Thy are awful keep charging our savings account 30.00 fees for no reason! They won't fix it and told me to take it up with a local branch. The guy I talked to first was very rude so I asked for a manager ad she was even worse! This bank is ridiculous!!!

Very poorly organized customer service. I am trying to get me lease payoff. No way to log on the Internet. No automated phone service. After I was on hold for 30 minutes and transferred 3 x, I was told the account is in my his husbands name and they can't give me info.
I dont know how that is possible, since all my paperwork says I am the co signer. We will not be leasing through this bank again. There rates may be marginally lower but their customer service is useless. Don't use this bank if you ever need to call about your loan.

we have a 1st and 2nd mort thru us bank. i call my payments in, in sept of 2012, the girl entered the amount for 936 bucks instead of 330, and pulled 10 days sooner then i told her too.
well, she put our checking account in overdraft, and we had a 25 dollar fee from the bank.
we finally got the payment fixed, but they are *icking us around on this fee reimbursment, the customer service people are stupid and rude as hell.
now they sent me my october bill, and it has a 25 fee also!!!!

We Purchased our home around march of 2003. January of 2008 I lost my job. I was forced to move from that city to find work about an hour and a half away. I eventually ended up moving to the town that my work was in. I admit that our pay history was not perfect but it was not horrible. I found someone that was interested in the house and I let them move in and rent until they could find a lender to buy the home for what was owed on it. Around October I started getting flack from US bank home mortgage. In November they started refusing payment. I called several times to make payments and also tried to pay them online but they had blocked my access to online payments. I called enough that I finally got someone that took a payment in December. I was unable to make any more payments due to US bank refusing payment however I continued to try to pay my payments. Around February of 2009 not only I but also my renters received a notice in the mail that the house was being foreclosed on for "nonpayment". Let me reiterate this statement US bank refused to take payment from me on this home yet they were foreclosing for non payment. I could not get anyone to speak with me over the phone about this matter so I sent in a letter and to my surprise I got a reply threw the mail. It contained a signed document that was in my mortgage contract that stated that it would be my primary residence. I read a little further into this and noticed that it also said due to certain circumstance like death divorce loss of employment etc that we could move out of the house. US bank knew that I had lost my job in fact I changed my address with them and told them that I had moved due to losing my job. Anyways the house was finally foreclosed on around may of 2009. I received no eviction notice yet when I went to check on the property I was unable to gain access because the Relator had put it under lock and key. Again I had not received any eviction notice. It was sold under Remax. A few months later I received a bill from the bank and from US Department of Rural Development stating that I owed 20k to them. This completely startled me. I looked at the amount that they sold the house for and if I am not mistaken it was for a little more than what I owed. They were billing me for repairs (that were never Made ) paint which was not done Realtor fees and closing costs of the new loan. We went by the house after it was in the process of being sold and nothing had been done to it. It was just as I left it other than the grass had been mowed. My taxes are now being kept because of this. I don't agree with the process that took place. I don't have the means to hire an attorney to fight this case but have talked to more than one person that said that this same thing happened to them with US bank and department of Rural Development. I think that somewhere there is something fishy going on. I feel like US bank has completely done something illegal and I am paying for it. I lost everything. I am trying to rebuild but it is so difficult because of the complete devastation to my credit report because of this. We Literally lost everything. I feel like Rural Development and US bank has the mentality of "Push em Down. Now kick them while there down"

US Bank violates basic lending laws, changing mortgage amounts, insurance requirements at will. Probably most lenders are like this these days, but in my experience, US Bank is one of the worst.

One of their annoying practices is to put money meant to pay off a mortgage in a suspended state, allowing interest to further accrue. While this is probably a legal practice under certain circumstances, trust me , they abuse it, and I hope they get caught at it one day.

US Bank would not help me with certain charges. Yesterday I received a call from a Donna Eisler saying it was the last time she would call me to seek a solution. I called her stated extension number, could not get a voice mail, and was hung up on. This is ridiculous service.

I have been trying to get a check issued by my insurance company applied to my automobile loan with us bank since November. It has still not been applied and interest is still continuing. I have endorsed my part and sent first check in Nov. along with a letter stating to notify me when received and applied. Never heard from anyone. Called and they said I sent it to the wrong department. But it was never returned nor was I ever contacted. I had my insurance company put a stop payment on that check and issue another. They gave me another address to mail it to. I sent it along with a letter to notify me when received. Never heard anything. When received loan statement my amount had not decreased on my loan and summary showed check had been applied and then reversed and taken out. No one could explain this to me by phone and I never received any check back. Put stop payment on second check from insurance company. The third time the insurance company sent it directlly to you at US bank along with my account number to deposit to my loan written on the check and mailed it to where person contacted said to mail it in Osh Kosh Wisconsin. Never heard from you. When I called you after Christmas I was told must not have gotten there yet. Yet later that day received a letter from US bank saying check was being returned to me, yet the check is not my check but somebody else's check made out to someone other than us. It was issued by another insurance company other than mine. When I called about this I was told it was your mistake and someone would call me back the next day. And noone can tell me where my check is. I guess it was sent to the person on my check. And still not applied to my loan as I have tried to get done since November and as interest continues.
I am an educated person and have never ever had this type of trouble with any bank or company. It has not helped to talk to anyone there because no one can solve this problem. I have lost all faith in this bank. I cannot get my insurance check ( or I should say checks) since three have been sent to you, applied to my loan nor sent back with an exlplanation. I have no idea what is going on there. I would like someone who is in a higher up position than obviously the people I have talked to to call me and get this straighted out. The last person who sent me the wrong check and said someone would call me back was Debbie Zweiger US Bank Unit Manager in OshKosh Wisconsin. I guess I need to go above her.

