Horrible customer service !!! The worst they just beat around the bush supposeably they dont have the option to cancel/refund a transaction my money is stuck to there system i sent money to my family memebedz in Guadalajara they were not able to receive for some reason i call customer service with a case & atracking number and they say they cant cancel or refund Thieves!

You are thieves ..I needed a refund on my money orders you want to charge me 15.00 per money order .. your charging me for not being able to use your money orders this is bull and you are a thieving low life business con artist in a business ..bet you screw over a lot of people .

Their phone system seems to be programmed to hang up on you (with a chirpy, infuriating, "Goodbye!") if it detects you are trying to reach a live person. Unlike pretty much every corporation where I've tried to reach a human, instead of putting a representative on when it can't figure out what you want, it just hangs up. This company clearly doesn't give a crap about customer service.

I am in an emergency situation in Azle Texas, with an elderly couple who accidentally threw away their entire money order for rent to their government housing apartments. I have been on the phone with Wu no less than 15 times. I have been hung up on, given numbers and extensions that don't exist and put on hold for a total of hours. I am simply trying to get a stop payment for this disabled couple who are at high risk of getting evicted!! I have never dealt with a company like this in my life. This could be a life or death situation and I can not find anyone in this corporate giant to talk to. This company is a disgrace. I'm contacting Fox 4 New in Dallas to investigate. Maybe they can get an answer.

I would like to be able to speak to a Live technical support person to help me solve a problem that I'm having with Western Union basically when the store is not working for Western Union how are you able to receive your money at that store do you have AK number RQ number for that machine is at Rite Aid on Broadway Everett Mass if I'm able to call Western Union and verify my information I could at least get my money without having to travel further send that I'm a senior citizen I would like an answer to this email address

Western Union customer service SUCKS. I have been trying for over 2 hours to get a typographical error fixed.. no luck on line and all customer service numbers go to a canned response with no way to reach a real person!

I sent $3000 to my son Peter Lowney in Valdez AK. The money went to Carrs Safeway in Valdez AK.I called them to make sure everything was OK.Told them it was a emergency transfer,the Western Union Rep at Safeway was very rude and and not helpful. The following day when Peter when to pick up the money. They would not give it to him.I had told the WU rep that it was an emergency.I called WU [via Walgreens in Newton Ma ]They were helpful.]They finally said they would give him the money.That was after he had driven back home several hours away.I would hope you will replace that employee or perhaps find another venue in Valdez AK.Thank you so much Bruce Lowney

what a piece of crap company..reachability yea just try and you will see you cant reach anyone ..there automated service sucks..and if you do talk to a live person they cant talk English and sure as hell don't know English,over 3hours wasted and still got no where.. had to leave the place and go home and try and get in touch with anyone .that's fifty extra miles for me ..western union if you cant help people fold up your doors and leave..and you want a fee for all this bull ..you should pay me ...the scale doesn't go low enough to rate you

NEVER USE. My experience has been horrendous. WU has refused to honour the transactions and as a result have left relatives without money over seas. Numerous phone calls could not offer any clues as to why they sent the money back.......we are no talking large sums here but three small transactions. Bizarre and very insulting. Was given the run around and asked to speak to the people who decided on these "business decisions" but surprise...no one could say why it was rejected......never again. All responses read off a card....didn't think an organisation could ever operate like this. I appreciate the need for security but this is indescribablely stressful , unnecessary and completely unprofessional.

I have been told by WU that I can no longer use WU,because My name is similar to a person who is no longer allowed to use WU. I have contacted WU about the matter. They say I have to prove I am me. I am a hold card member. !! First they said to Go to an agent location to send . I did but they still refused to let me send money.Then I was told I need to fill out verification form .My internet devices will let me read the form not fill it out online. So I call them and get the run around.

Western union is supposed to be one of the oldest and most trusted companies in the U.S. iI recently had the unfortunate experience of having a money order stolen from me it was completely filled out and unfortunately the crook somehow erased my information and replaced theirs Alicia Thornton in Englewood corporate office lied and said the money order was not altered and the case is closed. I am pursuing this matter and dont appreciate being ripped off twice!! They ought to be ashamed of the treatment of customers and I will continue to fight for my hard earned money!!!!

