The sad thing is that I had better service with Blizzard on a free to play game. They got with me and even helped me on twitter of all places. I'm literally trying to give these people my money so that I can play this damn game, but they won't send me a confirmation email for anything. I've tried to make 2 new accounts and even asked them to reset my old account. Still no confirmation email, and it's been about 12 hours now. "We'll email your shortly" My ass. I keep reading about people being unable to contact them on the phone? How the hell do I complain to these people?! What the hell happened to Square Soft, they at least liked their fans. Square Enix is a joke. They have no idea what customer support is. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY, KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY. Especially when they've supported you back in the 8-bit days!

I have had issues getting my password to cancel my membership since I had such difficulties they said I was a day late to cancel my membership and got charged another 14.99 which then made my bank account bounce and charge me another 25.00 thank you for being such a good company and helping solve the problem and get my money back for something I don't even use... OH YEAH U DIDNT SO I GOT CHARGED $40.00 for a SERVICE THAT I DONT USE

I got the game and now i cant play it because they did not send me a confirmation letter. i called the company line and there was not even an automated message machine where i could leave a message. I do not know what kind of fast one they are trying to pull on me, but this is really not a nice way to welcome someone who has been a long time supporter of Square back to gaming...

This company has gone down hill. Things are still messed up and for a lack of what they say they do but do in reality can be charge for sever different consumer crimes. Tired of the BS. Thinking of starting a petition and getting my lawyers on this. WOW here I come

If anyone can add information on how to get Gold Selling Companies such as GoldCEO to stop spamming their messages and ESP. stop whispering players 30X per hour while in game, please let me or the player base know. I am very close to contacting an attorney.

I paid for services that I did not recieve. I have been trying for 3 w eeks now to get a hold of someone regarding my purchase and its a joke!!!! All I get is general information that you can find on the support page. No one is willing to help and I truly believe they do not care about their customers....I want my money back,yesterday!!!!!

I've been trying to get back my account aftetr it was hacked more than a week ago and have now given up. I will write off the money I spent on my collectors edition and the 3 month sub and just never buy an SE product again.
The "customer support" system in NA is bascially just a buffer designed to keep you from being able to talk to someone who can actually do anything. They do not respond to emails. for Phone calls and chat thier response is "We have escalated your issue but we have no idea how long it will take for someone with real power to look at it."
I have gotten an email that says I am temporarily banned, and that I my account has been terminated, and that I should log in to change my password all in the same email. This email was after the chat that said it was escalated.
Requets for clarification have been ignored.
Meh, lesson learned. Don't buy from SE.

lol ... I've been trying all week to get some help to pay my account and no one is willing to help me . I guess square enix dose not want any online players any more. sad to say that they would not let me pay ahead of time.

I tried this number yesterday it rang about 6 times then said this number is not in service. I tried a few times nevet got anything but that will try again tonight. Email response s are simole cookie cut emails that they will send you the same one multiple times I have gotten tje same one 4 times so far in the day I have been been trying to reach them. They have very ooor customer service from what ive recieved si far.

I used this number and had someone on the phone in 7 minutes. He was friendly and helpful. He was even able to solve my problem in just a few minutes so i dont know what all the bashing is about.

This number us bogus. Square Enix lists this number as their NA support number however it will give you a 'this company requires a long distance access code *click*'.

Square Enix 'support' is bad all around (email, live chat, etc.). If you're having problems with a game and need help my best advice to you is quit now and find a game that has decent customer support. May seem like a waste of money if you've bought something however if you do not heed my advice you'll find they'll waste your time for months on end trying to simply speak with a person.

charges me 3 times for one month, probably on purpose because there is no way to get in touch with them and so I have no control over the situation, its freaking me out and ive been trying to get in touch with them for 6 days now to get them to refund my monthly fee and the other 2 charges. and never f--in play again, i hate square enix. thought this garbage was over when they stopped playonline but no they are definite scam artists. can not get in touch, i emaild, tried to chat support, was on hold on this phone number all day. it is also f--ed up they dont provide this phone number anywhere on their website. I may have to be filing a law suit. do not buy or play this game, do not support these. wait for everquest next if you need a game.

I tried the "live" chat last night. I was placed in a queue -- expected -- at position 32. My position slowly went up to 1, though it was also inexplicably moving backwards (from 8 to 10, then from 1 to 2 then back to 1). After my 90+ minute wait to get to position 1, I waited another 5 minutes to get a message reading "Status: Canceled There are no agents available to chat with you right now. Please try again later." It was 8:53 PM Eastern. They were technically still open. I've emailed support my concern, however, I'm not holding my breath on hearing back. Last time I tried that, it took them two weeks to get back to me since they are experiencing an overwhelming number of support requests.

Wow... I was thinking about returning to the game since the fixes of ARR, but sad to see customer support is just as bad as ever. Not subjecting myself to that again...

Did try to at least soldier through and give the phone one try. That was a bust, phone call just got busy signal.

Very disappointed in this game, people aren't going to play an mmo, if you cant play with friends. locking everyone out of every server is so annoying. I want a refund whoever made final fantasy ripped so many people off. Yeah you see all the awesome comments from the people that can actually play. this is such bs

Haven't been able to get this number to provide a prompt or anything since Monday when I received the "closed for holiday" message. Have tried over 20x in the last 2 days and keep getting the busy signal. Have tried at their open and at their close times and all hours in between.

I was put on hold at 8:10 pm EST, and while SE closed at 9 pm, they left me on hold. They do not change the message saying that all agents are busy helping customers and that they will get to me.

I just bought the gamke today and now installed on ps3 and says server issues so far I am not impressed with the game and square enix needs to fix the server problem

The Exact same problem! The phone number took 2 hours to find, the e-mail service took 20 minutes to even get into, I call and YOU ARE CLOSED TIL MONDAY?! On you're first week of release?!?! GIVE ME MY NEW REGISTRATION! I want my money back!

just contacted psn live support. they helped me out. problem was in the printing of the product code. what i thought were 0's or O's actually turned out to be D's. was so much faster (they answered right away) than SE's support site. so for anyone having porblem with psn's product code that came with package, check it again. the printing on mine was smudgy.

This is ridiculous my game froze and I had to restart, after doing so right before I can get to the main sign in link I'm in a page that says I don't have a Sony account and need to set one up which I select I already posses a Square Enix account. Once in that screen I put in my info and then I get redirected to a page that says server client down, you need to have a Sony account. What is this BS? I checked both accounts online and they are working.

i figured out what to do. Ppl who got the early access code also got another code the activation key. Use that code when youre asked to put in a registration code. It worked for me. I tried putting my early access code and it kept telling me it was in use. So just use the other code that you should have gotten.

Mine is saying " no valid service account available to play" it's telling me I have to register a product code, and I have been playing for 3 days now. Any suggestions?
