I am totally upset. If you are one of the customers affected by the closing of the local IL offices, be VERY careful over the deceptive language that is used in the letter sent to you. They attempt to convince you sprint customers will not be charged a cancellation fee but you actually will if you make the change before they send you a final letter to tell you the sale is complete. IF you have already made the change (like many others I know have) and you have been charged a fee deceptively, I suggest you not settle for anything less than having the issue addressed on a higher level. The language in the letter itself truly speaks for itself. The company is allowing local customers to upgrade their contract, get new phones, ect. knowing the company will no longer be around locally and knowing you will be unable to use the new devices w/any other cell company. What may have been good service in the beginning, you will notice is much different now that some know they are out of a job. Those who bite the hand that feed you will truly reap what you sow...no matter what new company you go to.