Hi.good evening Im Cris Angelica Irinco from philippines and I have concern regarding your service, I am hoping tru this message will help me. My cousin from kuwait sent money thru westerm union last sunday November 8 2015, when I'm going to one your branches to claim the remittance they didn't accept my Identification card I presented because it is TIN I.D , philhealt and brgy. Clearance only, so I told my cousin if its okay to her to transfer the name to my sister, last Wednesday November 11 my sister went to your branch to claim the remittance but the teller said the name is still under cris angelica irinco. We chatted our cousin to transfer the name immediately, so on friday November 13 when my sister went again to the western union branch the teller said the remittance has been already claimed. So we don't understand whats happening because it is really impossible to claim it without us knowing, my cousin is really mad to us she thought we are liers.
Please help me tru this problem and what is our right on this matter?

Western Union customer service stinks. The las cruces nm Police department have been trying to get a copy of a money order that was stolen and later cashed. When they called the fraud dept they were given instructions on where to fax a request for a copy of the money order. The problem is the fax number is no good. I called and got another fax number, it was no good either. On the times I have tried to call, and were finally able to get a live person, they were evidently from India. I couldn't understand a word they said. When I asked for a supervisor, they hung-up. My advice is to NEVER NEVER EVER use Western Union services.

I have tried several times to get through on the website TO NO AVAIL. Then, when I try to connect with a live person I get sent to an offshore center and am suppose to give them my personal money information. To boot, the reception on the line is extremely poor. Your service arrangements are tedious.

Since the first week of January 2015, I've tried to redeem my WU rewards, as I am a customer with Western Union since 2011, almost 4 years now. I am also a disable individual, and with all else, I am supposed to be accommodated because of my disability. I know that not all the time, things are perfect, but how many times must a Customer of yours go through "chaos and/ havoc" before she can honestly admit that Western Union not only get you wired money in minutes, but you also can redeem your WU rewards in Minutes also. NO! I can't say that. I have had nothing but pure misleading information by your Western Union agents. I was suppose to get a redemption first in from my reward which was at that particular time one agent quoted me 734 points, another quoted me 713, and another agent quoted me 703 points. The first request was supposet to be in the amount of $130, the next in the amount of $150, and after speaking to Heba, agent number 013, today, January 24, 2015, I only have 147 points. I have been questioned, asked my personal information many times by your agents who are employed by your company worldwide, and still I've gotten NO FAVORABLE RESULTS as to why I am not receiving my WU regards in a timely manner. I am experiencing some conflicting information, and that is why is that you guys can send money in minutes, but your agents don't provide you with the correct info... When I quoted my WU number to the agents/people on Saturday, Heba #015 says my WU number is 461-959-482. Another guy told me it was However, if you would check the computer, you will see how many attempts I've done to retrieve my WU rewards, to no avail. It is so frustrating as a disable individual whose voice is not being heard. I have had so many people on this, asking me questions. Questions they should already know, as they can see when the last time I sent money, to the first time I started sending money, back in 2011, frequently to a Mr. Ernaud Prophete, my boyfriend in Dallas, Texas, to Audley Smith and Carlona Smith as recently in December 2014. I sent them $100 a piece. I retrieved my money back from Mr. Prophete as he didn't need it. I was told someone from western union would call me. I have not received a phone call,nor the money, nor a tracking number to receive the money. This was the beginning of January 2015. All I am asking that this problem be resolved asap. All I want what is lawfully due me and that is the $150, I was told at first I was to received. Now I am only getting $30, according to HEBA the agent I spoke with today. What is happening? Please... I need to know what is going on with my transactions at you Royalty Department and/or Lolyaty Department. I am not sure what they are saying. I have a problem about the money transfer, My boyfriend working in USA he sent me a money here in Philippines. We're wondering why I didn't get a money its first time have a problem on Western union he monthly used that money transfer. Everytime I pick up the money the teller said have a problem on track number, It is possible have a problem on western union branch in USA?

western union stink they are con people they say that it is simple to send 123 yet I sent my partner a large amount of money which is the last one that I will send her but they made a decision not to give it to her so who is conning who I know a lot of people that say stay away from western union I am trying to bring her to Australia to be married they said it was a risk . I walk out in the street and get hit by a car which is not my fault and be killed who is at risk .it is not western union decision to reject my money to send to my partner in west Africa Ghana now I will sue the western union for every penny that I sent through them and they can PAY FOR MY PARTNER TO COME TO AUSTRALIA TO BE MARRIED AND ALL THE PHONE CALLS THAT I HAD TO MAKE TO THEM BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT SEND MY MONEY TO HER THEY HAVE NOT HERD THE LAST OF ME WESTERN UNION ARE THE SCAMMERS AND A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT LIKE THEM
