I left United Airlines because they had the worse service now Continental merge with them service went down hill again. I been trying to call them for many days to redeem coups they have sent to me I keep getting the run around. I have over 200k miles with Continental seems like they don't care.Well time take my business some were else.Thanks Continental.

AN HOUR ON THE PHONE — AFTER SIX CALLS AND A 45 MINUTE ON-HOLD — TO GET A SPECIAL MEAL AND AN ECONOMY-PLUS SEAT. AT EXTRA COST. THIS SERVICE GETS WORSE BY THE DAY. I HAD TO GIVE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER FOUR TIMES. MY ADDRESS FOUR TIMES. IT IS DISGUSTING. I AM GOING TO WRITE TO FAA. NOT THAT IT WILL DO ME ANY GOOD. THIS IS A DISGRACE. IF THERE WERE ANOTHER AIRLINE, I WOULD CHANGE THIS MINUTE.

Not one Continental phone # that I have call has gone through. I get a recording asking to call back because of the unsual higb volume of calls and then they hang up. This has been going on for 2 straight days

Just spent 1 hour 15 minutes trying to get info on my Milage Plus account. I now have a headache and am in tears because after 10 years of using my Continental Master Card, I was told I have only 44000 miles. I know I have more and am extremely unhappy about this. I wanted to go back to Europe to see old friends and I still can't reach a service rep to say where my miles have vanished. Extremely davestated.

On March 05, 2012, while flying from Chicago to MN, I mistakenly left my laptop plus other important documents such as business registration papers, land deeds, CDs containing hundreds of photographs on board UA Flight 3481-L. Left in the bag also is a copy of my published book titled: Rape, Loot & Murder: LIBERIAN CIVIL WAR: A Journalist's Photo Diary. I have since submitted a lost item report; been calling airlines customer service concerning my lost items but response has been very poor and I'm beginning to worry as to whether I wll ever get my items back.

Any idea what else I can do about this???

I have been calling Continental Airlines for 3 days now. Each day I have been put on hold forr 4 hours and 45 minutes. I have now been holding for 2 hours now. This is f...ing rediculous! What happened to customer service?? I will not be using them again! This is what happens when they out-source; we get a bunch of dumb asses!

My name is L Calderon and I had reservation with contintental going to phoenix ARIZ July 11 -Jul 14 2011. Rev# D81X6F. Cant get customer service to rebook =- stayed on the phone over an 1 with no luck of getting customer svs.

HELP need to book a trip to Puerto Rico May 5 thru May 11 using the previous ticket with undertanding that I would be refund 4100.00 because I had death int he family. Send death certificate and flight information to Continental. 201 317 8622 HELP cant book online using the previous ticket.

I have been on the phone over 1 hour right now trying to use an e-travel certificate. Ever since United took over, customer service is now in the Philippines and they do not know how to use the software to navigate through the system. This is absolutely ridiculous. Before the merger, we would get connected to someone in the US who KNEW how to navigate through the system. Why should it take so long with so many errors on customer service's end for me to use these stupid certificates YOU issued instead of a refund? Allow us to use these directly on your website so to avoid having to call in to the Philippines. And to top that off, you are charging me $25 because I called to book a flight? I didn't want to call but I have to in order to use these stupid certificates. STUPID

Living the nightmare now. Flight from Houston to Norfolk VA march 9 delayed two and a half hours then cancelled. One of many Alledgedly due to weather--yes there were thunderstorms--but something smells bad. Two and a half hours on line and told next available flight would be TUESDAY--FOUR DAYS LATER. Now we are on stand by status with a later series of three flights confirmed to get back to Norfolk from Houston. Agent at airport was freindly and did seem to work hard to find a solution. For about 45 minutes! It was midnight, no rooms and/or no shuttle service so spent night in airport which is Beginning to wake up at 4:45 AM. At 56 I'm too old for this. Fly united again? I think not. Wonder if we will ever see our luggage again.

