If you are considering buying a Seiko Couture Radio Sync Solar watch-- DON'T DO IT!
It will keep correct time for one to two days and connects with the system. It will re-set the time to 1 hr behind correct time. I have it set to the NY time and it will not keep the correct time.
I would rather use a sundial in the dark than to have to depend on this watch!

Seiko used to be synonymous of excellence, You bought a Seiko and you knew you were buying quality. I am reading all these reviews and I can see that some cheap incompetent people took a hold of a company that worked hard to establish their reputation . Shame on you! It has come to the point that I hardly order on line anymore because they don't tell you upfront but once you have paid you find out that the merchandise you have ordered is coming from China and is going to take almost a month or more to get to you! Once you get the merchandise you see it's a bunch of cheap stuff that you could've gotten at the dollar store and you paid a high price for it! I purchased a clock that plays several tunes in December. I've only had it for 5 months and the clock is already not working. What a bunch of crooks,! I will never buy a Seiko again! I won't even bother sending it back after seeing all these reviews. I suggest we buy only merchandise made in the USA. These Asians are taking advantage of us.

This company is a joke, worse customer service ever. I sent my watch to replace the pin that holds the band on 12/26. Call every day after the 27 and couldn't find it, someone finally said on the 11th of January that they were processing 12/28 deliver items. On the 14,15 still no answer. Finally on the 16 they asked me for the serial number which I luckily had taken a picture of. 2 days later they sent me an estimate for $270 claiming a bunch of repairs including a new band. Something told me to go there and pick it up in person, just to find my watch full of scratches front and back and they look like they were purposely made, to the point you can't even see the serial number anymore,when questioned, they claimed that it happened while shipping ( which they force you to send with insurance, now I know why)
They are the worse company, they destroyed my watch. I need a replacement. It was my dons graduation present.

Don't buy a Seiko Clock! My model QHR016 came with no instructions and has NEVER worked! Trying to get instructions from Seiko is extremely frustrating. I give up. Complete waste of $50.

I have a SEIKO Global Radio Wave Control Clock Model No: QHR016. In changing the battery all readouts changed. I have looked at every site I can find for guidance on setting the new readouts. I have changed the time and temperature readings, but cannot get the Month, Day and Date readouts to change. Each time I press SET to make changes, the readouts in time change. In the DATE window I have VIE - Is there a written set of instructions you can send me?

My son bought me a Seiko 5 21 Jewel Automatic watch while on leave from the Coast Guard for a Christmas gift. The watch is advertised to hold a charge for 43 hours. I wore it for 15 hours daily and it would stop running during the night when I took it off. I have sent it back to The Seiko Service Center 3 times for repairs and I just got it back and I wore it for a full 15 hours and I got up this morning and it had stopped at 1:13 am (I took it off at 12:30 am.). Seiko Service has been rude and obviously has no clue how to fix this watch. The last time I sent it in I was told they would "gut" the watch and put in new parts. Well that did not do anything. I highly recommend NOT to purchase this watch or any other Seiko product. I collect watches and I will never have a Seiko in my collection. I have kept the watch in it's box because my son gave it to me, but it is useless. I am very disappointed in Seikos Customer Service.

Hi.i have been wearing Seiko watches for 30 years. It is a reliable product. I bought a SUP878. The strap is leather. Do you have metal strap? Please, let me know in order to request one.

I want to know your office here at Manila or Quezon City Philippines,because i want you repair it or others told me to replace the whole machine because its been 20yrs and its still nice but stocked up already. I dont wanna waste it so nice and never fade the gold plating. Pls help me.

Terrible customer service! They fixed (ruined my Seiko Sportura watch). Very difficult to locate and talk to anyone in management. Receptionist is terrible. Overall a very distasteful experience. I will never buy anothe Seiko watch.

Just received my first and last Seiko watch. I got it for Christmas and it is now Jan. 9 2015 and it still has not worked. I called customer service and they told me to set in the light which it has been in since Christmas and they told me to send it to them to be fixed. I have never had a good watch If this is one them, I would have bought a Timex that never quit. Just thought I share the joke of the day. UNHAPPY OLD MAN

I have a Seiko ER 6100 Dictionary/Spell Checker/ Thesaurus etc and had it just over a year but it has stopped working. I put new batteries in it last week but it did not work after changing the batteries. I have pressed the reset button but nothing happens could it be the reset button jammed as I cannot see one when I look into the hole where it is located.

On Christmas my Uncle wore one of your watches! He told me he bought it in the war in 1962 a self winder and he is still wearing it. NEVER had one thing go wrong with it in all these years! I wanted to share this with you because I couldnt beleive it! Just the back of the watch is worn other than tht looks perfect. I guess they take a licking and keep on ticking!!!! Linda Armenise
