The number above IS NOT a live person, it's your lack of customer service maze. Equifax is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. I've tried for 2 days, and made at least 6 attempts to reach someone to assist me, and have been cut-off, call dumped, and when finally reached a live person, told to call back when the system was up in 2 hrs. Guess what, it isn't. I'm a hearing impaired person, and even with aids, have a difficult time understanding a person with a thick accent. The other agencies have easy to navigate online systems, but not this one; you still get dumped without an explanation.I sent an email to what I hope is Equifax's corp office, and I will probably lose my opportunity to buy my new house because I can't get through to someone to assist me. I intend to let my congressman and senators know about this horrible company, and if I could choose who had my information instead of bureaucrats it wouldn't be this company. Shame on you!!!
