Your "customer service" is an oxymoron.
I called several times today requesting mail envelopes for deposits to my accounts.
I did not want a loan, just deposit envelopes. I was asked for my account number, birthdate, security question, mothers maiden name, etc.
I speak fluent English, yet your "Customer Service representatives seemed to be totally ignorant of my request.
Years ago (I'm a long time customer) service was very good. None of your representatives understood my request.
Time to look elsewhere for interest banking.

I have been trying to get a hold of Ally invest for 3 days now and I only get We are handling a high volume of call wait time is over 30 minutes. I waited 2 hours and still nothing except playing music.I sent 3 emails they answered and said someone would get back to me in 1 business day.That was yesterday Tues. 01-02-2018. This is very bad customer service.I also called their main number and its the same.What is going on with this bank? At this point I have a vey bad impression. And I did not receive this bad service with tradeking.

There is no number you can dial which will connect to a live person who speaks English- the 801 main number in Utah is investor relations voice mailbox, the mail number in Detroit is ONLY for credit cards and cannot connect you to anyone or anyplace else. This company's customer service is pathetic and incompetent- nobody speaks English and you cannot get past the main number.

Worst customer service. Things related to Family Trust must be handled manually, the online system can not handle them. Wasted over 1/2 hour on phone before the rep realized he had to send me a form. I asked if it could be e-mailed but it never was. When I called in again and asked for a Supervisor in the Trust dept, I was told another few minutes which dragged on to another 1/2/hour call. They blamed another dept, "operations" which was in process and could take another few days just to send a blank form. Yes, their interest rates are competitive, but if I costed out my time (and frustration) depositing your money with Ally becomes a losing proposition. Worse, there is no way to complain. Every imaginable corporate number gets routed back to the same customer service call board.

Have been trying to get a lien release letter so I can sell it with a clean title.so far I have been waiting three weeks.They said they sent it out. I lost the sale of my vehicle because of the incompetent people I speak to . One person named (Misty) promised to overbite the letter at their expense. We'll 3 days later no letter. I called back and they have no record of this. This agrevates the hell out of me to have people that have no idea what they are doing and get paid on top of it. They promised I would receive the lein release in 5 business days.
Why would anyone in their right mind invest in this company.
Good luck trying to get anything from these jerks.

Will not go through ally again! I over nighted a certified check 2 weeks ago and still no title. I asked for a certificate of lean release and thats going to take 24 to 48hrs to be faxed. Terrible customer service! Next step is filing a complaint with the BBB.

My first time doing business with Ally Bank through an Auto Lease... the phone service, God knows from where it was provided, was one of the worst and time consuming experience I've had.. and it seems no way to get any live person's attention.. the call got transferred to all over the place with little knowledge of the case

I agree with others. The customer service group in, I believe India, is the worst. No one else will talk to you but this group and they have no customer service skills. I am going to just file complaints with the federal government since they don't want to address the issue.

Ally Bank and their customer service is the most pathetic institution I have EVER dealt with. I will NEVER do business with anyone or anything that has to do with Ally Bank again. EVER

This number typically reaches their Phillipine call center, where the agents are heavily accented and minimally fluent in English. If you have a complex or serious, as in expensive issue, they are useless. And if you ask them to do more than reiterate their scripts, they are lost. When I switched to Spanish, on one call when communicating in English was hopeless, the agent became abusive and condescending.

Easiest bank so far to reach! No endless menu tree just straight to a personal banker!
