I have wasted 4 hours of my time today and not any closer than having email. If I could change I would. I have had this email for 20 plus years. Maybe you all should have thought this email password change thing over again. If you are thinking of going to this company, think twice

This is addressed to anyone that has the authority or expertise to resolve a long standing issue:



We are a small business in Germantown, Tennessee. We are a medical practice and our phone lines are the livelihood of our business. It is how our patient�s reach us and it is how our referring physicians reach her to make referrals. We have had so many issues the past 18 months that we have lost business and worse the respect of the medical community to be able to adequately take care of business. We have had multiple postings on social media from patients regarding issues with our phone systems. Our referrals for new patients as well as our patient satisfaction has declined greatly in the past 18 months due to the problems with our phones. I take this very personally as this has happened on my watch and I have not been able to get it resolved. I am a very professional business woman and I have been in the healthcare administration field for 30 years. I have worked for very small practice and I have worked for very large practices and I have NEVER had issues with any vendor that I have not been able to get resolved in a timely and pleasant manner. However, this is my first experience with Windstream. I have gone from being patient and tolerant to outraged. While, I realize being outraged is not appropriate, I feel this issue has left me with no other recourse. This is no longer just a negative reflection on your company and your support tam but also on me personally. I can assure you I do not take that lightly. Worst of all, this calls negative attention to our clinic and that is absolutely not acceptable and ridiculous.



In November we hired a call center to answer the calls automatically if the phones went down because this was happening daily. If the phone system went down, calls were routed to the call center. This was also utilized if our phone operators were on other calls. The calls were to be routed to the call center to catch for us. This service cost our clinic an additional 1000.00 per month. Unfortunately, the past 2 weeks these calls are not being routed properly and we are paying for their service that we cannot fully utilize.



I received an email yesterday from Windstream support Trouble Ticket#: INC000031522573 that we were maxing out our bandwidth and it was felt this was our issue. I do not agree this is the problem as it has happened on weekends also when there is minimal to no activity. Also when these issue started about 2 years ago, we upgraded and were assured that we would NEVER max out our usage with the volume and size of our clinic.

I do not expect miracles but I do expect a resolution. I cannot understand how this has been allowed to be a problem for so long.

I been waiting for a tech to come since 9-29.Today is Oct.4. Everyday I get call changing my tech time. Do you not have enough techs in Lucas County? Maybe you need to hire more people.It's just silly that this has taken this long.

Finally able to access Windstream Speed test. My speed at this time of day should be in excess of 8 up to 12. Right now it is 1.50. No wonder the internet is slow to non-existent .

What is wrong with the internet today (8/31/16)? It starts and stops.....lots of downtime since 4:30 AM. Contacted Windstream around 1:30 PM and confirmed a problem in Pennsylvania with over 500 customers. Do not know if I am one of them. Tried to log onto the Windstream Speed Test site with no luck. Able to access other websites at times. Email is iffy. What a pain when you need a working internet.

I have been with out phone service for more than 3 months. I have contacted winstream several times I have had field reps to my home. A subcontractors who were hiried by windstream that said its " and we are not getting paid enough to do this job". I currently am still waiting for a phone line to be installed from the road to my home. I continue to pay my monthly bill that windstream continues to send me for my home service and MCI my long distance carrier in hopes they will soon have me connected. If I could choose another provider i would have along time ago. Customer service is absurdly horriable. I am currently starting my 4th month with NO ground line. This is a huge inconvenience and is affecting my job and business. When I call customer service it is nothing to be on hold for 30-45 min each time just to be transfered and the problem unresolved. Please please please tell me when this issue will be resolve still with out service!!! Going on 4 months......why?

My 88 yr old mother couldn't get her phone service started . After several attempts we got Darryl Reddich,Jr. He worked with us and straightened everything out perfectly. Wanted to let you know how he went way beyond the call of duty to help us. His attitude was cheerful, even when we had to contract him several times.
Just wanted to share our experience with Daryl. Before we very connected with Daryl we were very upset and frustrated.

We have been a customer for eighteen years and can't get anyone to fix our phone for three days. What if there is an emergency?

This is my 3rd email with zero response!!!!! Needless to say we are not happy,satisfied customers. Our internet has been a problem for awhile now. It constantly cuts off through out the day never mind trying to get on it during the evening. It's impossible to watch Netflix, play Xbox or just do simple things such as Facebook. I can only imagine how difficult it will be in a couple weeks when school starts back and my kids try to complete assignments online. Immediate action is required!!!

Phone has been out since July 14, 2016
Was suppose to have been on the medical work orders. As of today July 30, 2016 no one has repaired her service. She is 81 years old and she needs her phone!