After being a loyal customer of Continental for years, an Elite One Pass member and holder of Continental Airlines credit cards I have decided today that I will use up my miles and end my relationship with Continental/United. Their service has declined to a point where I would prefer to just fly another airlines entirely. The real tragedy is it doesn't seem that they really care but they cry to the American people when they say they aren't making money.

For some reason, my payment for my daughter's ticket didn't go thru in January - and we did not know until we tried to check her in tonight. Now they want 1300 for this 300 dollar ticket - PLUS this is a ticket we paid for last year and had to cancel so all we should have paid was a small transfer fee. They refuse to even listen. UNITED IS HORRIBLE. I will fly anyone but them after this. I have been working hours on this nightmare. I am stuck - we are all going on vacation in 18 hours - I will have to find the money. I will miss Continental.

Now (3/8/12) on hold 3 hours, just to change a return flight on a booked flight. That after 3.5 hours on hold with no agent on 3/6/12. Continental used to be good, what a disaster to pick United as a partner.

You should be ashamed--you do NOT have customer service!!!Get more agents on the phone---perhaps some of your high paid executives!!! I have a long memory, as I am sure others do also!!! We DO have a choice!!!

It's now 3 days in a row, day and night, that I have been trying to reach anyone at any of their toll free and not free numbers without results. I have kept the phone on, while I watched entire movies with commercials and nobody answered the call. I don't buy for a second that they are busy answering other calls because I know otherwise from insiders in Houston. It's simply lack of urgency as well as total lack of customer service. This happens because We All allow this companies to grow out of measure(too big to fail) and take our business for granted.

After completing a trip this April, which I booked through Continental to the UK in Nov, I plan NEVER to use Continental/United again. I have tried over 20 times in the last few months to reach a customer service rep only to be told of wait times from 1-2 hours. Trying to resolve my problem online was worthless, they couldn't access my reservation even tho I had the confirmation number etc. I am canceling my Chase Continental credit card as well.
Continental's and United's "grand" merger is creating a whole group of very dissatisfied customers. Unfortunately, I don't think that they care.

Worst customer service I've ever had an experience with. The messaging system when you're on hold talks about finding a flight status online, but when i went obline my flights could not be found and keep prompting that it was an invalid flight number. I called customer service for flight service info and was on hold for over an hour n finally had to hang up. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Last February we had 6 of us flying to Chile. They cancelled one of our flights and didn't tell us. This year we have booked to go to London for the Olympics. I just happened to look and AGAIN, one of our legs has disappeared. We travel with 2 young kids, I book early so we can get seats together. I have been trying to call now for over 2 hrs. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

I am beside myself. I'm in Houston, TX. Was just on hold for a an hour. I Need to change my trip because my mother was diagnosed stomach cancer and was met with absolutely no help regarding the travel insurance I purchased or reservation changes from Houston to Laredo, Tx. I've generally never had a problem with customer service reps operating out of South Asia, but this was ridiculous. Was treated incredibly disrespectfully and was disconnected before any travel changes could be made. Was given no assistance whatsoever with my travel change needs.

RIDICULOUS! Continental changed all of our flights, and didn't notify us. Just happened across it while looking up seat assignments. There are six of us in a group flying to the Bahamas in May. So we all get together and call Customer 'NO' Service--- after 8 hours and 17 minutes I finally gave up and hung up.

I have been trying to get a hold of customer care for two days now. first day i was on hold for three hrs and today i can't even get on hold. they go to transfer me and just hang up on me. what the hell!! give me back my money or PLEASE answer my phone call so i can book my flight my flight again.

Bot my spouse and I are silver elite members and we called a number listed on our "special" card to request a refund for charges that were made on our credit card for a reservation mistake that their agent made. I have been trying to call every weekend for 5 weeks and have been put on hold for 2-3 hours each time. Do they really expect customer loyalty???

have been trying to find out about Silver airlines, part of continental. tried to book unline but no information for new "introductory flights to Tampa" Tried on line Chat and never answered question. Never gave me a phone number. Finally found it, not on continental's website but on this site. Called yesterday, on hold for over 2 hours, tried again to day and am still on hold after 1 hr, 45 min. this is riduculous. Who would use this airline. It SUCKS as a felow commenter said.
