to send this defective one back and I want my money refunded. He finally told me OK, but it would cost me the return postage, and that I had to send it back by a carrier that had tracking numbers, and that I had to call them with that tracking number within two weeks using a toll free number he gave me that would only be active for 2 weeks. I have never heard such nonsense in all my life. Don't expect me to recomment tracfone ever again. Two hours on the phone for something that should have taken 5min. at the most.

Complete and total dissatisfaction with all attempts to contact someone willing to help purchase a particular product as directed by a previous contact. Three and one-half hours of bouncing from contact to contact with people unable to comprehend the problem or unable to speak English fluently enough to convy their issues compounded the problems. Attempts to reach supervisory personnel also were unproductive. One attemp actually went through before being disconnected. Two promises of return calls remain unfulfilled two-plus hours later.



In the unlikely event that this is read by someone actually intersted in helping, I am looking to purchase two (2) product number with the LG221C phone and bonus pack. I have to have them in hand and available to activate by Friday 5-03. I can be reached at If I haven't had contact from someone in a supervisory capacity by 5PM EST today (Tue 4-30) I will be purchasing a pair of phones and sevice from your competitiors. I used to copmliment and recommend Tracfone to friends and aquaintances, it is a shame that I can no longer do that.

Why do you include english as an option? Press 1 for English and get someone outside of the US than may speak some broken English. Request someone in the continental US and get silence and then someone else that barely speaks English in Florida. Thanks for the options. Oh, well. I guess we'll see if Verison is more intersted in selling a couple of phones to people that want to actually use them as phones.
