I currently work at the Mobile, Alabama store, I love this location and my current job there; however, I also loved my old town and beach life. Recently, however, I learned about a brand new store back where I lived recently in Stuart, Florida. I'm curious to find out more details about that location...Ii lived in Stuart and did for over a decade, I am familiar with that area, and as I've been with Old Time Pottery for almost a year... I am also familiar with the company and out products and protocols.

Knoxville, TN location has horrible management. Online ordering charged me for an item the store did not have in stock, so I was told I would be refunded that amount. When questioning the manager about why the full charge posted to my account, I was called a liar and still have not received my money. That's $50.00 this company stole from me. Change your management or teach them customer service. At this point I would not hire anyone I've came in contact with at your store. Not even to clean the inside of my dumpster.

It was such a pleasure being in your store yesterday. I met one of your sales girls at the cash register. Her name was Vernice Boyce. She met me with the sweetest smile and continued that way through my entire purchases. In this day, so many people are unhappy with their jobs and pass this on to their customers. I will look forward to shopping in your store and hope I get to enjoyed this young lady again. She made my day brighter!

The old time pottery in pigeon forge use to be a really nice place. Dont get me wrong most of the employees are very helpful and nice but management is a whole other thing. I know they changed management this year and it was not for the better. They only have 3 registers open most days and they have long lines. The cashiers do their best but where are the managers to back them up? And from some conversations I overheard the employees aren't getting that help. The cashier upfront paged at least 3 times for someone named max, which I believe is a manager, but never got a response that I saw. I would suggest someone go there and spend some much needed time teaching them about customer service in a tourist town. People were leaving there shopping carts full of stuff and walking out the door. That's money that your losing.

Just left the Old Time Pottery store in Pigeon Forge. There were signs everywhere saying Yard Decor 50% off...we had 2 items that were most definitely yard decor and in that section marked 50% off. They rang up full price and the very nice clerk named Joyce said they should be 50% off since they were definitely yard decor. She had to get a manager to ok it. When the manager came they said if it didn't ring up then it's not on sale. She was extremely rude!! We have been shopping at this store for years but if this store is not going to honor the signs posted and be that rude to customers you will lose more than just our business!!

It is a shame my last visit to OTP at the Destin FL location upon checkout I was told you no longer honor a military discount, yet it is still advertised online. With so many locations willing to still acknowledge what our military does.... I will be shopping elsewhere.

I tried to contact customer service via the Old Time Pottery homepage customer service contact and each time it comes back with an error to click on the Recaptcha, but there is no recaptcha icon or link. It is very frustrating, as I made several attempts before looking up corporate info. This is the info I was trying to send:
I've been to the Melbourne Store many times over the last few months looking for big pottery containers for my yard. I've bought many in the past, but there is hardly any pottery pots at all in the store anymore. The pickings are practically none - there are a few of the plastic pots and only a handful of the smaller real pottery pots. I thought that Old Time Pottery was where you could actually buy pottery, but it seems that you took out the pottery to carry holiday items. I would like to buy several big teal or aqua colored pots to put in my yard. When will you be getting in some more of the big, real (not plastic), colored pottery?

I had the worst experience with the employee named Caroline in the floral in Murfreesboro TN. My daughter is getting married and I saw an arrangement I want to have made with different color flowers. She first asked me 'what do you want?' I asked if I could show her, she said 'no! Tell me what you want first!'. She went on to tell me she is it as far as getting assistance in the floral dept. and the arrangement I want is for a funeral. My husband then said we should leave and go to a floral shop and she said 'go ahead, they're charge you $800-900.00 for what you want!' I am appalled that this company is aware of her rude, unprofessional behavior after several complaints, and continue to allow her to treat customers in this manner. 180 River Rock Murfreesboro TN location

Picked up a very small "girls rule" sand bucket in the clearance section yesterday. I was in a hurry and bought it with a few other items for my grandaughter's sandbox. I assumed it was cheap, Old Type Pottery is usually reasonable.
Well after I gave it to my granddaughter, I noticed it was $9.99!!!!! What a grand rip-off!!! My fault, I used a credit card and didn't realize I was bring robbed. I can't return it cause it was a gift for my granddaughter, but it will not happen again. Much better prices at Target!!!
Also, at the check out, cashier asked me my zip code while processing my credit card payment. When I asked "for the credit card or my home? (They're different)
She said extremely snotty "HOME!"...Nice lady!

