12/12/09 12:39 PM, no message, nobody picked up after 12 rings. In August I changed my plan to see if it would fit my needs. Good. help. But...

On 10/9/09 I sent a letter with my payment saying "Please terminate this account....I no longer need a cell phone." I checked the box to indicate address change and/or comment on back. On the back I said to cancel the account. Put everything in the letter provided and mailed it.

Got a second bill since then. Today my wife tells me I have not done anything. Evidently she is correct. Up until I tried to cancel my account I was happy with US Cellular. They cashed my check so I know they got my letter and note. That indicates a pretty poor billing/customer service department.
