Thank you for taking the time to bring this review to our attention.

On Monday at 11:40AM Eastern Time, I endeavored to call WSJ Customer Service and waited on hold for 7 minutes. The young woman who answered had a pronounced accent, so it was necessary for her to repeat several times.

I have previously paid $44.75 per quarter for print+digital. I received a letter dated October 16 advising that my subscription would be renewed at a cost of $105.65 quarterly.

While I do enjoy the WSJ, I do not wish to renew at this new rate, which is a 236% increase!

Here are the three offers that were provided to me by your representative.

'¢ Offer 1: Renew at the $105.65 rate quarterly (exactly what was contained in the letter).
'¢ Offer 2: Renew at a rate of $49.50 per quarter for two quarters and then a rate of $104 per quarter thereafter. Note: I am unsure about the $104 figure.
'¢ Offer 3: Renew at a rate of $16.50 per month for six months and then $34.98 per month thereafter '“which is the same as Offer 2, except stated on a per month basis. I am a senior citizen, but not a DUMB senior citizen