Very unhappy with customer service at the Tamarac, Florida store.After shopping for 3 hours and had 2 charts full with merchandise to total of $700-800, we left very upset w/o buying anything.we were buying all the merchandise for our business and they offered us to open a discount 20% account..well I presented Tax ID , tax receipt and proof of having my compamny..well unfortunately they said nothing can be done about it cause they need some other form..well elderly they said at first yes we can do it and then changed it. Very unprofessional managers both of them on the floor..I called in after we left to express my disappointment with whole experience and the gentlemen hang the phone up on me.Almost the same of the other floor Manager Natasha, she just didn't care about the customer thinks and had to say. I AM sorry but people like that shouldn't be managers at all..I will post on all social media, all of my friends and customers not to shop with old pottery any more!!!!!

Poor quality of product and employees, poor customer service, I tried to return a comforter three days after purchase with a receipt and they refused to take it back. even though at time of purchase the cashier said it could be returned with receipt within 30 days. This was at the Fort Myers FL store.

A month ago I was searching for blue wine glasses on sale for $1.00 ea to decorate as souvenirs, for my daughter's wedding which was to take place in 3 weeks in Savannah. I needed at least 30 but unfortunately, there was only 1 left. A worker asked me if I needed help..I told her my predicament. She proceeded to search all the aisles with glassware in search of 30 blue wine glasses. This lady scoured the store, searched in the backrooms, made phone calls to another store...she was determined to find these wine glasses for me. I appreciated her effort so much...however it was not to be. I decided to look for candle holders as a last resort. Ten minutes later...she approaches me with a smile and tells me the other store found 27 wine glasses. She personally picked them up for me and 2 days later she brought them to the Brandon Store! Who does that??!! Cynthia Prewitt does! What a gem Old Time Pottery has ...and she is the District Manager! I truly wish to thank her...I will never forget that day...she was my ANGEL!

So. Your Merrillville Indiana store says they do not have to honor a mistake on pricing..

My daughter n I were there tinite..10/13/15.. Around 6pm. My daugter was buying curtains that apparently an employee had shoved in a random bag after someone brought them back..Tgen stuck a $14.99 price on the bag..but on ther orher side it had a $19.99 price that the cashier rang up. My daughter said. No they are $14.99. She called manager n the manager was trying to tell us it's your policy they do not have to honor the leser price. I said..ih yes you do. She went back to see if she could find anymore n she did. They were $14.99. But. In the State if Indiana..every retail I know of as well as the one I worked for honors the lesser price. Customer is always right. Please correct this..thank you for your time.

company is very shady. People have gotten fired for being exactly $20 short in there drawer. This has happened to more than one person. It seems that because they know that being $20 short is immediate fired that managment uses it when they simply either get tired of a worker or just don't like them. It's IMPOSSIBLE that each time a drawer is short that it is always the same amount...a even amount..it's NEVER lower or higher. it's always a even number...NEVER any cents on the end. and when a drawer is short they will try to act like they want to save a worker by finding money or change on the floor and placing it in the drawer. I think cooperate should investigate the management in this store. Seems like the store manager has made friends with the people who have worked there the longest so no matter what they do...she ain't gonna fire them. so they can lie on other workers or new workers and make others lose there jobs. Ridiculous. And i agree with who talked about this points thing. They NEVER tell you how many points you have....so u can have 1 point on monday and have 10 on tuesday and lose your job. There's one worker that walks around saying that she can do what she want and say what she want because she been there for a long time and no matter what...she ain't gonna get fired. Wow...i'm shocked. Workers work on pins and needles. You never know when you will be the next to be hated on and get fired for NO REASON. BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS!!!

Just terrible corporate greed can't close on thankgiving to let employees spend the day with family. I was shopping there today and even other customers couldnt believe it. You should be ashamed. Werent your stores empty last year. Looks really bad on you as an employer not to care enough about your employees to give them thanksgiving off. Its supposed to be a time for family. What is your plans for Christmas? Just wondering, also wondering if Scott Peterson will be working too. My family will never work for such a greedy tyrant.

My husband has been in the hospital and I was 3 days past 30 days. Spoke to manager and he could have cared less. Would only do store credit even though I had receipt and credit card. Do not shop at store in Middleburg hts ohio.