My High Internet stopped working on July 12, 2016. I called on July 13, 2016 @ 8:30 am, talked with 5 different reps, on-hold for 1 hour and 55 minutes, talked 55 minutes. Technical advisors could not fix problem on-line. Was told someone would call me in two days to set up in-home repair, upgrade speed to 20 MB and add Wi-Fi. No one Called. I called back on July 17, 2016, on-hold for 1 hour and 14 minutes, no one answered. I called again on July 18, 2016, was told my service would be on July 21, 2016. No one came on July 21..called again, was told it would be on July 28, 2016.. Technician did come on July 28, 2016 and got my high-speed internet back on line. So, from July 13, 2016 until July 28, 2016 I did not have any internet service. So, you tell me, does that sound like Customer Service a large company like Windstream should be proud of..

After two years of enduring 1.5 (yes, that's right) of signal and at times not even that high. Come to find out that we could have normal service if Windstream would run 350' of cable and connect us to a different line. Hard to find any numbers or corporate address to write a complaint. This the Branford, Florida hub and the supervisor is Ricky Page. Very disappointed that I need to go this route. Based on the fact that we pay the same amount for good service our monthly bill should be $2.00!!!
I have two rentals that supplement my retirement income and one has decided to leave because he works from home and cannot get adequate connect to complete his job. Shamefull!

My phone bill is over$260.00 I was going to let windstream take the amount out of my bank,as I was in the hospital they had cut my phone off,I thought they had taken it out and then boom no service I'm on a fixed income and I still need my phone I will pay the amount on the1stthank you Carol Angel

The customer service is a joke ! I have been on the phone for 2 hrs waiting for help ! No one ever picked up ! About ready just to cancel all their services .

Trying to reach a customer service rep at this company is impossible. The entire company is automated and if that doesn't frustrate you enough, they will hang up on you if you ask to be connected to a live rep. I have windstream at my home, because there is no other service provider. They have been telling me for almost two months that someone would be there on certain days and no one ever shows. Now I have a phone line at work that I cannot get in touch with anyone to report it to. Take my advice and avoid this company like it has a horrible STD.

This company broke a water line in my yard while burying the cable line 7 months after they installed service to my house. After being bounced around and disconnected from their support lines over the course of 2hrs, I have come to realize they will not be fixing or reimbursing me for the cost of the repair. They claim on the phone that they will and gave me a number to call but it was a different number for the same customer support line with no different options to have this taken care of. By the way, it is illegal to dig in Georgia with out calling 511 first which they did not do. This is a horrible company and the fact that their own website doesn't have any positive reviews says a lot about their customer service tactics. Do not get services from this company. It is a rip off and a head ache

I am writing this because my mom who is 80 years old and has a life line on her phone has been without a phone for over 24 hours. Oh, they said they would be there today and of course it is 6:40pm and she is still without a phone. I am calling tomorrow and cancelling her phone and going to another company. I can't have her without a phone and if ANYTHING happens to her in the mean time, I will sue Windstream for negligence. Their service is unexceptable.

these people are only able to exist because they are a monopoly other wise they would be out of business....we have and are currently experiencing a loud buzz on our business telephone line....this problem has existed since April 6, 2016....there have been numerous attempts to repair the problem but none have worked...their service techs gave us their cell phone numbers and told us to contact them instead of going through the company which resulted in them NOT logging any service calls therefore NOT creating a history of the problem....we have been literally lied to several times in the past six weeks...the last as recently as yesterday, May 17, 2016....we currently have no faith or expectation this issue will be resolved...don't really know what else to say except that in searching the internet for solutions I found that some enterprising individual has created a cottage industry by offering to resolve your problem with Windstream for the nominal cost of $15....what a bargain !

I have been paying for phone & Internet since last October. The phone works, but I STILL CAN'T SIGN ON TO WEBSITE OR USE MY EMAIL AFTER 8 MONTHS!! I got the wifi to work after 3 mo finally. They had been sending my bill to the wrong address & I didn't find out until it got shut off. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? THEY ARE RUDE AND ACT LIKE IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT THEIR SITE DOESNT WORK RIGHT! I am seriously considering suing them for fraud-not supplying a service being paid for! I'v spoken to FCC & if I do, they will support me.

Very disappointed in service repair I had a appointment at 4 pm April 27th no one showed up had to leave work early and sat there 3 hours no show. Very bad business move. I have been with you guys a very long time and I have been satisfied up until this point. I think something needs to be done to resolve this issue.

I am paying a premium for Windstream High Speed Internet that exists only in the early AM or very late PM hours. During most of the day and into prime evening internet and streaming of movies time the speed drops from an advertised 12mbps to 1-2 mbps making the streaming of content impossible. Windstream has a large and detailed file of my complaints. Windstream has promised callbacks and a technician's visit. This has not happened. I am disgusted with their promised serviced and lack of follow-up to my complaints.

I called in to the helpline because of problem accessing my email I wish I could remember the ladies name that helped me, she was so patient and kind ,a real assect to Windstream. You need more employees like her.