I started a re-finance on my house and they were more then happy to take my info and credit card # for a application fee and credit check fee. But when my appraisal came in low they wanted to charge me a PMI and I said cancel the whole thing. So then they charged my credit card for the appraisal. The comparables they used were not "viable" sales but they said I can't fight the appraisal company and refuse to give me a refund on my application fee. Nothing was said about a PMI at the beginning. I feel ripped off and am sorry I have a mortgage with them.

I have been banking with us bank for about 5 years. This year around may they have decided to start charging me overdraft charges about twice a month totaling aprox $500. They claim it's for some reason or another and I show proof that it is not at that point they will change their story and say it is something else at that time I will present a receipt or screen shot of my account with times and dates. Again they change their story and once proven wrong again they just flat refuse to help me understand why and in most circumstances deny compensating me for my charges and troubles.

My account was overdraft on tuesday 15, I called to see why. They told me it was overdraft monday 14 from a check that was cashed on the weekend. First, I am suppose to receive text notification if my account overdrafts. Second I checked my account balance before midnight 14th, after midnight and then around 8 am 15th and the account was in the positive. My check was automatically deposited from work and as soon as it was my account was thrown into the negative. They had added a check cashed on the 15th to the 14th. I knew the check was supposed to go through the previous friday so I was carefully watching my account. Even checked with the person cashing the check who verified it was cashed on the 15th! They claim it was cashed on the weekend and was processed sometime before the 15th. I have screen shots of the account and proof! they refuse to help me so I closed the account

A friend of mine wrote me a check which I deposited and then made a cash withdraw after checking the balance before and after the transaction. (A week later) they charge me 2 overdraft fees and a check return fee. They told me first that it was because the check isn't readily available upon deposit. I did some research and found that actually it is up to a certain amount I confronted them with this evidence and a receipt from checking my account balance after the deposit. Then they said it was because a check was cashed on my account for my rent. So I showed them the receipt from before and after showing them that that cash was accounted for as well. then they say that it was because all these transactions were done on a weekend. (It was a thursday, non holiday) So after they ran out of stories and I had proven they had made a huge mistake they refused to help me. Also they didn't send me a text notification like they were supposed to and I mentioned that as well. nothing. ALSO WE CONTACTED MY FRIENDS BANK AND THEY SAID THERE IS NO REASON THEY SHOULD HAVE RETURNED THAT CHECK!

I have a car loan out with US Bank right now and I tried to call them to see what my balance was and they told me that they had no record of me at all in there system but my money is going to someone in US Bank.

They screwed me big time, out of $300 dollars, by improperly processing a dispute in which I paid for something I never received. They let their own incompetence be my loss, and that is never acceptable.

ALL OF YOU WITH COMPLAINTS - do like I am doing and contact the comptroller of currency - the only place that has power over them. You have rights and when they are violated the bank can be held accountable.

We had a $40,000+ vehicle loan with US Bank. Paid more than the minimum each month, on time. Paid off the loan within the last month. I waited until the final payment had cleared and then tried to log into my account to print off a payment history for my records. I could not access my account so I had to call customer service where I was informed that once the account was closed I could no longer access it online. So, I politely requested a payment history be printed and sent to me since I couldn't do it myself to which I was told that I would have to pay $25 for this "service". When I told him I could have done this 4 weeks ago myself he ever so politely told me that I should have done that, but now it was going to cost me $25 to have them do it. When I asked to speak to a manager he put me on hold for more than 5 minutes and then came back to inform me that no manager was on duty at the moment. REALLY?!?! No manager on a Monday morning? The busiest customer service day of the week. We will not be doing business with US Bank again.

Mom wanted to add me to the account. I contacted US Bank - Rocky River, OH location and they indicated it was fine to come in seperate to sign a signature card, after the primary account holder came in to set everything up.

Mom did that, dealing with the manager. I went in the next day and the manager was not there. I explained my situation to the asst. manager who proceeded to tell me there policy is for all parties to come together. I reiterated a second time that mom came in yesterday, worked with the manager with no problems, and just needed me to come in and sign the form. The asst. manager calls the manager and finally completes the paperwork.

I cannot believe how rude and unperfessional the asst. manager was to me, even after I began the conversation explaining my mom completed the paperwork with the manager yesterday.

Do they not understand that I am a prespective customer?

Even though it is only one person, it completely tainted my view of US Bank. I have zero interest in extending any of my banking business (which is currently split with four agencies) to US Bank.

I had the at least 6 overdraft charges with US Bank too. I refused to pay them and am now being sued by a lawyer for collections. I owed $200 in charges and with the overdraft fees, other fees, and interest it is up to $1300 now. There is a class action suit against US Bank, do a search and you can add your name to it and hopefully recover your money!

US Bank failed to mail my 1st car lease payment. It took 2 months for them to finally do so. They assessed a $25 late fee for each late payment. Then over the last year they failed to mail me 2 more payments each time assessing $25 late fee. They are extremely difficult to work with and were unconcerned of the problem with getting me my bills I believe its the banks way of ripping off thier customers. This year thet got $100 extra from me. FYI my credit rating is over 800.

I took in a check from my son. There was no hold placed on it, so the next day I went to cash it. The bank said that the teller should have put a hold on it, but they would check with the bank to see if it was good. I went back to the bank and they claimed that they had not heard from my son's bank. I called about the amount of withdrawal on the check and now they have placed a two week hold on the check. Thus, I will be canceling my account with these liars. Now the manager is not reachable by phone.

I closed my account at US Bank today . I had 6 overdraft charges come in at one time. I was notified by email and went to my branch to cover charges . They refused to remove even one charge in spite of the fact the charges had only come in 2 hours earlier. They have lost my business and I will tell anyone who will listen about their poor cust service.
